True love

This was a story of how God washes us clean and will answer prayers if we follow him. Rose was born to a harlot and she followed in her mother's steps. After she gave her life to Jesus she started corresponding with a man out west. They fell in love even with her flawed past. When she gets to Texas to marry Ben, he is missing. Knowing their love is strong she faces Rand a former bounty hunter who wants nothing to do with anybody since his wife's death, she also insists on going along on the hunt. Rand will agree and find that God does answer prayer and it's time to get back to the living and help this couple find each other.

Rand, Ben and Rose

A delightful story of searching for love. Really like Rand...he is a tough former bounty hunter. He is struggling to live after his wife, Susanna is killed. Rose (Bens mail order bride) helps Rand by convincing him to find Ben. For such a short read, there are a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes. Also like one reader commented....Rose could not have known where Red River was. L also noticed that Rise couldn't have ridden Pansy and beat Rand and the sheriff to Dustin and his men. A big faux paux. Even the preview for book 2 has mistakes.

Determined Fiancee

This was quite the story of a determined fiancee insisting on hiring a former bounty hunter to find her missing intended. Excellent, well-written characters, a suspenseful plot and some good action kept me reading.

This was such a refreshing book! Not your average mail order bride book, and definitely not your normal bounty hunter book! In fact the lead character isn't even the one falling in love! Patricia does an outstanding job with this story line and I'm excited to read more in the Rand Ketchum series that begun with this book! Very, very well done!
