Holy wow I love these characters.
This is the review of the THIRD book in the series so if you haven't read books one or two, I encourage you to please, please check out the first two books! I've had the pleasure to beta-read the first two books in Billie's story and, though the genre is not usually my cup of tea (me? a sex-repulsed ace reading New Adult college romance? sounds fake), I've come to love these characters even more than I did in books one and two. In fact, I think it's easy to say t

Who We Might Have Been is the third and final book in the Billie Dixon trilogy series by D.L. Pitchford. It is a wonderful new adult story that explores some of the issues that come with early adulthood, relationships, family, friendship, choices, and learning more about one’s self.
We met Billie Dixon in the first book and have followed her through her journey. So, if you haven’t read the first two books in this series yet, I strongly suggest that you do- as this series is a continuation

Who We Might've Been: A College Coming-of-Age Story (Billie Dixon Book 3)
By: D.L. Pitchford
5 out of 5 stars

The story Who We Might've Been: A College Coming-of-Age Story (Billie Dixon Book 3) by D.L. Pitchford is a new adult/coming of age book. It is part of a series that should be read in order as each story picks up from the last. It is a book that once I started reading I didn’t want to put down until I had read the final page. I really enjoy reading about Billie Dixon. She is a young woman wh

I highly suggest that you read the previous two books before this one as they pick up pretty much where the last left off. In this installment Billie is still learning about life and trying to stay on track. Dahlia wants a second chance but will Billie give it to her? They took me on an emotional roller coaster from compassion to humor. I was pulled right in from the start with this story and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I highly recommend this book.

Who We Might've Been is an exceptional novel because it is so realistic, and the characters are so relatable. The series of novels follows one Billy Dixon as she embarks on her junior year at college. Many of the ups and downs she has encountered throughout the series are brought back through context clues and scene structure, establishing history. It is that established history that makes the story so gripping because the author does not spend time recounting everything, she delivers the histor ...more

Who We Might’ve Been is the third book in D. L. Pitchford’s Billie Dixon series. Billie is feeling isolated and, whilst initially optimistic about her planned art projects, is denied the opportunities that were motivating her. Her family life, which she keeps at a distance from, is dramatic to say the least. She is surrounded by people who are relying on her or trying to use her or lead her astray. And through all of this, she is desperately trying to manage her mental health and keep herself fr ...more

Welcome to the third installment of the Billie Dixon saga and now my favorite one. If you haven't read the first two books, stop and go read them now. Get lost in Billie Dixon's world and the people in it. Especially the sexy Xander (Can you tell he's my favorite?)
This story focuses on Billie trying to live a good life. She is trying to stay on her medication to treat her depression and really think out her decisions. She isn't the rash and immature young adult she previously was. But she also

I have been waiting for this book and was so excited when it hit my kindle...Have you read this series? If not..What are you waiting for? Do not start with this book, seriously you must read all 3 of them.

Who We Might’ve Been: A College Coming of Age Story by D.L. Pitchford is the first and final book in the Billie Dixon series. Showing the adult side of growing up while exploring issues with relationships, family, friendship, good and bad choices and learning how to be okay with yourself. Getting to meet Billie is the first book and seeing her progress through the series has been a great evolution, watching her grow and those around her evolve around her as well makes for a great read. Who We Might’ve Been: A College Coming-Of-Age story by D.L. Pitchford is the third book in the Billie Dixon series. This series really does need to be read in order as it follows the same character throughout and each book follows on from the last.
Billie’s life is falling apart. With friends having drifted from her and Xander not talking to her she doesn’t have anything that she once did. And to make matters worse her boss doesn’t feel she has done enough to be classed as an artist yet – she sti

Who We Might've Been: A College Coming-of-Age Story (Billie Dixon Book 3)
By D. L. Pitchford

This is the third book in this series and I loved reading it. My suggestion is to read the first two books in this series as I think it will make the story more enjoyable because you will have more information and have gotten to know the characters. This book deals with some serious issues and I felt that it was written very well. I could not put this book down as soon as I started reading it!! I have love

This was honestly a wonderful novel. I did make a mistake though, and read this book before I read the first two in The Billie Dixon Trilogy. I wish I hadn’t and had started with the first and read in order. Now that I am aware, and enjoyed this I will reread this after I go back and devour the first two. I really enjoyed Billie as a character so I need to go back and follow everything that Billie has been through that has brought her to where she is in this book.

With all that said, I really enj

The third book in this series and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I thought maybe Billie’s life would be getting a little boring now but no the author upped it in this book and I think it might be my favourite of the series so far! There were so many surprises for me, especially the Billie and Dahlia storyline – I was not expecting that! I think what still strikes me with this book is how real it all feels, I am genuinely there

A great read about second chances. Billie Dixon's world has been turned upside down but she tries to keep going with her art class. When her professor partners her with an old friend Dahlia, Billie soon realises Dahlia wants to be more than friends. Can Billie trust her and give her a second chance or will her fear rule her heart instead?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Billie trying to keep going despite changing situations or Dahlia going

Who We Might've Been: A College Coming-of-Age Story, book 3 in the Billie Dixon Story by DL Pitchford
4 out of 5 stars

I have loved this series the whole way through. These characters have sass, depth, drama and extreme emotions. Let me first advise that you must read books one and two if you wish to get the full effect of this story. This is the third and final book in the Billie Dixon trilogy and while I am sad to see such a great group of characters final see their conclusion, I am happy to see

Who We Might've Been: A College Coming-of-Age Story (Billie Dixon Book 3) By D. L. Pitchford. Let me start by saying this series definitely needs to be read in order to get the entire story. This story is just as good as the first two books. Billie’s character is just one that people can connect with and understand as she grows and learns who she is in the world of being an adult. The author has a great way of showing the troubles people face as they take on the world as their own. I got so inve ...more

Billie is back! I’ve missed her and the gang. A lot has happened. Friendships are strained but life goes on. Billie is working hard on herself and school. Of course there are distractions in the form of old friends with bad habits. Despite any mistakes Billie makes, she’s different this time around. She seems more aware of bad behavior and is making an effort to do what’s best for her. We all can’t be perfect and I think that’s why I like Billie. This book had me smiling then laughing the sheddi ...more

Who We Might've Been by D.L. Pitchford is the third book in this YA series. Much like the first two this book did not disappoint. Once I picked it up, I was lost in the pages and couldnt put it down. The characters and writing feel like you are right there with them amd you feel what the characters are feeling. When I started this series I had never heard of this author, now I would read anything shr writes. I give this book a solid 5 stars.

This is the third in this must-read series.

Billie has gone through a lot in a short time and still has so much more to learn about herself and others around her.

The author writes so graphically that she makes you feel as if you know Billie Dixon and her friends through these books. The characters and their actions in this series are so realistic and true to today's world that it actually gives you a good feel for the college-age group out there.

This is an amazing series by a wonderful writer.
