This is the first 3 books in the Lemonade War series. I read the first one and enjoyed it enough to want to read the next two. I'll also add that the first book left some unanswered questions. These stories revolve around a brother and his younger sister. The brother is in 4th grade and the sister is skipping 3rd grade and will be in the same class. The first book deals with them fighting over making money on lemonade selling. The second book deals with them in school and trying to solve a mystery. The third book has them visiting their grandmother and the antique bell on her property is missing.
The Lemonade War is a great book. Jessie and her brother Evan, make their own lemonade stand and they have to make one hundred dollars to win the lemonade war. Jessie and Evan went to their grandma’s house only to find that the New Year’s bell was gone. Jessie’s new friend Maxwell tries to find the New Year’s bell.
Very sweet and simple. As a child I didn’t read much books so I want to cultivate the lifelong habit of reading and I found this book in community library. It was so good I requested it’s series from the library. Simple book for me to restart my reading journey. Simple and sweet. I love this book. Will be returning it to the community library so that someone else will enjoy it too!
I loved this book because it was just like me and my brother. This book was really great I loved to read them and wanted more. My favorite part was when they first started doing the lemonade war. Over all these books were really great and would recommend!
