Love spells, murder, revenge and freedom
Another good read. Although the book has plenty of magic and witches they aren't, probably, like other witches you've read about. Each witch has her own speciality and there's no spells as such or wand work in the book. The characters however are as normal as normal can be but with just a little bit extra.
The witches market is off to a great start and she's hoping that one of the nominee's will give her the blue lightening that she needs to release Jason from the tree. However things start going pear shaped when someone starts spring drinks with a love spell at the meet and greet drinks event. Then to top it off she finds a dead body and a badly injured one. Now the race is on as to who is responsible. Working with her uncle she tries to piece the little information she can find. Another death and things start getting critical. Can she find the killer? Will she find out the motive? Will she get the blue lightening and will it work? Will the love spell spoil any lives?

A Truly Amazing Read!
Just when I thought the series couldn't get better, it did!.I thoroughly enjoy writers who come up with unique storylines and Manning Nell has done just that. The storylines are very different but absolutely fun to read. I find it hard to out the book down and want to immediately begin the next. Looking forward to Madrid's next adventure!

Revenge can cause you pain
I enjoy the series getting to know each of the characters and learning more about them. Good read can not wait to read next one

This is the second book of the series. I pick up this book to get some answers from the first book. I did get the answers I was looking for. The books do not end in a cliff hanger and the characters are likeable enough.

I år hålls Spring Equinox Market i Silver Moon Falls och Maddie Goodcharm hoppas att den välkända häxan Aberdeen Zabala ska hjälpa henne att äntligen få loss Jason från trädet Old Gnarley. Där hon råkade trolla in honom av misstag när hon övade på att få till blixtar. Men ett par mord, mordförsök och kärleksdrycker kommer i vägen. Maddies morbror sheriffen ber henne lyssna runt, vilket hon tolkar som "hjälp mig utreda fallet".
