Romance author Laurel Snow has done just fine for herself, thank you very much. Where does her staid, snobby, overly serious editor, John Archer, get off telling her that sex scenes need work, and that they read like she could use some more experience? But fine, if that’s how he feels, she knows her roommate, Will, is more than happy to help her learn a few tricks, and she ...more

More!

I want more of these characters and I need to know what was going through Will's mind after that! That ending was a total cliffhanger! And what about John and Will? There has to be more to them! I need to know! This is just the beginning of a really great story. How many ways can I say I want more? More please!

The sex was good, but there were a few typos and continuity errors that distracted from the content. I also didn’t appreciate the homophobic/biphobic undertones in the first half of the story. While they were addressed I felt like they were unnecessary. All in all a decent for what it is, but I’ve read better.

Short and hot! I liked that Laurel and Archer were book people (he, an editor; she, an author), and that the start of their romance developed because he told her that her newest story needed more sex. I also liked the inclusion of Will, and that ending was cute!

I can’t quite put my finger on why I didn’t love this. I enjoyed The Good Listener by this same author, and even though it was a lot shorter than this one, it felt a lot more developed.

A fun smutty read, without much substance.

Wow, this wasn't for me. I am not the target audience. My friend and I read it for laughs, and we were extraordinarily uncomfortable the entire time.
