I know you don't particularly care that I'm the CEO of this company, and you're just an intern. I also know you're not impressed by my power or my wealth, and that's fine.
You think you've got me all figured out from working alongside me for two weeks, but you don't know me. Not really.
You don't know that I'm a single dad to twin toddlers, or that those two little girls matter more to me than this entire hotel chain.
I'm not interested in starting something deep and meaningful, but what I am interested in is the way your body reacts to mine when we're in the same room. You probably assume the concentration on my face is work-related, when in reality, I'm figuring out which I want more--to nail you against the wall, or to bend you over my desk.
While you're too disciplined to act on it, I'm not. And the night you stepped into my limo, all bets were off.

➳I’ll be completely honest I’m not fan of books with cliffhangers, but if you know to expect it you can deal with it .. no notice here. so that’s why I gave 4 stars… other then that this book was a fun read
I do need the next book NOW
The Two-Week Arrangement-Published June 4th 2019❤💕
Seven Nights of Sin- Expected publication: June 25th 2019
➦📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion
Holy cliffhanger. All I can say is thank goodness the second book is out and I can jump right in, because I would have hated waiting after the end of this book! The Two Week Arrangement is a duet from Kendall Ryan featuring CEO Dominic and his new intern, Presley.
CEO and single dad. I'm here for it. When Presley starts her internship, she's not expecting to be mentored by the CEO himself, but when Dom sees Presley, he can't stay away. Presley has 2 weeks of this internship to prove herself. In those 2 weeks she and Dom grow close in more ways than just working. Their sexual tension is off the charts and though they both try to stay away for their own reasons, the pull they have is irresistible.
I listened to the audio book of The Two Week Arrangement and it was the perfect narration. I mean, with Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt you can't go wrong. They voiced Dom and Presley flawlessly and I highly recommend checking this out in audio format.
Kendall Ryan's books are always short, sexy, somewhat predictable, easy reads. And that's why I love them. They're usually stand-alones but I liked the little twist at the end of this one and I'm jumping into the conclusion ASAP!!
Dominic Aspen is a single 26 yr. old billionaire who is the owner and CEO of the prestigious hotel chain Aspen Hotels. He lives in Seattle where he spends most of his time either working or with his twin toddler daughters who are his everything. Being a single father and running an empire leaves him too busy to date, and he’s not looking for a relationship or anything long term. All he has to offer is something casual that doesn’t involve emotions or entanglements. His past has made him guarded and private about his personal life. Then a beautiful new intern named Presley Harper tests all his carefully controlled limits. He struggles to keep his attraction to her in check, and his willpower is slowly slipping the longer he’s around her. She’s intelligent, hard working, and absolutely stunning. How will he work alongside her without acting on his feelings?
Presley Harper is a 22 yr. old woman who just landed her dream internship at Aspen Hotels. She’s competing against other college graduates for a coveted spot on their team. Everything is going smoothly until she meets her devastatingly handsome new boss. He exudes confidence, power, and raw sex appeal. He’s intense, demanding, a little mysterious, and extremely distracting. With the growing sexual tension between them she’s having trouble concentrating and focusing. She has to stay professional, and can’t risk her career on a fling, but when they find themselves in a situation spending more time together, she realizes her heart may also be at risk.
The Two-Week Arrangement is a sexy, single dad, office romance. It’s book one in the Penthouse Affair series by Kendall Ryan. I really loved this story and can’t wait for the conclusion to Two-Week Arrangement in the next book Seven Nights of Sin!
The Two-Week Arrangement is the deliciously alluring, new novel by Ryan that introduces us to the private, young, intense CEO Dominic and the beautiful, hardworking, intern Presley as they quickly discover the pull of temptation and the power of attraction.
The writing is tantalizing and sassy. The characters are feisty, intriguing, and endearing. And the plot is an entertaining mix of family, friendship, parenthood, light drama, tender moments, sizzling chemistry, sexy innuendoes, witty dialogue, and irresistible heat.
The Two-Week Arrangement is without a doubt a spicy, heartwarming, teasing start to Dominic and Presley’s story that has left me not so patiently waiting for the release of Seven Nights of Sin, publishing June 25, 2019, to discover whether this plus-one, no-strings arrangement actually turns into the steamy, swoon-worthy, happy-ever-after ending I’m hoping for.
