There hasn’t been a Shannon McCrimmon book I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed and this one is no exception. I fell in love with Tripp and BB. It took a little bit for me to fall for Mellie but I did eventually. She was a tough nut to crack. So argumentative and in a shell.

Tripp is a great guy. He is trying to experience life after so long in the shadows of the past. He went on from what happened to him but it is always there. He was homeschooled and now wants a chance to experience school, friends an

Recommends it for: Everyone!
Shelves: coming-of-age
I know that any book Shannon McCrimmon writes is going to be thoughtful and well-developed. There are never any plot holes and the books are always immaculately edited. I am certain it will make me chuckle while also tugging at my heartstrings. This author has never disappointed me. An easy one-click without thinking twice. In my opinion, this was her best work yet.

Confessions of an Organ Donor is a work of art. It hooked me from page one. Readers say that all the time, but I really mean it. Tri

Once again I didn’t want to stop reading once I started.....Shannon’s books do give me that problem.

This was a lovely coming of age story that touches your heart and makes you smile. The delightful characters don’t take time to grow on you, they come fully loaded and ready to bring you magical memories of growing up and adventures.

Most people dream to escape the boring everyday high school life, but Trip wants to jump right into it after years of being away from his peers. High school is hard

You know when your instincts tell you to run for the hills? Yeah, that's what mine told me when I met her. But I still got sucked into her like a vortex. Bad pun, but Millicent is like that: she lures you in. You want to breathe the air she's breathing. Maybe being the most gorgeous, yet bizarre girl I've ever met has something to do with it. All I know is I wouldn't be sitting here with two trigger-finger cops if it weren't for her.

I am sitting here going over and over in my mind what I wa

I've read every book by Shannon McCrimmon and yet she continues to amaze me with each book. Confessions of an Organ Donor is no different. The book is basically about a road trip and what happens on that trip. Trip, a boy who lost his leg (you find out why towards the end and that story...I'm emotional still!). Millicent, the feminist who is one of the few people who doesn't judge Trip about his leg. And BB. I love BB. He's such a loveable character who forgets easily and loves to eat. These 3 c ...more
