I’m into double figures when it comes to the number of books I’ve read by Amy Andrews and me being the lover I am of small town romances, I was looking forward to this.

description Was there such a thing as farmer porn?”

Sexy former NFL players/farmers can only bring joy to the world as can independent sassy women and Nothing but Trouble brings us that but it didn’t hit the heights I was hoping for. The storyline in general was sound enough with a fun bunch of characters, however I have to be honest, yo

Huge Amy Andrews fan. She has given me happy reading times. This had all the elements of humor, banter, and a HEA.

A Cocky Football Stars takes his personal assistant sort of for granted. She has worked with him for years and knows the drill. She takes no crap from him and calls him out when he needs it.

But the time has come and she gives her notice.

Unfortunately, the guy's dad has a heart attack and that changes eve

Charming, engaging, and fun!

Nothing But Trouble is a passionate, workplace romance that introduces the hardworking, fiery CC, a young woman dedicated to her job but ready to head out on her own and start anew, and the confident, magnetic Wade, whose past has left him wary of the idea of forever and not too eager to risk his heart once again.

The writing is amusing and light. The characters, including all the supporting characters, are gregarious, spirited and lovable. And the plot sweeps you away

After reading this one it feels weird that I was able to actually finish this the whole way through and not pick it apart and go off the deep end when some of my major pet peeves reared their ugly heads. I feel like I should treat myself for not automatically hating this one, lol. I surprised myself by actually liking this one as much as I did so kudos to the author for making two really likable characters.

So this book is something outside my comfort zone. I don’t usually like reading about sta
Rarely do you find a romance with so many amazing characters, right after I finished Nothing But Trouble my mind started contemplating whose story I'd want to hear next...

Amy Andrews emotionally invested me, the reader. She masterfully pulled me through the gambit emotions following the CC's and Wade's rocking relationship while keeping us completely loving their surrounding cast! She even managed taking an very unlikable, self centered, star and turned him into the perfect guy for CC.

Four and half stars.

CC Morgan has worked for self-centred former Broncos quarterback Wade Carter for nearly six years. Six years of 24/7 catering to his frankly scary Nerds addiction, buying him condoms at 3am, sending flowers to all the women he breaks up, consoling all the women he breaks up with (because heaven forfend he gives women his own cellphone number). Then just as she is about to hand in her notice Wade's father has a heart attack and Wade decides to move from Denver back to the fami

So lucky to read an ARC of this. It's got a Jill Shalvis/SEP vibe and I had a smile on my face all the way through. Loved every minute.

I can truly say Amy Andrews has a knack for giving her characters some wickedly delightful lines! Toss in an occasionally raunchy sense of humor and the next thing I know, it’s past my bedtime and I’m not ready for the book to end! Nothing But Trouble was sweet and hysterical, serious and sassy, and had a wonderful romance. I loved the town of Credence and can’t wait to see what happens with some of the locals.

PA CC has been working for a demanding ex quarterback for years. He works her hard, demanding her to always be on call, doing everything from setting making appointments , buying condoms, and dumping his one night stands. She has a plan, she has saved and it's time to move on and find him a new PA. There is only one problem, Wade does not want to let her go. He finds a way to manipulate her and it leads to a whole new complication.
This was a great read, so much fun. There was so much conflict b

Her boss, former NFL quarterback star Wade "the Catapult" Carter might be retired since three years, but he's still a serial dater and his PA, Cecilia "CC" Morgan, have had enough of having to be available all the time but especially, dealing with the phone calls and complaints of weepy women. She's finally financially comfortable and is about the give her resignation when Wade's father have a health scare. So she put her new start on ice and accept, reluctantly, to follow him to his hometown in ...more

As always Amy knows how to turn up the heat. The book for me had its pros and cons. One of the biggest pros was that the heroine had not been lusting/loving the hero over the past 5 and a half years and after seeing his revolving bedroom like any sane woman had serious doubts over his "fidelity". Our hero Wade was a pro-athlete and obviously a player. The heroine worked for him, basically 24* & and had signed her life away for a hefty paycheck, which would help her realise her dream.

For a while I wanted to give a cowboy romance a shot, but I didn’t know where to start. Then Nothing but Trouble came out, and for some unknown reason, it stood out to me. I guess my subconscious recognized this story as one I would really love, because now Nothing but Trouble is one of my favorite books of 2019, and it is in top three for sure.
I think this book was pure perfection and I am so glad that it’s sequel will come out this year as well.

I think this was more of a me thing. I just don't dig cowboys and the whole cluster of characters introduced in this first novel of a series was too much for my brain to handle. I love Amy's style of writing though so I will definitely check more of her works.

Oh Wade, I don’t even know what to do with you, but I love you and your Nerds. Cece is a perfect heroine and just perfect for this football player cowboy. The family, the town, and the side romance are just magnificent. Can’t wait for more from this new series!

