I don’t like people.
I avoid them whenever possible.
They always want something from me whether it’s money or attention.
My ten-figure net worth isn’t the product of being what people would consider a “nice guy.”
When I see something I want—I take it.
I’ve been called an asshole more times than I can count, and I don’t care.
Caring about things makes you vulnerable, and vulnerable is the last thing I’ll ever be.
Until Christina walks in and threatens the foundation of my life with her tight little body, sassy mouth, and soft curves.
She doesn’t put up with my sh*t.
She makes me human.
I fight the attraction.
But, there’s one problem…
I have to have her.
I will have her.

Matty Spencer felt he had the perfect life.  He was rich, good looking, men and women alike begged for his attention, he lived a life of leisure…he reigned supreme.  Except his life was in disarray, something unforgivable since he made his money developing apps and means to simplify life handsfree.  He was technology. When it becomes apparent he needs help, he employs the skills of Christina Smith, a very human and very desirable woman with a set of skills like no one he has encountered before.  Christina was used to men like Matty, privileged and expectant.  But she was no man’s fool.  Battles of will, chemistry, desire and grit brew between the couple.  Is it the fight or the victory both battle for?

I voluntarily received this ARC.  This is an honest, personal Review.

3.7 Stars for me. I enjoyed the relationship between Matty and Christina that developed and it was a sweet read filled with laughter and romance. I didn’t feel the desire to keep going in one sitting, I felt the overall storyline was good but my interest was a bit up and down until about 80% and then I was hooked. I think this author definitely has potential and I will be keeping an eye out for more of their work in the future. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

4 Star Review Shagged by Alex Wolf
Having read only one other book from Alex Wolf I wanted to check this one out. Shagged was a quick read I enjoyed it.
The attraction between Matty Spencer and Christina Smith is tangible. When Matty hires Christina to assist him to get his life in order, he has no idea of the impact she will have on his life both professionally and personally.
However Christina is no push over, she is feisty, efficient and in no way overwhelmed by the arrogant Matty. I liked her, she gave as good as she got and putting Matty in his place was awesome, particularly since I felt he was a real jerk in the beginning, but he did grow on me.
Shagged was a good read with a story line that was deeper than the first book I read by Alex Wolf which I enjoyed. I look forward to reading more from Alex Wolf.

4.5 Stars for Shagged by Alex Wolf.
A quick read but that didn’t make this hot read any less enjoyable, Matty is a man who has it all, he is rich, he is hot, he has a computer named Mia who is supposed to run his house but he stills finds his life in disarray because let’s be honest a human touch is better than a computer voice.
Christine is hired to sort out Matty’s professional life, she see’s him as her boss and an arrogant playboy but there is also something about him that she can’t seem to shake.
This book like Matty has it all, you will laugh, you will be fanning yourself through the seriously hot moments and as this story goes on you will fall in love with Matty and Christine and what can I say about the ending apart from a perfect HEA.
Looking forward to the next read from Alex Wolf

The author gift me this ARC and I was excited to read a fresh new author. I’m glad I did.

Here are my thoughts:

The story flows real well with a clever and interesting writing. It made me laugh quite a bit. Very enjoyable.

The Boss was to be understood as an arrogant guy, most billionaires hint that, suspicious and careful about whom they trust, but I didn’t feel that when this boss was so concerned to know who’s the fault was without hurting anyone, when his electronic assistant made him almost miss a very important meeting and making his house routine a little more stressful.

Will a human assistant break his ice?

Is he prepared to handle this new woman?

You have to read if to find out.

I’m very curious to read more from Alex!

Cute, hot and fun filled short read. An opposites attract story with lots of heat and sizzling chemistry. Matty is a billionaire that seems to have everything, but his life is a mess. He doesn't really like people and has no use for them.....Until he meets Christina. Christina considers Matty her boss; since she's been hired to straighten out his life. She is determined to resist Matty....if only she wasn't so drawn to him. Read this book and enjoy the ride as these two battle with what their heads wants and their hearts need. Very enjoyable book! I'm posting a voluntary, honest review.

