Clint Twist has written more than 85 books for U.K. and U.S. publishers in the fields of science, nature, and history, and for readers of all ages. Some of his books include Charles Darwin and the Beagle Adventure, The Mythology Handbook (with Dug Steer), and The Oceanology Handbook.
We read through this while studying the ocean and the critters that live in it. We read 2 or 3 pages a day. Each animal has a short paragraph and a great illustration, almost as good as a photograph. While this obviously doesn't go in depth, the boys really enjoyed learning a little bit about lots of animals and when they showed interested in a particular one we researched it further. They love looking through this as well.
i think this is a book is for people who like ot learn about nonfiction and how creatures eveolved. This helps people discover about animals and shows you many fun facts and how to help learn about the craetures that we barley even known about. This book is a good book for me because I like nonfiction more than i like fiction because nonfiction is about the world and how it can help you but fiction is not real and i find it not interesting.
