SOLEMN VOW: Is a full length romance novel by NEW TO ME AUTHOR ‘Bree Dahlia’ Spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives’

When I saw this pop up on my newsfeed on facebook, it took only look at the cover, another look at the synopsis and I was off faster than flash to one click. As soon as I started this I didn’t want to put it down, to say I inhaled it is an understatement.

It’s hard to really pinpoint where things started going wron

Bree Dahlia is completely new to me, in fact I've never heard of her but I've been trying to read new authors this summer and I stumbled upon this book and this blurb.....I couldn't help myself!

This story is about Cain. Maddie and Jake.

Cain and Maddie have a beautiful marriage. He's a supportive, doting and loving husband. When Cain's aunt dies he and Maddie decide to move into her home. It's where Cain grew up and it's also just about 20 minutes away from Maddi

Hot diggidy damn this book was way more than I was expecting. When I read the blurb and saw at the bottom that there was cheating involved, I said to myself that I needed to read this one now because I know, for a fact, that this book was going to have my emotions in a turmoil rage".

Bree Dahlia is a new author for me. I was very, very impressed with this book and I loved every moment, every minute of every second of this book. I have to say that it emotionally broke me to pieces because of the

Looking for an angsty, emotional read, one that will make you question what you would do in the same situation? I know I did.

Real life is not all fairy tales and romance, but it can still be beautiful, especially when filled with love and forgiveness. I threw my heart and soul into this story, and I hope it moves you as much as it moved me when I first heard it. If you like your love stories gritty and raw, I cannot wait for you to read and connect with it too.

Releasing July 11.

I was so excited to read this book!!! First of, that blurb!! WOWZA!!!  It got me hook, line, and sinker!!  This is the kind of book I live for! This is a new to me author that I've never heard of but that blurb just sold me! Second, that cover!  Wow.  It's just gorgeous!! I'm such a cover whore and love it when a beautiful cover catches my eye!!  I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this story! The events are based on a true story and this just made it so much more tragic. To know s ...more

Cain and Maddie is happily married just like every marriage they run into problems. Maddie's first love- teenage love pops up in the picture again years after Jake let her go, and the triangle begins. Jake is recently separated.

I feel like Maddie was definitely in the wrong, I don't feel she should have tried to contact Jake's old number.
One thing I did like was Maddie's best friend Rowan did not tell her to Cheat. Almost every book I read lately when the heroine runs into hard times the best

The Solemn Vow was such a heartfelt tale. It really got me right in the heart where few stories ever reach.

I have to admit when I read the blurb it didn't exactly give me the best first impression; after all cheating is not exactly the kind of thing I normally like reading about. But this story is so obviously told from the heart that I couldn't judge Maddie. She did what she did because she was coming from a place of untold pain. Her husband Cain, the man who healed her from the pain her first

I can still feel my heart racing, having finished this story hours ago. Bree Dahlia, you have just won me over as a fan!

The Solemn Vow just jumped to one of my top reads this year. Not only is the writing astounding, I could feel the intensity of the story line from page one. Literally, I caught myself gripping the side of the chair while I read. I almost felt like I'd fallen down the rabbit hole and discovered a whole new world with Maddie and Cain. Just when you think the perfect marriage, who

The Solemn Vow is the first book I have read by Bree but I can promise you, it will not be the last! This book had seriously everything that I look for when it comes to love triangles. They are my absolute favorite reads but knowing this one is based on a true story makes it even more real to me. I couldn’t imagine being faced with the decisions and heartbreak Madison went through. I thought I knew how the story was going to end, but there were definitely some twists and turns that I didn’t see ...more

Wow, what can I say about this book? The author takes this heart wrenching story and makes it real life. Real life isn't sunshine and rainbows. Love isn't black or white. Madison and Cain's story is truly one that is understated. Bree takes this story makes the reader feel all emotions from all sides and shows that real life can be better than the first love fairy tale. ~A Wild About Romance Review

Don’t let my rating keep you away from this book. The writing was very well done, the story felt a little rushed. I was worried that this was going to run into a second book, but glad it didn’t.
I would’ve rated it higher, but Maddie really made me mad at times. I wanted to shake her! She could have been more compassionate in my opinion.

The Solemn Vow by Author Bree Dahlia is a novel based on a true story. It’s an emotional read that will have you asking. What would you do if you were in the same situation as Maddie, Cain, and Jake?

