I'm Danny Boy. No surname needed. Even though Shay Donnelly, the drummer for Rogue, is my baby brother, everyone in the whole of Dublin--hell, maybe even all of Ireland--knows me as Danny Boy. It's all I've ever been called.

But Ms. Amelia Patterson, my therapist extraordinaire, thinks it's time I go back to formalities. She says it's only right now that I'm closing in on f

Just ouch. He never had a chance to be a child. He took the weight of the world on his shoulders for Shay. Then Shay grew up and Danny had no identity, anymore. Danny Boy has made a total mess of his life. Total. He has burned bridges, lied, mostly to himself and yet, finally, he is drug-free and the struggle is painfully real. The loneliness is real and the need to be his own man is real. But Danny is floundering, caught up in a typhoon of regrets, failures and weaknesses that are his to own, h ...more

The Journey......

This is a book of finding oneself, oneself's worth, oneself's meaning and being. It's a long journey that took Danny Boy (DB) or Daniel like 22 years in the making. Heroine is a mean and spiteful drug to be addicted to, it takes over your whole being. It won't let you go without a fight that's for sure. This journey is a journey into the mind of Danny Boy the why's he started and kept at it for 22 years. The heartbreak, heartache and trials of being the way he is and why the way

Outstanding! There are so many feeling coming at me right now that I’m hoping to put my thoughts into words as a book review is expected to do. Lol This is another book in the Rouge series and this time we have Rouge’s drummer Shay’s brother, Danny Boy, in the spotlight. He has been known as the screw-up and has negatively affected anyone whose life he has touched but then again drug addiction will do that to you. You feel that no one should love you including yourself.

Reading Danny Boy's story was an unexpected pleasure. Of course, I love all the Rogue boys and Lara's writing, I just never expected to FEEL so much for Danny. He has been part of many of the books in this series since he is the brother of their drummer Shay, but he was an outsider mostly, appearing when he need help, basically just causing trouble and appearing to take advantage of his always-loyal brother. He was the ungrateful brother that I loved to hate.

In Looking for Trouble, Lara Ward-Cos

Leave it to Lara Ward Cosio to write an extremely different book then I am used to. Oh we have the "bad boy" - Daniel "Danny Boy " Donnelly, the very troubled older brother of Shay Donnelly drummer of the world famous rock group - The Rogues. If you have read the 4 book series (and if you haven't get on them like yesterday) you have had the privilege of meeting Danny Boy but if you haven't, you can start here and work your way back through them.
To say Danny has issues, is like saying the world i

Another great Rogue story! This author...she has such a way with words. This is the story of Danny Boy, Shay"s brother, who spent most of his life addicted to H. This is his story of becoming who he is meant to be as a recovering addict. This author also understands that you will always be recovering. This is his story of realizing he is worthy, of love, friendships, and forgiveness. Lara has such insight into human nature, she gets right to the heart and soul of it, leaving everyone who reads h ...more

What a great background story on Danny Boy! I enjoyed reading what was happening with him while Martin’s problems were happening. In spite of many problems with addiction, Daniel has found a good therapist and is making progress with his actions, thoughts and feelings. So then comes a woman from the past...actually another singer with her own addiction...Gavin McManus. Is she really interested in Daniel? What does his therapist think?

Well written! These guys and their lives are fascinating! Awes

If you are looking for a book where the hero is focused on the heroine only and doesn't have any interaction with other women, this book is not for you. I personally didn't mind seeing Daniel being in another relationship. Granted it was leading him on a destructive path but still :) Daniel is still a child when we meet him. He didn't have a chance to grow properly and has issues in letting people in his life. Hence his therapist, Miss. Amelia.

The only thing that kept me from giving this book 5

Looking for Trouble is the fifth instalment in the Rogue Series by Lara Ward Cosio. The Rogue series is one of the best Rockstar romance series that I have had the pleasure of reading. I think I’m drawn to the series not only by the authors superb writing skills- but because of the characters she has created. These are not your ‘typical’ Rockstar romance stories, there is so much more going on in each book. These are not sweet, fluffy reads, these books are much deeper, somewhat raw and g

I have read a few of this author’s books but this one is my favorite. This is the fifth book in this amazing series Rogue. I love contemporary romance but this author exceeded all of my expectations. You can read this as a stand alone but there is prior characters in this book as well. I was so excited when I got this book when it comes out I immediately started to read it. It only took me a little over a day to devour this incredible story.

