A lot of insightful treasures in this devotional, though why they chose to just do 25 devotionals was kind of odd. It is definitely a little dated (the last chapter used the fall of the Berlin Wall as a recent thing), but it's still relevant.
I had never heard any of Wayne Watson's music before (most of the 80's Christian contemporary music sounds the same to me, iykyk 😁), but he wrote some really good lyrics. For instance :
I'd rather walk in the dark with Jesus/ Than to walk in the light on my own. I'd rather go through the valley of the Shadow with him / Than to dance on the mountains alone. I'd rather follow wherever he leads me / Than to go where none before me have gone. I'd rather walk in the dark with Jesus / Than to walk in the light on my own

The "personal reflections" at the end of each chapter were thought provoking, but somewhat unhelpful in that they seemed like leading questions. I think they would have been more valuable in the format of a slightly longer study guide.
