The synopsis for this book hooked me from the start and had me diving into the words.
The beginning introduced several characters all at once, and seemed a bit confusing as they all talked and got reaquainted with one another. There was a lot of dialogue and I didn't really have a good vision of who everyone was quite yet, which made it a bit difficult to envision. It was also tough at times to tell who was talking.

This was my first read by L. Salt and she offers a fantastic peek at life in Russia. You follow a bunch of friends on a journey of love, loss and everything in between. Salt has such a descriptive and unique way of telling this story. Some parts did seem to move a bit slower than I would have liked, but overall I did enjoy this and look forward to the next one.

L. Salt gives us a fantastic view of the life in Russia. The story revolved around a set of friends their relationship and sorrows. The journey of new love and returning loves. If you like books about different places and different culture's L. Salt is the author to read.
