I enjoyed this book. What I like is the unusual setting for the story to take place in, not many cozy mystery sleuths can say they solved a murder on mars, a nice twist on the norm. This is book two and even though it does continue on from the first book it isn't necessary to have read or listened to it but you learn a lot about what it is like to live in space or what the author thinks it is like and he creates a wonderful world and mystery in both books. The characters are fun and certainly ma ...more

This was a fantastic follow up to the first Andorra Pett. I very much enjoyed it! It comes alive and sucks you in for a wild ride that leaves you rooting for Andi and Cy while simultaneously wanting to annihilate Trevor, and leaves you guessing at every turn! It was much more serious in overall tone than the first, but it still had plethora of eye rolls, snickers, and outright laughs! The middle ran a bit long with overly repetitious interactions between Hughes and his minions, but it wasn't eno ...more
Okay, but I think I’m done.

Don’t get me wrong, Andi and Cy are sweeties, but I’m just not enjoying the series as much as I had hoped to. Space cosy mysteries sounded like an amazing subset of the genre, but maybe I just haven’t found the right series yet. It’s not badly written, nor were the characters terrible. There is just something that is missing.

"Two people with no clue...."
Book two in the series (but stand alone) in which we meet the ex boyfriend who sent Andorra and her friend, Cy, racing into space to start a new life in the first place. And he brings Trouble. Andy's friend has been found dead on Mars, and the authorities say it was suicide. But surely this could not be true?

This is another fun cosy murder mystery, written in the first person, with an endearing central protagonist, although it didn't have the s

Andorra Pett returns for more hijinx bringing her brand of drama and action down from the space station orbiting Saturn to the red dusty plains of Mars. Leaving her cafe, her life with new-squeeze Derek for the funeral of a best friend from years gone by. But nothing, as usual for Andi, is as it seems. A suicide that seems suspicious, hidden ill-gotten gains in the canyons of Mars, her ex Trevor up to no good and two different groups of mobsters on her tail, this would not turn out to be a quiet

Andorra Pett is still her own worst enemy. She’s just so dang nice that not only does she have a very hard time thinking badly of anyone, she has an even harder time saying no to someone who asks for her help—even when that person is her ex-boyfriend who cheated on her with her best friend. Now that friend (Maisie) has committed suicide on Mars and Trevor (the ex) doesn’t believe she would kill herself. He wants Andorra to return to Mars with him and figure out what really happened to Maisie. Of ...more