This is the first novel I have read from Bree Dahlia and I can honestly say it won’t be my last. When I first read the blurb I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it, but was very curious that the story was based on a true story. I was excited to get in my happy spot, with my glass of wine and dive d
I don't have enough stars for this book! THIS book gave me all the feels and emotions on what love is worth. Yes there is cheating, but as you read it you understand the heartache Mads endures.

I’m speechless.
This book brought so much memories it hurts.
Somebody said” you can made mistake but you will pay for it”.
It’s so true. It’s also true you can learn from them.
Caine and Maddy are proff.
I’m so happy that even then went through hell, they emerged from it.
Phoenix,it’s beautiful name.

Since Bree is a new author to me, I decided to read this when given the chance. It certainly did not disappoint. This book was very emotional and even if you think you know what's going on, you don't. The writing was amazing and the characters, Maddie and Cain, will rip at your heartstrings. This book is one of the top books I've read this year. I'll definitely be reading more from Bree if they are anything like this.

I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

First of all, amazing writing. It took me a minute to get into the book, but once I did, I wanted to keep reading, yet I kept walking away because …

Things just aren’t what they seem to be. You can’t help hating all the characters at some point. Then, at the end, you end up loving the one who seemed to be the worst, your heart going out to them, while loathing and despising the one who appeared to be the better person. It’s just a roller coaster ride. I

Oh my word! I finished this book over vacation and I could hardly put it down. It was pretty intense. I went into it completely cold. No idea what kind of book it was and I even missed the part where the author mentions that it was based on a true story. Once I finished and read the end notes, I was blown away that it was based on a true story. Wow! Apparently I've lived a very mundane life. I must say that my loyalties briefly jumped ship throughout the story and at several points in the book, ...more

Well that was interesting and crazy. I definitely felt conflicted while reading this. You think you know what's going to happen but that was definitely not the case here.

The Solemn Vow sucked me in the first chapter, I had to know what was going on. There were times I got angry, sympathetic and even a bit emotional. I'm so glad for that ending though and I can't wait to see what's next for this author!

Well, this book was certainly an interesting read.

The Solemn Vow is a story of love, heartbreak, and second chances. When I started reading the book, I thought I had an idea of what was going to happen down the line of the story, but it was different than I expected.

You can tell that it's inspired by a true story: It was a real, bittersweet story. It wasn't all hearts and flowers, and you can feel the hardship that Jake, Maddie and Cain were going through. It makes you look at it from differen

When I first started reading, I thought this was going to be a ghost story - and it is - just not in the way I was expecting. The main characters are dealing with the ghosts of their pasts as they try to cope with the turmoil in the present. It's a highly emotional, sometimes heartbreaking story about a marriage falling apart and a woman torn between the two loves of her life. I thought I knew where it was going but I really didn't. Holy...I am still trying to process this!! I am going to be suffering from a major book hangover AND a major case of the feels for days on this one!
This is the first time I have read the author and it was an ARC and I am blown away.
Not really sure what to say considering these are real people. It isn't like I can say the author did a good job on compatibility or the growth of her characters or she picked a great setting or storyline. And I can't say much about the story without giving away some

Beautiful story! I really enjoyed this book about Maddie and Cain, a young married couple and what happens when they move into an old home that needs a lot of work. When her husband starts changing, it's really spooky. What is possessing him? Why is he so different than normal? It's a riveting story that I couldn't stop reading, and so much happens when Maddie seeks out her high school sweetheart who lives in the same town. It's a roller coaster of emotions and really goes in depth into love and ...more

It's a miracle that I can still read despite the mountainous work load in my job and being a wife and a mom.
im not going to tell anything about the story but I will tell you about what I felt. I felt troubled.... I wasn 't annoyed by the cheating ( for me the cheating is reasonable ) .... I was never confused about who I want maddie to end up with.... it was always CAIN for me. in the end I was relieved that it all went well. I felt really sad for Jake. after the last page..... it's refreshing.

Provided with a free ARC for an honest review. Wonderful romance with excellent characters, story and emotional situations. Maddie, Cain and Jake form a triangle with many problems to solve. Cheating and the consequences are a big part of the plot. The author explores the results of childhood abuse and bad memories and how they can mold us as adults. Sometimes the small things can affect our lives in ways we would never anticipate. All we can do is the what seems the best option at the time. I r ...more

When I read the blurb and saw at the bottom that there was cheating involved, I was a little torn….because I’m such a hopeless romantic... but I have to say I was really surprised by the story and found it very enjoyable! It had all the feels and was beautifully written. I can’t wait to dive into another Bree Dahlia story!
