Ok
This was an ok read. The fact that most of the stories actually ended was great but I hate when I read a book like this want multiple authors and multiple different stories and an author wants to “to be continued” the story, like no ma’am finish the story (rolling eyes).

I enjoyed 3 out of the 5 stories in this book. Meeting Noble Shaw was my favorite (although it ended on a to be continued) followed by His Muse and Audacious Acts. While there were some editing and grammatical errors in Meeting Noble Shaw, it didn’t take away from the flow of the storytelling. Now, the story, Better Man, Bitter Man is the reason for the subtraction of 1.5 stars. This story was terrible all around. It was poorly written, is in DESPERATE need of editing, had no real character development (I get that this is a novella, but the other stories in the book still managed to provide some character development), and had unrealistic/unbelievable scenarios (what doctor is randomly tongue kissing a woman he just met 2 minutes before at the bar? What woman is going up all D to stay “faithful” to a man that she hasn’t even engaged in conversation yet?). The scenes seemed to abruptly stop and jump to a new scene, which really interrupted the little flow the story did have. Quite frankly, a 12 year old could have written a better story than this. This is the first story I have read from this author and it will definitely be the last. The final story in this book was OK. It was the raunchiest of all the stories and I wasn’t mad at that. I like the nasty sex. It even gave me some ideas to try with my husband, lol. This was another cliffhanger so I will read the next book in the series to see how this story turns out.

Weyland(Black Rain) took one look at Siyah and she instantly inspired him and became his muse. He claimed her from the beginning. I love how he stepped to her in front of her girls to ask her out on a date. He showed her what she meant to him in more ways than one.
Noble became Imani's night in shining armor by offering her a ride and then giving her a place to stay when she got evicted. He invested time and interest into her and made sweet love to her then got ghost on her. When she went to reach out to him she got a rude awakening by seeing him being orally pleased by another woman. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Jayceon almost lost Tekhiya by making a stupid, childish bet with his cousin Nero. Tekhiya felt a strong connection with Jayceon but her heart desired to be with Nero. Tekhiya found out about the bet and dumped them both and then later found out that she was pregnant. Nero didn't want her because he didn't know which one was the father but Jayceon loved her despite of. I hope Nero goes to prison for his actions and the baby ends up being Jayceon's.
Moraiah had Dolce sexually frustrated and unhappily married for way to long. I love when they went to Club Privacy and acted out their fantasies in front of the two way mirror. I was glad when he put things in order and put his wife and the family that he wants to have first.
Doulah has a pretty interesting job being employed by Nic providing sexual fantasies. His last job assignment ended badly when he allowed his connection to Mia to over extend his services which was against the Dominatrix rules. Mia is in over her head. The question is whether Doulah will work with the old school driver to rescue her.
I loved each short story in the book and I hope there's a part two of the book.

I really enjoyed the stories of Genesis Woods and Johnni Sherri. I think they were the only reason I picked this up. I wanted more as I enjoyed their work in this anthology. They both had an actual well written plot with memorable characters that had good chemistry.
If for just those, I'd have rated this a strong 4.5. Shantae's story was an okay read as well. However the others weren't good at all by Blake Karrington and Sherene Holly-Cain.
It's so hard to rate these types of books because some author always gets the short end of the stick if theirs was a well written short vs the others. Overall, average read when I considered all reading material in this anthology.
I'll be checking out the rest to read Johnni Sherri's next installment.

amazing
imani poor imani just can't catch a break. noble I thought he was a knight in shining armor but he isn't so noble. siyah that man caught every essence of you, yeah he's dedicated hold on to him. nero is sick, conceited, boastful and if you didn't know any better he wants his cousin all to himself. I'm slightly dissapointed that jayce would carry on like especially concerning someone he loves. tekhiya I hope this shows that all that glitter isn't gold. dolce and MO strong love. doulah make that money don't let it make you!!! definetly waiting for the continuance.

