Violet Spencer and Cooper Reid were high school sweethearts, separated by the people who they were supposed to trust the most. Four years later, Violet has recently finished college and Cooper is now a huge pop star. While both are letting loose in Las Vegas they find each other in a crowded bar. With their connection still burning red hot, they decide to make their union official and forever. But the thing standing in their way aren't the tabloids, it's their meddling mothers willing to do almost anything to break them apart again. Will their history and their love, along with their one special treasured bond be enough to win this time?
I Found You really amazed me from beginning to end! I devoured this book about four times already because that’s how much I’m in love with it! ❤️
It tugs at your heart.
It’s a story about... A love beginning, growing, adventurous, fun. A love being lost, but never completely fading. And a love found once again, reconnecting the two main characters with that same burning love, passion, fun that they shared. It never went away, even after how many years, which is so evident!
A true second chance romance! And I love those type of stories!
Erica really has a way of evoking so much emotion through her writing!!
****
“He’s the center of my universe and I’m seconds away from telling him news that will destroy our perfect bubble.” - Violet Spencer
Loss, anger, heartbreak, separation, meddling mothers, continuing to move forward in life without all the answers, and still being in love with the person you’ve been living without for years.
****
“There was never a moment you didn’t have my heart even when we were apart.” - Cooper Reid
Finding that love, your love again. Undeniable connection, spontaneous moments, promises that are kept, so much love and happiness with the person you never stopped loving, and never gave up on.
****
These two... I couldn’t help but fall in love with them, their journey, their love! It’s so captivating. And Cooper is absolutely swoon worthy. His songs?!? Totally about her! 🔥🔥
“True love always has a way of finding you again.”
❤️ VOLUMES. ❤️
This story roars volumes! Erica spoke straight into my heart!
I Found You is intriguing, compelling, everything you want and more! Once you start the first page... you wouldn’t want to put the book down until you get to the very last page! It’s different from any book I’ve read before!!
I cannot wait to see what Erica has in store for the future! She always blows my mind with every story she comes out with! 💗💗💗
Violet and Cooper... where do I even begin with these two. They are Spunky, Rebellious, Adventurous and Hormonal Teenagers lol, so all the smut lovers watch out. When they meet four years later in Vegas they are still very much the same Spontaneous and Risk seeking kids only a bit mature as Coop is now a Famous musician and Vi has finished college and finally out of her Meddling and Nosy mother's shadow. You would guess no harm can come their way now that are re-united and married right? But guess what the Monster-in-law strikes. If these two are full of Life and Fun their mothers are full of Hatred, Loathing and all that's Evil. They stop at nothing to separate the love birds but when Love is real it always finds a way back. And that's what Ace and Cooper get because they deserve nothing less.
This book such an beautiful escape from the harsh realities of life and made me forget about all my worries even if its for only a couple of hours. I loved how Erica planned the chapters with a little peek into the past before every chapter. It showed they are still the same spunky couple they were before the shit hit the fan 4 years ago.
I always love when I discover a new-to-me author, especially one that writes so dang good, I want to read everything they've written. After reading the blurb for I Found You, I thought it sounded like a pretty good second-chance romance. Let me tell you, I absorbed the words from the pages. The writing is phenomenal!
Though Violet and Cooper's story is a bit long, I flew through the pages, living each emotional up and down that those two were faced with. And the bit with their mothers gave this story so much depth that others in the same genre lack. It wasn't an easy journey for Violet and Cooper but it was worth it in the long run. So much feeling and emotion came out of this story and I'm so glad that I stumbled across it. Erica Marselas deserves five shiny stars for this one because it's full of heart and soul.
Definitely one of those stories that grips you right in the heart, but in oh such a great way!
I had the pleasure of receiving and ARC and story is wonderful, just enough touch of drama, love teenage love and sex. It was beautifully written. Violet and Coopers story is a dream come true. They defied the odds against their mothers and the saying true love always wins is true in the story shows it. I don’t want say anymore because I go on for hours and still not say enough about this book! Everyone just needs to READ READ READ it!!!!
Wow, this is my first book written by Erica and it is such a great book! Violet and Cooper were high school sweethearts but due to lies and betrayals they were separated and forced to move on from one another. Four years later they run into each other in Las Vegas and they realize that the feelings they had for each other are still there. As they navigate and figure out what happened in the past they find out the people who are supposed to love them unconditionally are the ones responsible for their devastation and heartbreak.
I love the characters. Both have loved each other for so long, and even during their time apart they could never truly move on. Violet has always supported Cooper’s dreams and it breaks her heart even more knowing that she is not at his side sharing the life she thought they would have together. Cooper is successful and has achieved everything he wanted, but it doesn’t erase the pain and heartache of not having his one true love in his life. When they see each other again four years later, their feelings come rushing back and can’t be ignored. Even though they were young when they fell in love, you can feel how much they truly love each other and that they are meant to be. They would do anything for one another and vow to never let anyone tear them apart again.