Looking For Trouble (Rogue Series Book 5) by Lara Ward Cosio is the fifth book in her Rogue series. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help you enhance this series and give you some background information on the characters. I love when an author puts characters from previous books into the current which is what this author has done. We get to see what is happening with them. ARC generously provided for an honest review.

This was Danny Boy's story and written differently than the other books in the series. It is in the first person POV of DB as he finds his way to sobriety and facing reality for the first time since he was 18.

DB had always come across in the other books as a free-wheeling dipshit with no filter and an inability to consider any consequences to his actions. As an addict with an enabling brother beholden to him from his neglected childhood, he never had

Looking For Trouble is Lara Ward Cosio’s fifth book in the Rogue Series. Rogue is the band that the main character, Daniel, is a member of. I have not read the other books in the series and did just fine reading this one as a standalone. I however, enjoyed it very much so and will be going back to read the rest of the series. I can only imagine that they will also capture my full attention and emotions in the same way, if not more so.

I loved reading Danny’s story. He is one complex character an

The story Looking For Trouble (Rogue Series Book 5) by Lara Ward Cosio is a contemporary romance book. Rated 4 stars

This is the fifth book in the Rogue series. While I would suggest reading books 1-4 to help with character acknowledgement it is not necessary. This can be read as a stand alone. We met Danny Boy in Shays book, beings that he is his brother. He was struggling with life but came to Shays aid when needed.
Danny Boy has been seeing a therapist. He is one person that really needs to go. He is a recovering heroine addict and his

It takes a special kind of writer to take on a character like Danny Boy and in shedding light on his flaws make him a hero worthy of his own happily ever after. Candid intimate moments take readers to a place best described as the literary equivalent of Cinema Verite in book five of the Rogue series, Looking for Trouble. Incredibly revealing Ms. Ward-Cosio's presents Danny Boy in an unfiltered and not always flattering light. There was so much to love about this character despite his affinity an ...more

Okay friends, buckle up because you are in for a bumpy ride with this book! This is Daniel aka "Danny Boy"s story. It is not a story filled with hearts and rainbows. It is a raw and gritty tale that shows the struggles that come along with addiction. What causes someone to even start using, and what are the devastating effects this disease has on not only the addict but those who love him/her as well?

Through her words, this author demonstrated what an impact, either good

Looking For Trouble by Lara Ward Cosio is a Rogue Series Extra story. So Looking For Trouble can be read as a standalone if you wanted however the Rogue Series is a pretty great series and this specific book is about Danny Boy (Daniel). Danny boy has made an appearance in all of the Rogue books so it’s about time there was a book made specifically for him. In all the previous books he’s been Shay’s addict brother and the trouble maker. This story gives you a more in-depth look into Daniels life ...more

Looking For Trouble by Lara Ward Cosio is the fifth book in her Rogue Series. This book can be read as a stand-alone.
When Danny has to attend therapy session the last thing he expected was to have to stand on formalities. He hasn’t used his surname in years - he hasn’t needed to. Being in a band as big as Rogue everyone knows who he is.
But she insists. And right now Danny has to keep up appearances and keep everyone happy by attending these sessions. So if that means lasts names then so be it.

I don’t even know where to start with this review. This was a first time read for me with this author and although it was book 5 in this series, it can be read as a stand-alone book. To say that this book took me on a roller coaster of emotions would be putting it mildly. Ms. Cosio pulls the reader in and entrenches you in the life of Danny Boy. But it is not a good life. Being thrust into roles and situations at a young age has definitely left its mar

He carries so much on his shoulders but he doesn't open up to anyone why burden anyone and let go he see it as these are his issues to deal with , but surely opening up will take a huge weight off his shoulders! I connected more with Looking for Trouble than Finding Rhythm. I found Danny Boy to be very sincere and enjoyed watching him improve his habits and life choices. It’s obvious he really did want to change and better himself. Addiction is a very crippling thing, especially when it’s taken over half your life. I also loved seeing how the band really pulled around him. The timeline was interesting, seeing it interweave between parts I had read in a previous story, but it can be read as a stand alone ...more

Even the crazy messed up people deserve a happy ever after. Danny Boy(Daniel) is clean and trying to stay that way. He is constantly fighting the “voices” in his head. His story is so sad. This is the 5th book in this amazing series, and is Danny Boy’s story. Danny is Shay’s older brother, and is working on finding himself, and his self worth, while fighting addiction. Amelia is his therapist whom he sees on a weekly basis. His story is emotional, heartbreaking, gritty, and powerful, and I loved how this talented author dealt with the addiction aspect of this story. I was totally intrigued and captivated throughout, and cannot wait to read more in this awesome series.