Thank you to Kendall Ryan for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Can I just say money grab. First of all it should be made clear that this book is only part 1 of who knows how many. What bothers me is that there's no mention of that when you purchase the book. Had I known that I wouldn't of bought it. I HATE reading incomplete stories. I probably would still read it but only when all the parts had been published. Now I'm just irritated and will be reluctant to read more from the author. Also there's no reason why this book needs more then 1. It's a short read so she really could've made it one complete book. Again MONEY GRAB. I dont appreciate that.
I love all Kendall's books so much but this one is my favorite and I can't wait to read the second book "Seven Nights of Sin" from this series 😍❤!
This book was so good that once I've started reading I couldn't stop 📖😳.
I hadn't read many single-dad books yet, but I think it would be become my new favorite trope because Dominic is a really amazing dad to his two little girls that you must fall in love with him and his relationship with them 👶😍.
From other side, Presley is young woman who does everything to help her little brother to makes his dreams come true 🤗.
Dominic and Presley are so adorable like a couple and I hope so they will be together in the next book ❤❤❤.
Thank you so much, Kendall, to write a story like this and take my reality with them ❤!
A sexy adventure of a smart and determined to succeed intern and the CEO that holds the key to her accomplishments.
The Two Week Arrangement centers around Presley ?, a fresh out of college graduate who wants to make it big in the hospitality industry and is given the chance to prove her worth through an internship under the tutelage of the mysterious billionaire CEO Dominic. The man is too much everything. Too smart, too handsome, too tempting for Presley’s own good, and when he asks her to be his fake girlfriend to impress a potential investor for a couple of weeks, she finds it impossible to refuse. After a couple of fake dates their attraction is too hard to hide, but will the secrets they’re keeping doom their relationship before it even starts?
The chemistry between Presley and Dominic is palpable and off the charts from the start and their work relationship paves the way for a natural rapport to develop and fuel their attraction. There’s a lot more to Dominic than meets the eye. Rumors about him paying for sex fly around and because of his past his distrust comes naturally. I can’t wait to see how his and Presley’s relationship develops in the next installment after secrets have been revealed and trust has been shattered.
The Two Week Arrangement is book #1 of the Penthouse Affair duet by Kendall Ryan. It’s a forbidden office romance, told from both points of view with a cliffhanger.
This is a really cute read. A boss/employee set up between a billionaire who also happens to be a single father, and a smart and sassy heroine determined to make her way in the world. It’s short, sweet and sexy, and it’s the first in a duet so beware cliffhanger, and I really enjoyed it.
Presley has just landed a position as an intern at a prestigious hotel chain. It’s a three-month unpaid internship, but it could lead to the job of her dreams, giving her not only the stability that she craves, but with a younger brother to support, she needs all of the money she can get!
Dominic Aspen is the billionaire CEO of the Aspen Hotel chain, and from the moment he lays eyes on his new intern, he knows he is in trouble. She’s gorgeous, intelligent and hardworking, and he wants her, but he knows he can’t have her. As a 26-year-old single man with twin toddlers at home, he keeps his private life strictly private, and completely separate from his work. When he needs a date, he hires an escort, and he has no interest in women or relationships.
Sparks fly between these two. Presley thinks Dominic is the sexiest thing she’s ever laid eyes on, and working closely with him day to day proves to be a challenge to her poor, neglected libido. But she’s determined to nail her internship, which is why when Dominic needs a ‘date’ for a business meeting, she agrees to help him out. But when that one meeting turns into a longer arrangement, everything is going to change.
It’s a fun set-up with some of my favourite tropes – single dad, boss/employee, fake romance – and I loved watching Presley and Dominic navigate their mad chemistry. Presley is a great heroine who is smart and relatable, and Dominic is just gorgeous as the devoted Dad struggling to find the balance between work and family
They have some great banter and the sexual tension is fantastic as Presley and Dominic fight their ever-growing attraction, leading to all kinds of fireworks when they finally get it on, but all the rules begin to change as feelings become involved, and with a devastating twist leading to a nasty cliffhanger, I can’t wait to get my hands on the sequel, Seven Nights of Sin.
