First in a trilogy, featuring the splendidly named Inspector Rinus Rompa ( sounds like a medical condition!). Amsterdam is the backdrop in all its magnificence and readers are propelled across the city from eye level to rooftop level, as the killer picks off the victims. Excellent read - am just about to pick up the second book. Enjoy
