This is the perfect beach read. It is a book I could easily imagine devouring whilst baking on a sun lounger. It had everything, relatable characters, really good storyline and a steamy romance. I read this book in 2 days which for me at the moment is miraculous and goes to show just how much I enjoyed this! I can't wait for the next one now!

This wasn't the first book that I've read by Toya Richardson, but it felt like a lifetime since I read her last book, "flame." However, when I realised she was releasing a beach romance series I was thrilled, because I felt it had this author down to a T. I wasn't wrong. You could tell the author had fondness from her travels, it come across in the description of certain places. This was the perfect summer beach read. I started this book in hospital and it was a fast paced, light read. If you li ...more

Destination Love is the first book in the Beach Reads Romance series and it’s characters include; Faith - the romance writer traveling to Waiheke to get rid of her cling-on Ex, Alan.

As her journey starts, so does her heart upon meeting one of the locals...Dean!
Their love story was insta-love but in a romance filled island, it seemed natural.

With a blossoming career, both Faith and Dean struggle with the prospect of being parted...but with more than just their careers causing problems, could th

This was a quick, but good read. I enjoyed the story line, the instant connection and love, the little bit of angst, and the fact that it was set in New Zealand.

Faith Morgan is a newly successful romance writer. She dumps her unsupportive/stalker boyfriend and embarks on a trip to visit her aunt and have a change of scenery. The change of scenery leads her to Dean Jameson. He works for his family's business and leads tours in his spare time. He’s still feeling the sting from his la

Destination Love by Toya Richardson
I loved it, but I have some reservations about this book. I love the storyline, the ideas and the characters, what I didn’t like that much was how the book was written. Some parts flowed and I was taken to New Zealand and observed what happened, some parts were not fluently written and that bothered me, taking me back to the place I sat, reading. I think and hope the writer can enhance her writing style and I would love to follow her on that journey. This is wh

Destination Love by Toya Richardson

This was the first book I had read by this author and I honestly wasn’t disappointed. In fact I wonder why I waited so long to read anything by her.

This story is perfect for summer and the romance is brilliantly written. It’s a beautiful story from beginning to end and I can’t wait to read more from her. The characters were very relatable and could be your next door neighbour!

I love a good holiday Romance and this boo

This is an enthralling yet heart-warming love story following the lives of two people, both having previously suffered bad relationships who come together and make an immediate connection – although not necessarily beginning on the right foot! Faith - a romance writer - takes an extended trip to the exotic island of Waiheke, New Zealand and finds herself more than a little distracted after meeting the local bus tour guide Dean.

It’s a believable tale with relatable characters that quickly draw th

A great summer beach romance read.
I enjoyed getting to know the characters throughout.
Faith was just beginning to find success in her writing career when she ends an unfulfilled relationship having had enough put downs
A few twists and turns kept my interest and I enjoyed the few lol moments included
Looking forward to book 2

Ms Richardson just wrote the perfect summer read.
This story has everything you need to chill and relax under the sun. A wonderful love story, a strong leading woman that isn't afraid to follow her dreams. It's angsty and steamy, it keeps you hooked throughout. It flowed beautifully, Richardson's writing gave me all the feels.
One click and enjoy the ride. Bravo !

I knew I was going to love this book from the first paragraph it was so easy to relate to the characters you felt like you actually knew them and the way the locations were described you could almost picture them and feel like you were there with them.
Perfect book to read on your summer hols.
Looking forward to the next one in the series.

'Love' stories are not usually the type of genre I tend to follow but as I was looking for that 'holiday feel' book, I decided to give this one a try ....... and I was pleased I did. The main characters are Faith & Dean and I found their immediate connection held some good memories for myself (aren't I lucky!!) The story line continued at quite a pace and before I knew it, I had come to the near ending of their story. I found the scenes with her ex partner very well written and it really cam ...more

Destination Love is the first book of this series. It is a sweet heart warming love story. I found myself smiling throughout the book. Some parts got a little repetitive which is why I rated it a 4 out of 5. But all in all it is worth the read. I look forward to reading the next one. I am hoping for more of Leah and Neil in the next book.

A really fantastic summer read from Toya. The characters are fab and you instantly fall in love with them, the setting is also perfect for a romance. The book flows really well and this makes for a fast paced read. I can’t wait to read more of the beach reads romance series.

Destination Love was my first book by Toya Richardson. Initially I thought she was a new author, and I was accepting of the slower pace, the plain language, the simple imagery, but I came to find out that she has many books under her belt, and frankly, I was surprised. I wish I could rave about it, but I can’t say that reading this story has me running out to buy any of her earlier books. It was an ok read for me, something kept me reading until the end to see how the characters ended up, althou ...more

After reading Flame, I knew I was guaranteed a great read by Toya Richardson who is a talented author. She didn't disappoint with Destination Love and I read this 5 star story all in one go. Yet again, I was able to relate with parts of the story, and Toya Richardson did a wonderful job of showing the damage left behind after being in an abusive relationship. However, the ugly parts of what Faith goes through doesn't take away from the beauty of this 5 star story about strength, love, and faith. ...more

I absolutely loved this story! I was totally swept along by the story and gripped as it unfolded. Toya Richardson described Waiheke so clearly and beautifully that I could almost feel the sun on my back! If you would like to be "whisked away from it all" reading this book is the way to do it! Looking forward very much to book 2.

My mum read to me from an early age and encouraged me to write my own stories. She was positive I could become a published author. Unfortunately she passed before she could see my dream come true. I still miss her love and friendship. It was the catalyst for me to start writing seriously. I now have 10 books published. I have recently signed with another publisher for a series of Beach Read romanc ...more