I loved this story about a man-baby ex-quarterback boss and his personal assistant, who is counting the days until she can quit. But fate intervenes in a big way and she finds herself back in his hometown with his family and friends while he writes his bio. Amy Andrew's witty banter topped it all off for me like icing on a perfect cake. The end was so sensational, it had me laughing and crying, both. Excellent read!

Loved this book! I'm not normally a fan of football romance (or sports romance in general) but this is not that at all. Yes, the hero is a retired quarterback and there are some football references, but the story is so much more than that. The small town setting is utterly charming, and I loved how Wade and CC go from business professionals to friends to lovers in a natural way instead of having some long-simmering unrequited lust. They're both flawed but lovable characters who completely stole ...more

So I finally read!! Considering Amy Andrews is one of my favorite authors of all time, it took me a long time to read, not sure why. And may I say, I love our heroines nickname? It's mine too, squee, like damn little girl, lol. Also ~ wait for it ~ I went to high school and college near Denver and I'm a rabid Bronco/John Elway fan!!!! Double squee. Ok, I'm sick of the squee's. But if you like slow burn, small town and really slow to the realization of love Heros, this is your book. And becau ...more
This one was so fantastic! I loved the setup - a former football star & his assistant begin to see one another in a new and different way - its a really good way to lead into the story. It took me a while to warm up to the hero but I loved CC from the first page. But, I loved watching them come to know one another and realize how they feel about each other. I loved the side characters and the world of this story. Fantastic read and I can't wait to see what's coming next in the series.

This a super cute story about an ex football star Wade and his personal assistant, Cecilia or CC for short. I really enjoyed the small town background and all the other characters you'll get just as invested in as these main two. CC is such a strong independent woman who doesn't let Wade get away with anything. And Wade, well I loved his transformation in this book from I'm never loving again to boots over heels in love. The story line was funny, sweet, and a terrific build up to a t

this is my 4th Amy Andrews book - of the 3 i read before this one, i loved 2 and wasn't a huge fan of the other one. the difference between the ones i loved and the one i didn't like was the ones i loved were set in Oz and all Amy's australian-isms came through and i adored it. the one i didn't love had other issues, but i wasn't a huge fan that it was set in america. so when i saw this on netgalley, i immediately wanted to read it but then saw it was set in a

4 Star Review Nothing But Trouble (Credence, Colorado #1) by Amy Andrews
Amy Andrews is a new author to me and I have to ask myself why that is. Cecilia Morgan’s life has been totally focused on the man she works for, former NFL quarterback Wade Carter.

However one can only work for someone for so long and when CC finally hands in her notice he is shocked,; he cannot imagine his life without CC. However all that will have to wait as Wade is heading back to Credence due to his father’ sill health

This is my first book by Amy Andrews and the blrub sounded promising. Plus I like small town romance. I actually liked most of the book Wade and CC were an interesting pair. This had a boss employee romance going on. Wade a famous ex pro NFL player had to go back to his small hometown. He brings his PA to go with for the summer then she can resign. Funny thing is Wade relies on CC alot, CC knows him well and attuned to him. They have a lot of chemistry as their working relationship.

Besides the laugh out loud moments in this book, it is a fabulous sensual romance filled with emotions and joy and yay it is the start of a series, make yourself comfy as you get to know PA Cecilia Morgan known as CC and retired football star Wade Carter as they have an exciting, fun, sensual and moving journey to a HEA that will have your heart fluttering.

CC Morgan is a strong and determined woman, she has five older brothers and knows how to look after herself she is a fabulous PA and very ind

I had a feeling I would like this book but I didn't realize that I would love it. The chemistry between CC and Wade was explosive and you could feel it coming off your kindle.

They have worked side by side for 5 1/2 years and it hasn't crossed their minds to step over the line of professional boundaries. A trip to Wade's hometown changes all of that in the best way possible.

I loved how clueless Wade was. It was glaringly obvious that he was interested in CC but he didn't see her as a woman, she

I love when a story really pulls me into its world and makes me feel all the things. That’s exactly what Nothing But Trouble did. I loved everything about this! There is humor, love, and amazing friendships. From Wade and CC, to all the wonderful people in the town, to the super cute animals, I couldn’t get enough.

I loved meeting CC and Wade, I enjoyed their banter and ease with one another. CC is such a feisty woman, I loved her attitude and determination. I adored Wade and loved watching him g

So CC has been working for Wade for 5 years and she has had enough, enough of working for him 24 hours a day, enough of buying candy and condoms at ridiculous times of the day, enough of having to talk to the woman that he uses as tissue paper. She finally has the money she needs to buy a house and relocate to her dream state California. Unfortunately her plans get derailed when Wade decides to live in his hometown for 3 months to help his father out and he was not happy that she gave her resign ...more

I really, really adored the characters in this book. I went in expecting a cocky stuck up jock who is shown the error in his ways by a girl next door type. Well that wasn’t the case I loved Wade from the beginning and CC was a strong independent woman with sass. And their love story is a great one, one grown over time and did not feel at all forced. Amy Andrews was able to create a really feel good romance without all the mushy gushy stuff and I really loved the book.
