I have really enjoyed all of these stories that take place in and around With a Kick, a charming ice cream shop in London run by Patrick and Lee (more on them in a bit)

The first story, Pluck and Play, is about Curtis and Riley, and you gotta love a cowboy. This is romance for the soul. How love should be written.

Both stories in this series centered around the cafe With a Kick, and the many friends that inhabit the fun, breezy ice cream/alcohol establishment. It teaches that no one is truly alone and that we are part of a larger community. And helping those in need gives back more than can ever be counted.

The first story, Pluck and Play, features Curtis and a mysterious cowboy. Curtis is a go-to guy i

Story: 4 stars
The stories aren't long, but they pack a punch and are thoroughly entertaining with just enough comedy to break up the more serious moments. My only issue with the two main stories on this audiobook, there were a couple of times I thought they dragged and I wanted to slap the characters because they were acting like idiots...I'm speaking about Curtis and Patr

Clare took the pen name London from the city where she lives, loves, and writes. A lone, brave female in a frenetic, testosterone-fuelled family home, she juggles her writing with her other day job as an accountant. She’s written in many genres and across many settings, with award-winning novels and short stories published both online and in print. She says she likes variety in her writing while f ...more
