Young journalist Hilde is on the case of some missing tomato plants. Who would steal some tomato plants and why?

I like that the reader can solve the case along with Hilde in this series. The solid clues are clearly presented, while some things can be intuitively deduced from the illustrations. It's a smart mystery that totally sounds like something that could really happen and really be solved by a junior journalist and her sister.

I can see young readers really enjoying this account of a young journalist/sleuther as she solves small mysteries in her home town. In this one, not only have special tomato plants gone missing from the local gardens but the hot dogs in a cafe are making me people sick as well.