I love second chance romances and this book showed so many emotions – anger, resentment, heartbreak, hope, and forgiveness. I am hoping there are more books to come, with Cooper’s brother Brody and Violet’s friends, Alexa and Julie. I am glad I found a new author and I will definitely be reading more of her books!
Violet and Cooper met in High School, and they knew then, that they were meant for each other. However, right before graduation, they were separated by the people who were supposed to love them the most, and for 4 years, these people continued to keep them apart. But neither got over the other, and fate decided to step in after Cooper is a big pop star, and Violet just graduated college, so they come face to face in Vegas when both are taking some time off. And it was like they were never apart, so they made it official finally. But those forces that kept them apart for so long, aren't happy about this new turn of events, and will do whatever it takes to break them up for good this time. I Found You was such an emotional journey, and I'm not just talking about that angsty feeling, but the happy, angry, and just straight up puddle on the floor feels going on throughout. I absolutely LOVED Cooper & Violet, and was so glad that when they came face to face, it was like those 4 years had never happened. And most of the cast of secondaries were highly entertaining, which added a lot of humor to the mix. There were a couple that were just bad, so had to call them colorful metaphors throughout. Plus there were a few twists that I didn't see coming, which had me dropping some f-bombs, and not all of them were bad either. This was my first Erica Marselas book, and I fell in love with her talented writing style, as she had me completely engrossed in this story from beginning to end. Not to mention, I loved how she put a piece of their past in front of each chapter! I cannot wait to read more by her in the future, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
They found each other after four long years and connected instantly. Thats because they're soulmates who were forced apart by their mothers. Once back, our sexy couple dont, wont, can't stop at their hot intimacies. It is so hot! Cooper and Violet's love for each other is so deep and strong. The second time around, their mothers wasted no time to ruin them again but don't succeed. I love IFY very much. Laughed, cried and lots of frustrations with their extremely infuriating mothers. Brody, Alexa and Julie are the best support they can ever find. Love the twins' names. The songs are wonderful. Thank you for the fabulous book, Erica. Looking out for your next. Xoxo daytona
If two people are meant to be together nothing can stand in their way... I love this sentiment. Through a series of miscommunications (and some crazy mothers trying to rip them apart) Violet and Cooper are forced to end their relationship early on. Years later they reconnect, sparks flying the instant they see each other as if they'd never been apart. Cue hearts in eyes. Violet and Cooper's story has elements of all the best love stories: passion, devotion, and of course someone/something trying to rip them apart. Watching them navigate through their obstacles is truly amazing, knowing that once they found each other again, nothing could keep them apart. Five stars! :)
I was amazed by this book! I couldn't put it down, stayed up all night just to finish it. I was totally captivated by Cooper and Violet's story. Their love, pain and joy. The characters were developed so well I really felt like I was right there with them through their journey.
Vi and Coop met in high school, dated for 2 years despite all the he*l their Mother's put them through, their mother's finally get what they want after years. So when Vi and Coop run into each other in Vegas 4 years later, all their love and chemistry is off the flipping charts! But will.their mother's try and keep them apart again??
Y'all have got to read this! It is a true second chance romance!
Every book just gets better and better! I LOVED Violet and Cooper's story. The glimpses of their relationship before they were separated from each other tie in beautifully to their current story after they find each other and make good on the promise they made when they were last together. The spark was still there for them after 4 years and they sure did make up for lost time in the hottest ways. Their journey is far from easy and at times heartbreaking but it is an excellent telling of love that was lost, found and tested by outside forces.
I was lucky to receive an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I can honestly say I loved every minute of it. You absolutely cannot help falling in love with Coop & Vi. This is a story about true love, heartbreaking loss & beating the odds together. I loved the flashback glimpses into their past & the events that cemented the foundation of their love. With mother’s like theirs who needs enemies?! If they can survive those women they can survive anything. I’ve read (& loved) everything by this author both published & fanfic & I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!
I love a good second chance romance! This book is about love and what it takes to make it work. There are always so many factors that can get in the way . When violet and Cooper fall for each other they fall hard, but do to meddling out side forces and lies they are separated. This book takes you from the beginning to where they meet up again years later in Vegas... They find they are still in love! This author was new to me and she pulled me in and I couldn't put this book down. Well written, beautiful characters and a love story you won't forget!
This was a sweet second chance romance that was little on angst but big on romance. Imagine after years of being apart from your true love only to find each other again and the sparks are still there. That is what Violet and Cooper discover while in Vegas. Violet always wondered what her life would be like if only she and Cooper could have worked out. Cooper has the fame and success but without Violet's love its all empty. These characters were fun to read and their story lingered in my mind even after I was finished reading. I love when characters get their second chance at love.
A great easy to read second chance romance! After 4 years the chemistry between Cooper and Violet is through the roof! It has drama but not enough to make you lose interest. They have to learn to fight their battles together in order to come out on top! It has sweet, sexy, sad, and dramatic moments all the things you look for in a great book!! I can't wait to see what else Erica has in store for us!