I listened to this as an audiobook, narrated by two of my faves – Jacob Morgan and Andie Arndt – and they do a great job as always. I’ll definitely be listening to the next one!
3.5 Oh, The Trouble We Get Into Stars * * * 1/2 Spoiler Free Kendall Ryan writes a helluva blurb. She teases, taunts and gives you just enough to cause the brain to connect with the hand on the mouse...causing the click desire. It got me and with all the mental images of what I was going to experience through this tale, I could not resist.
Ms. Ryan gave us a young woman who has goals. Presley Harper also has been looking out and supporting her brother's dream. When she is chosen out of many to intern for the one company she dreamed of, she takes it. No pay, no problem...Ramein/peanut butter sandwiches will do. Then she finds out her brother qualified for a prestigious program, too. Great but it costs. Well, she is inventive and will figure things out.
Dominic Aspen has figured out how to balance his life. He is the young, wealthy owner /CEO of the Aspen Hotel chain. Think top of the line, 1000 thread count sheets, etc. International and Expensive. He juggles all of the demands of the position and does not do relationships. If he is going to have any female companionship, it is usually tied to an event for the hotel or a charity he has to attend. If he uses women who know there is no future, all the better.
What his other side of life entails is the devotion and love of his twin toddlers. These are the only females who have wrapped him around their chubby little fingers. He has kept this part of his life from the public, no Instagram pictures, no articles or PR as to how he is the ultimate single dad.
When Presley is in the conference room with all of the other interns fighting for the same spot at the end of the summer, she settles herself to get her game face on. The competition is fierce. But so is she. Then he walks in and Presley knows if she gets placed with Dominic's office, it will be a gift and a curse.
A gift because working with the CEO and having him see how determined and knowledgable she can be...could lock down the open position. A curse because this man is like he just walked out of a cologne ad, all suited up, with those piercing eyes and sculpted body. Working next to that is going to be a real challenge.
It seems the challenge is not just Presley's as Dom is very taken by Presley and is not used to not acting on what he wants.
Well, as things would happen...A situation causes Dom to ask Presley to help him out with a situation which is part of a huge business meeting. It is important and he really needs Presley to attend. He makes her an offer she cannot refuse...
And oh, my my...the professional practices both attempted to live by....UP IN SMOKE...
For those who love Ryan books, for those who love office romances, for those who love single dads...it is all there. The only thing I will tell you...Be Prepared as it has a CLIFFY.
Good News, the next part is coming June 25th, 2019
~~~~~ Before Reading ~~~~~ Everything is Not Always What it Seems... Oh, the man this Intern is Assisting is... Definitely Rich... Massively Powerful... And Hot as Hell...
But he is also Something Else, too... Would you be surprised to know... He is the totally Devoted Daddy to Twins... Yup, Twin Toddlers, no less...
Oh, and when he is Intense and Staring at you, Ms. Intern... He is taking in all the Chemistry Pinballing back and forth between you... He has All Kinds of Ideas when it comes to You...
He is Bidding his time... Waiting for the right move... Because he has something specific in mind...
What you may ask... Why Something Very Special... You could call it...
Book had potential but seemed phoned in...decisions by both H and h were made so fast and not realistic. It's like author just wanted to get to point B which was a lame cliffhanger. This intern who had so much going for her smart wise could make some serious bad decisions or mistakes.
The fact that author cuts and pasted this ever running need for money for her apparently "helpless" brother bothered me also. She calls him and he's at a party and can't talk. She's working two jobs and sleeping on friends couch!!!
I've read many by this Author but will think harder before another.
PS. She should run right to HR. Domenic is a jerk.
A rich possessive-broken-playboy-alpha gets into a two week arrangement with his secretary/bestfriend/inneedofmoney/nemesis who is actually one hell of beauty *Wink
I am so upset with myself that I didn’t realise this book wasn’t a standalone in the series. Nevertheless, I wasn’t not thrilled. The story had a fast pace but the romance (if any) was slow burn. The chemistry between Presley and Dominic was lacking and their behaviour didn’t match their age accordingly.
