This was a fairly enjoyable romantic suspense. It was a quick read and a bit predictable. There was definitely insta-love between the main couple and that made me take off a star. There weren't really any surprises and I guessed to culprit early on. Still it's not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

During the runway show shots ring out and Josef is murdered. Jasmine is saved thanks to Jacob Wolff, an undercover FBI agent posing as a rich art dealer. Mom and I found this book to be a fun ride.
First off mom and I liked how both of the hero and heroine worked and law enforcement and they both were undercover. The chemistry between the two of them was just fun. It was nice how they tripped over each other in the beginning and than started to learn how to dance together as they kept going.
Second Mom and I also liked how not everyone was evil. Again in these books it is easy to make the bad guy only a bad guy, and to be far they never let you fo

Set in steamy Florida where FBI agent Jacob Wolff and Miami detective Jasmine Adair work together to take down a drug lord. They're too late: someone shoots him, but who? Then there are those bodies in the barrels and the other headless and handless bodies, too. Can they figure out who did all that nastiness even while Jasmine tries to find her best friend who just, um, disappeared?

And what about that weird guy with the English accent? Is he what he seems, a gentleman, or one of those men whose

Agents kept finding dismembered bodies in the Everglades...

Jasmine is an undercover runway model at a Miami nightclub. Jacob is an undercover FBI agent at the same club. They uncover illegal drugs, prostitution, and multiple murders in the club. This is a favorite location as a backdrop for this author. This was a fast read with a shallow plot. It appears to link into the Krewe of Hunters series written by this author.
Way too predictable. So much time and effort was spent on trying to perfect the insta-love and not enough time spent on trying to come up with a decent bad guy. And even then, the insta-love was just ugh. I get it that this is a romance, and so the suspense/mystery takes a back seat to the falling in love crap, but still... there wasn't even any red herrings in this one. It flat out tells you who did it half way through. I guess the thing about Mary was a little less predictable, but still.

Sloppy Proof Reading, Good Plot

I don't enjoy books that can't keep characters names straight like location 2160 on Kindle (Then suddenly, Kozak said, "Here."). I had to stop & reread the last paragraph thinking when did Kozak getvthere? Still I liked the plot so I rated it a 4.

Wonderful Story

Heather Graham never disappoints with her stories. Undercover Connection is one of many of her books and they are all great. I especially love her ghost story series....

I didn't like it. Rich Florida people, drugs, and prostitutes. Not my cup of tea.

Good story, but not as much pizzazz as Heather Graham usually gives. The Hero and Heroine were a good couple.

It was a fun read. I'm just not a fan of insta-love or insta anything.

What a book to read. A fast paced action packed thriller that will have you wanting to go down to South Beach Florida. Follow the ploice and FBI as they try to take down a gang that is big and bad. Undercover is only the beginning, to get closer they have to go into the inner circle and maybe this time the take down will be complete.

I liked this book better than the one that she had out earlier year. Out of the Darkness for it was to violent for me. In this book I met Jasmine Adair and Jacob Wolff. In this book I learnt about the mob and undercover work. It was steady in its action and it had some real neat things happening. It had things happening that made you curious to turn the page and see what was happening next. It was well written and its worth reading. It has some neat stuff in the book about Florida. I enjoyed rea ...more