BEARDED MEN HAVE ALL THE FUN
Ms. Genesis you rocked it. Siyah and Weyland met at the right time. Got together in their on their own time and hit it off immediately. Loved how these two "grown folks" handled the slight misunderstanding too.
WHAT? How you gonna leave us like that? Felt bad for Imani, didn't like Noble when first introduced, then I was like okay maybe he ain't so bad. Thought so even more when he admitted to himself he was feeling her. Then this? Whatever that was, yup you guessed it I'm back to not liking him. First time reading anything by this author but from what she give us in this short story I know her full lengths must be FIRE!
Better Man Bitter Man, was my least favorite. This girl seemed clearly delusional, maybe even desperate about the doctor. And no wonder Jayce put up with her terms of their so called friendship. And whose baby was it?
Ms. Shantae', Ms. Shantae', Ms. Shantae'! Young lady you had me on the edge of my seat with this one. So many questions about Dolce AND Mo, all at the same time. What he really doin? Will she really do it? Then the meet up happened at the club and I was like HOOOOOOT DANG!!!! Talk about steamy!!??!!! Loved how you brought it all together at the end.

Meeting Noble Shaw
I’ve only completed one of the stories in the ‘Beard Gang Chronicles’, Johnni Sherri’s “Meeting Noble Shaw”. This was my first read from this author, and I came away thoroughly impressed. I enjoy reading short stories; however, I enjoy reading short stories that are well written even more. The lead characters, Imani and Noble, had instant character chemistry at initial introduction even though there was very little dialogue between them. I look forward to reading part II of this story soon.

Excellent Storytelling
Wow! These were some excellent stories. I'm usually not a fan of books with shorts by numerous authors but I enjoyed each one. I was looking for part 2's to the first two but didn't find anything. They left me hanging. I need to know how all these stories end. These books left me wondering about the whole beard thing too. Is it really a movement? Lol. They gonna have me out here looking for men with beards. I see there's 2 more Beard Gang Chronicles and I'm about to download the second one now. I'm hoping some of the stories continue.

This was a really good collabo by some talented authors! And the bearded men in these stories....OMG!!! The scenes were so vivid and the work they put in definitely had you wanting more!! I liked the short stories but im anxious to see what is gonna happen with Noble & Doulah. Hope the wait isnt too long. Great job again authors. Believe me, this is a download you will not be disappointed in!!

After reading these stories, I will not look at bearded men the same. I will be comparing them to the characters in the book. BKP took some talented authors and created an erotic thriller that is sure to have you taking cold showers or molesting your men. Good job to everyone involved. Johnni Sherri I'll be waiting.

I was never into bearded men, but these authors have put them in a new light! I was ready to change my whole lifestyle after reading about Weyland, Noble, Jayce, Mo and Dulah. I absolutely love these men. I just know that there will be more coming on them. Great job guys!!

These chronicles were something serious I tell ya. Weyland was the total package. Noble better get it together I know that.I fell in love with Jayce but Nero...total asshole. I’m glad Moraiah was on the straight and narrow in the end, and as for Doulah,I’m just anxious to see what’s in store for him and Mia.Can’t wait for more Beard Gang Chronicles!

Loved It
Great collaboration by some amazing authors. I haven't read too many erotica books but these short stories had my attention and I couldnt stop reading. I'm very interested in finding out what is going to happen with Imani and Mr Noble Shaw. Also will Doulah have another encounter with Mia. Great job and looking forward to reading part 2.

Real spicy
I don't know why I've never read this but oh my gosh it as so good. Really steamy. Definitely not something I should've read at work. I've read from all of the authors but one, none of them disappointed though. I hope these to be continued stories pick back up somewhere though.

I enjoyed the first three stories but the last two fell a little flat for me. In the fourth story the character seemed unrealistic and very desperate. The fifth story was too short and seemed rushed when I was reading it, I was also very confused. Good book overall though can't wait to read the next books in the series.

This was a different read for me. The writing was good and the story steamy hot. And at the risk of sounding "super white" I had to use an urban dictionary for some of the words like Fiyah LOL Sorry!! But hey I learned something new! And again loved the stories!

Beard Gang Chronicles
I enjoyed reading the different stories about the bearded men. Each story was good. All authors did a good job. I just think short stories should not end on a cliffhanger. But overall it was a good book.

Overall this book was a very and easy. Easy as in the writing skills of the writer. I am definitely following some of the author. I didn't like one of the story. It needed more characters building. I am going to put the word out about this book.