~ 5 Intern Stars ~
The Two Week Arrangement is a sexy and entertaining start to Dominic and Presley’s story.
I love me some Kendall Ryan books. Her books always suck me in and I love the characters she introduces us to. I think Dominic and Presley are some of my all time favorites of Kendall’s.
Presley is the type of heroine I love. She is kind, sweet, loving and knows how to stand her ground. She is also a hard working woman who is helping to provide for her brother. Dominic is a Hero everyone will fall for. He is grumpy, domineering and very rich, but has such a sweet and soft side, when he decides to show it.
He is the type of person who likes to keep his professional life and personal life completely separate. That is until his new intern comes for a 3 month internship with his company. Then the lines get a little blurry.
The Two Week Arrangement is NOT a standalone novel. It is the first book in Kendall’s Penthouse Affair Duet. This book is told in Dual POV and ends with a cliffhanger. I know I am DYING to read the next book. I need to see where she takes these characters. I thought the flow and pace of the story worked well. This is a fairly quick read, but it is lacking for nothing.
Another great book by Kendall Ryan. I would highly recommend this duet to romance readers. If you are already a fan of kendall’s books, you don’t want to miss this book. If you have never read anything by Kendall, this is the perfect place to start. Trust me once you read one book by this author, you will want to read them all!!!!
It's my first DNF for Kendall Ryan. I've liked every book I've read from her until now. This story wasn't sexy to me yet it's advertised as sexy all over the place. I just didn't like it. I was okay with Dominic, not okay with Presley, and bored.
The Two-Week Arrangement is the new read by Kendall Ryan that introduces her readers to CEO Dominic and intern Presley as they discover the allure of temptation and the power of attraction. Dominic is intense and powerful yet young to be a CEO. He is clearly an alpha male and does nothing but works all the time; his word is law. He thinks everything is fine in his world and at his company until he meets the new intern. Presley is sassy, intelligent, beautiful and is working to take care of herself and her brother. Without giving too much information about the story away, know that you have to read their red- hot romance for yourself and you will find this book deliciously awesome! Dominic and Presley’s story is one you have to read for yourself , one that you appreciate and has you wanting more. I enjoyed reading this book and I don't want to spoil a moment of the story. I can't wait for what's next!
“One touch, and I’m pretty much putty in his hands. One whispered promise, and I’m done for.”
Two-Week Arrangement is a fun and unconventional office romance. Two-Week Arrangement follows the story of Dominic and Presley. Dominic is the powerful and wealthy CEO. He’s so busy with his home life and professional life that dating has become a thing of the past. But, what you don’t know about Dominic is that he’s got a secret. You see, he’s not just a powerful CEO, he’s also a single dad. He’d do anything for his kids, even if it means keeping them a secret from the one person he’s come to care about….
Two-Week Arrangement was a fun and easy read. Dominic and Presley’s story pulled me in from page one and I couldn’t help but fall in love with the pace of this story. The pace was fast, easy and compelled you to read this story in just a single sitting.
I was instantly intrigued by Presley and Dominic. Presley would do anything, take any job to provide for her family. She has a big heart and isn’t afraid of working hard. And then we have Dominic. Dominic could have any woman he wants and has more money than even he knows what to do with. Together, these two make the most unexpected team. Neither one of them were looking for love and maybe just maybe they might have found it when they were least expecting it. The road to happily ever after is a bumpy one for these two and when secrets and misunderstandings come into play, all bets are off…..
Overall, I had a really good time getting swept up in Dominic & Presley’s story. Two-Week Arrangement was entertaining, fun and steamy. There was some drama and a few good twists along the way. And the ending….The ending I did not see coming at all and I promise you, it will leave you dying for more. I for one can not wait to see what will happen next!
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
The Two Week Arrangement is a quick and fun read, and it is one that will give you all of the feels.
Presley Harper is a smart, determined, hard-working woman who is trying to get her career off the ground. All the while supporting her younger brother as he finishes with school. Struggling to make ends meet, she is excited to learn she was selected for a prestigious internship with Aspen Hotels. The only issue being that it's unpaid, so she will have to prove herself to get hired on full-time.
