I enjoy children's stories that utilize sounds and noise to great effect- l
Watercolor and ink illustrations complement a sweet story showing how two siblings spend a rainy day. After getting all geared up for the rainy weather, they venture out into nature where they observe worms and ducks and splash in the mud. children's picture book (toddler/preschool)
large pages w/brief text full of action and sound words, still a tiny bit too long for my wiggly baby/toddler group to sit through.
Fun onomatopoetic words sprinkled throughout and sweet watercolor illustrations make for a nice addition to the pool of "rainy day" books.

A great book about all the fun activities you can do in the rain. I really enjoyed the after activities of warm pajamas and hot chocolate. This would make a GREAT storytime book for a rainy day.

The story chugs on at a great pace. It's a simple story, and would possibly make for a great rainy day storytime.

Pretty pastel book that simply tells the story of a rainy day. I would have liked it better if it rhymed. Good for toddlers.
