A Marine in space, three hot super ladies, and an army of supervillains out to get them.

Contains adult content. Seriously. A lot.

All I wanted to do was have some R&R from my time in space with the Marine Corps. My tour was done, my days fighting bad guys over once and for all...

Or so I thought. But damn was I wrong. So f--king wrong.

The description sounds fun and exciting and sexy, but the delivery falls short in every aspect. The writing is basically a stream-of-conscious story; it's as if someone were telling you this at a bar when you asked what they've been up to and they're like "You won't believe this!" I had a really hard time following a lot of the action scenes (though they did get better and clearer as the story went on). The best parts were the weirdness/kinkiness of some of the sex scenes, but they were so poorl ...more

Supers: Ex Gods - a review by Rosemary Kenny

After Drew is attacked by a fire-producing super, then defended by his suddenly 'super' brother, Noah, he's dragged to safety by Navani, one of a family of formerly god-like super women. She tells him why she rescued him and the family mission she and others like her have chosen him for. Although it helps Drew to have a universal role, it also suits him fine that he'll be like a sultan in a 'super' harem before that!

Can Drew keep up his end of the barg

disjointed narrative, confusing descriptions, stilted dialog
Did Not Finish / might try again

What the hell is going on in this book? after quitting I've found out it might be a sequel.
God I hope so. that would explain a lot.

Biggest gripe so far. I'm not sure the Author knows what's going on either, and not just placing the reader in the same boat as the protagonist.
My Main grip is The "Hero" meats a girl who is hot for him, then hates him, then is indifferent to him, then coy to him, then stor

It felt like this book was trying to be a lot of different things all at the same time. It was trying to be awesome superhero action, cool sci-fi, sexy erotica, and clever alternate history/mythology. Ultimately, because it was trying to be all those things, it felt like none of those things was done particularly well. The erotic elements were okay but not really standouts, the backstory was interesting but not particularly original, the superhero action was fun but just okay, etc. I also strugg ...more

After the grim dark slog with an infuriating ending that was my last read, I decided to go for something frivolous. This was certainly that. It isn't great literature, but would you expect that from a book about a former marine who is conscripted into being a breeding stud for a bunch of superhuman women? It's all a bunch of delightfully silly superheroic sex and violence and for what it is it's done well. ...more

Too silly, too juvenile. Maybe I'm just getting old but this 'fun and badass' cliche of 'epic battles, lore and TITS!' is just grating on me. The MC is incredibly thin on substance, the dialogue isn't great and the sex scenes are poorly written. Unlike most of the bad harems I read, this isn't even bad in an interesting way, it is just tedious.

You may enjoy it if you crave the staples of this genre, but otherwise you'll probably be put off.

Fast-paced and fun. Didn't particularly like the protagonist or the way he kept trying to justify his every action (unsuccessfully, in my opinion), but I'm always down for a cast of strong superwomen kicking ass. I appreciated the author's openness to poking fun at his own plot and presenting diverging opinions and beliefs within the main cast. ...more

Awesome story

Initially I did think this was part two of a series, I am glad I a was wrong. I was laughing out loud as I was reading causing a mild disturbance. I could not stop reading, the situations were something any young person would love to be involved in. I can't wait for the for the next in the series.

Not a bad read

It not bad of course if this kind of book is not for you I can see how it might not be good. These books including the other two books in series have been very different then what I am use to but that's not a bad thing. The premise behind this book was straight forward. You knew what you where going to get before reading.

Felt like it was written by someone in puberty. I got 44% in when I finally couldn't continue. He's supposed to have been in the army, but I could only see the MC as a horndog brat. The difference in how he was supposed to be as opposed to how he thought and acted only made an unbearable situation worse. ...more

Surprisingly fun read. Having seeing the cover, its stars and only glanced at its description I honestly didn't know what to anticipate aside from being a superhero/villain novel. Imagine my surprise int he first couple of pages LOL. Enjoyable, engaging and likeable characters who are looking to save the universe by combining DNA to create the next "god" super being to thwart evil. ...more

Crazy, hectic and fun!

Love the Super Ex-Heroes books and was curious to see what the Brother was up to, so started this...
Loved every second and couldn't put it down.

I am in love this universe

I know even though there is some childish scenes and so much sex, the universe in these books is too good. The concept of supers & God's(who are tier one sups) is too cool. So I will invest my time in this universe for sure.

Great book!!

Excellent book. Not what I would normally read but it came up free to try on KU, and I said what the hell. I am very glad I did. I wasn’t that huge a fan of GameLit before but you better believe I am now!!

Another fun read

This book was another interesting story and fun read, of course if one is not into characters having fun with their clothes off then they should probably avoid this book. I really enjoyed the characters in this one and am looking forward to reading the next book.

Great 👍

With this series and the heroes one it looks like thing's are going to be happening very quickly. If you have not read hero's the two stories add so much depth to the world. Both stories are similar but different overlooks just like brothers.

Really fun book. Would definitely enjoy it more if the story, characters, and relationships were built up more. Hoping the next books in the series have a bit more substance.