I found you was a beautiful book about second chances and new beginnings. Cooper and Violet went through a lot at such a young age. Between their mother’s not wanting them together, and life experiences getting in their way. They proved that once you find “the one” nothing can stand in your way. You fight together for what matters and who you love. Would love to read what happens with the other characters. Received an arc for a honest review. I loved the book will recommend it.

Great storyline! At first I didn’t like the back and forth between past and present, but it needed to be told that way so the storyline would make sense. I sure hope Brody get a story. Highly recommend this book
I loved this book! Especially the brother banter between Cooper and Brody. I laughed out loud many times, and shed a few tears. Violet and Cooper’s love story battled each other’s insecurities and their meddling mothers. Great job!
I am so mad at myself for not reading this book sooner this book was amazing I loved how the past and present was played out it .Copper and Violet I loved them so much they were amazing,Brody was so funny.

I loved this book..I could not put it down. I finished it in 5-6 hours today. Cant wait to read more from this author..thanks again for the chance to read it. Keep them coming.K
I loved this book. What a great love story. I wanted to slap Violet's mom so badly throughout this story. I hope Brody and Alexa stay together and get their HEA.
ARC generously provided in return for this review.
Once again, Erica Marselas blows my mind. The story of love, loss, heartbreak and second chances had my heart bursting within the first pages.
Violet Spencer and Cooper Reid, two high school sweethearts on the path to greatness together, are torn apart by the people who are meant to love them more than anything. Four years and a world apart, the star-crossed lovers once again intertwine in passion, romance and Elvis. Their spark is immediate and it draws you completely in.
The intricate way Erica has woven flashbacks into this story is unlike anything I've read before, and it's like foreshadowing what's to come as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the little flashes into their lives before they parted and what drove them to be apart for so long.
I've got to mention the love I have for Brody here as well. Cooper's brother, and his best friend. Cooper's always been protective of him, and you'll have to read to find out why, but it's heartwarming and made me cry when I first read it.
Their relationships with their friends are more like you'd expect from a family, which is exactly what Vi and Coop needed, but weren't getting from their own flesh and blood (well, apart from her dad and his grandfather). Mothers really are the worst, aren't they?
I read this ARC at least three times before I could truly process everything I was reading. Even then, after the third (and soon to be fourth) time, I was still falling farther in love with Cooper and Vi, with Alexa and Brody, with Dustin. I didn't want to complete the story, and I hope Erica continues exploring the relationships within this close-knit family all of their own.
There's comedy, romance, happiness, sorrow, loss, heartbreak, trust, anger... all the emotions on the radar for this captivating read. Highly recommend!
Do you love to read about true love winning amidst heartache??? manipulative family members??? This is the story for you!!
Violet Harper is a quiet shy girl who is being harassed by a free fellow student member who finally gets her alone and threatens her harm...along comes her knight is shining armour, Cooper Reid. Cooper is known to be a troubled boy, but he wants to be a musician more than anything in the world. He saves Violet and they feel a connection from the first moment. One that anyone around them can not deny.
Unfortunately, Violets mom only cares about herself and finds a way to make sure Coopers family dislikes Violet ad much as she dislikes Cooper. Coopers parents want him to go to Princeton and become a lawyer and think Violet is bringing him down, with no help from Violets mother.
But, theor love still goes on and they are inseparable even amongst heartache. Until one day when Violet returns from an amazing weekend with Cooper to find she is being uprooted from her life and moving to another state. Can their love survive the distance?
A few years later, Violet is with her friends when a trip to Vegas is suggested. They all agree and go to clear their minds since they all graduated from college. A few states away, Coopers brother suggests a trip to Vegas since his band is on some downtime. What are the odds they are at the same club at the same time in the same state, but it happened and once Violet makes the move to see if he remembers her... things will never be the same. It's like they were never separated for 4yrs. They pick up right where they left off and make a decision that will notnk ly change their lives but those around them.
The story follows both their time In high school as well as when the reconnect and you get to see what happened and who did what?
Life has a funny way if making those around you see things differently.
This story is amazing and am soo glad I got to read it and look forward to more of Erica's stories.

Loved this story about ever lasting young love. The flashbacks really helped tell their story. The back story in the flashbacks knitted the story together and showed why even four years later their love survived. I highly recommend this book to anyone needing a feel good read.
I LOVE second chance romances and I Found You delivered in spades! It has the right amount of sweetness, steamy scenes, and angst. It's truly a feel-good story you don't want to miss. Although, you might want to throw your kindle at their meddling mothers.
I Found You by Erica Marsales was such a beautiful book that gave you love, loss, second chance and fate. I devoured this book in one sitting. The character were likable and had a roller coaster of a relationship.
Wow, the Mothers were truly awful. A sweet story of love with a lot of steam!! Violet is so strong, I loved the characters! Hopefully there will be a sequel of Brody!!