Dominic Aspen is the sexy, confident and wealthy CEO of Aspen Hotels. Between running his own company and being a single dad to twin girls, he doesn't have much time for anything else. Certainly not a relationship seeing as how the last one didn’t work out. But there is more to him than meets the eye. His protectiveness over his girls, the protectiveness of his own heart and the little things he does that show he is a character with heart.
The chemistry between these two was instant and completely off the charts. But with him being her boss, they both decide it's best not to act on these feelings. Of course this doesn't prove to be real easy. When his date to a lucrative dinner meeting bails on him, he asks Presley if she will step in. One successful meeting leads to another, and the two of them end up spending a lot of time together. How long will they be able to fight this strong pull between them?
This was a fantastic novel and a great start to this new duet! It was sexy, smart and entertaining with wonderful characters that pull you right into the story. The sexual tension between the two leads was absolutely fiery and perfectly balanced this slow-burn romance. And that ending? Talk about leaving you hanging. Gah! I can't wait for the conclusion to this story in Seven Nights of Sin!
I really enjoyed this book than got mad when I realized it was part of a series but happy again when I saw the next book was out end of month. LOL
Presley Harper has a lot on her plate, graduating college, working two jobs, paying for her brothers schooling and bills. After her brother came out as gay and his desire to do ballet, their father disowned him. She has made it her goal to be their for him. So this dream internship, unpaid, yikes, could lead to her dream job as a junior executive for the worlds top hotel chain. Only problem is....
Dominic Aspen, young billionaire boss, who inherited the hotels when his dad passed. When he becomes her mentor. He is easy on the eyes and she seems to say double entendre things to him. When a 'date' cancels last minute, he asks her to accompany him and then the real issues arise....
I love the characters, the storyline, and the little twist given so far.... can not wait for book 2
Kendall always gives us a read that draws you in and holds you hostage with the alluring and seductive story that unfolds. That was definitely this book! Dom is the sexy as sin CEO of Aspen Hotels with a well hidden secret and Presley is the sweet, beautiful intern who catches his eye and breaks down his walls. Dom protects his personal life from all and NEVER lets anyone in until Presley. What happens when the one person you thought you could trust betrays you, or so you think? What happens when you get to the end of the story and realize you are left hanging.... you continuously swipe trying to get to the next page because there's no way it can just end like that..... damn it, it does...I NEED the next book now and so will you!!!
You all are going to go absolutely CRAZY for Dominic Aspen! Who doesn't love a scorching HOT office romance that includes a gorgeous, grumpy, and stubborn ALPHA hero?! And Presley, our heroine, don’t worry about her. She can definitely hold her own when it comes to Dominic. Dom’s world revolves around his two beautiful little girls. That is until Presley comes into the picture. She becomes the one thing he doesn’t need in his life...a sweet and sexy distraction. The arrangement was meant to set boundaries, draw lines, and make intentions clear. It wasn't supposed to bring them closer. It wasn’t meant to push boundaries, cross lines, or expose secrets. But that's exactly what happened...now, there is no going back.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 is book one in Kendall Ryan’s 𝙋𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧 series and Dominic and Presley’s blistering romance concludes with 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐢𝐧, releasing June 25th.
I am speechless!!! I have never wanted to read a book more than the next book in the series. Holy cliffhanger! This book keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes you wanting more. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next installment in this series. This book is fan-freakingtastic!!!
Not only was it boring, and a cliffhanger, but the leading lady makes every irrational mistaken decision she possibly can. To balance out her poor behavior, the leading man is barely likable, and treats her like a prostitute, for which she returns again and again.
Not exactly sure how this mess could be turned around, but I don’t care about the characters enough to want to bother.
I’ve read series before and couldn’t wait for the next book. But, with this one, I have no issues walking away.
This was a single dad/office romance book. Dom is the father to twin girls and I love how he is with them. He is all business in the office but when he gets home, his girls are his life. When he meets Presley, there is an attraction that is hard to fight and you can feel it coming off the pages. The sexual tension and the chemistry between them was breathtaking and beautifully written. I need the second book now. I have to know what happens to Dom and Presley.
Oh I love me a kendall ryan romance story so I know this is going to be another sweep you off your feet romance. I love how kendall catches you in the first few pages off reading she is a great author.