I gave this book a 5 which is something I rarely do. The characters were not only described but evolved in their relationship to each other but in how they saw themselves. Matty starts off behaving as an entitled, spoiled rich man. Christina is an organizer and planner. They appear to be an unlikely pair but all is not what it appears.

Alex Wolf's writing provides excellent imagery, story development, and characterization. I will be following this author.
Great read!

This book is a fun fast read! Matty is a man with two much money and can’t seem to get his life organized. His home is even chaotic with his computer Mia supposedly running the house. He hires Christina a consummate professional to organize his life. While she sees him as a arrogant playboy there is something about him that intrigues her. He wants to break down her walls. He can’t understand why he sees her so differently than other women. I loved this book! I love a romance that will make me laugh. There are some really hot moments in the book too. Fabulous HEA! I obtained an arc and left a honest review.

I did not like this book at all. I didn't feel any connection between the character to myself that made me like either of them. There was so much back and forth that it made my head spin.

A good start for a new author. I enjoyed the hero and heroine together and their banter. The story was fun. The last 20% or so of this book was by far my favorite part. That's when you really get to see the characters evolve. (And where all the sweet actions happen.) The majority of the book, the two are fighting for what they each want. He wants her, plain and simple. No doubt she is attracted to him, but he is a client and she doesn't date clients, plus he is somewhat of a playboy. He doesn't give up in his quest. He's starting to wear her down. His character is a cross between your typical playboy billionaire and a flaky carefree not-so-starving artist. He tosses his money around like nothing. She's referred to as a cold b*tch because of her attitude on the job, but needs to be that way when dealing with the men she works with. Of course when he finally gets her in his bed, she is anything but... and he loves that even more.

A couple things I didn't care for (SPOIL ALERT)... he is a billionaire who isn't used to hearing the word 'No' and doesn't waste time trying to get in her pants. She's rejected him several times on her first day, and he still has the gall to instruct her to come to his bedroom where he makes inappropriate advances. I know for the story, it was meant to show us that she wanted him, just as much as he wanted her, but for some reason that rubbed me the wrong way. Especially since he was in dire need of her services. You'd think he'd give her a little time to warm up to him (while she's working for him) before he made such a move. But I guess, for the length of the book (pretty short for a novel) the author had to rush things with the characters to get the whole story told. Another negative for me was his character in the beginning. I can't pin point exactly what it was, but I didn't care for him at first. (But then that made everything that happened in the ending even better.) There were a few things he did/said that made me laugh, so I didn't totally hate him, and I guess I should give him props for never giving up. :D

There is a lot of sexual innuendos or talk but only one or two actual scenes. There are some laughs. There's a little bit of sweet. It's easy to read (alternating POVs.) It is a rather quick read, and the book actually ends at about the 70% mark. I would say this is suitable for mature readers.

"I received a complimentary copy of this book and have volunteered to leave a review."

Second book I have read by Alex Wolf and I am pleased with the improvement of his writing. I knew he will impress me soon.

Matthew Spencer has a singular way of living his life. He has a scheduled daily programme to make each day flow seamlessly. Unfortunately, like any other automated solutions, it has its cons. Matthew is in need of a personal business manager.

Christina has the reputation of being the best choice for his problems. She is also being called 'the bitch' while working. She can handle any disability, any type of stiff costumers. However, when being in the same room with Matthew, Christina's demeanour shifts to wild. He pushes all her wrong bottoms to no end. He even surface forbidden thoughts in her mind. Not to mention, he is making things extremely unprofessional.

Even though for me, Shagged doesn't fit well as a title, I very much like its storyline. It is unique, thoughtful and refreshing. A love affair no similar to others. Not to mention how hot the sex scenes are. However, I find the narration a bit lacking and incomplete. While I enjoyed reading about their undercover attraction I missed the feels and the sizzle of it. I missed the romance tale. Maybe is was Matty's douchy character. I really can't tell. Fortunately, this doesn't last long and I was rewarded with a heartwarming HEA ending. Alex Wolf is indeed coming along with his writing, he can definitely be into erotica genre and, believe me, Shagged won't be my last read by him. Until next time, enjoy your free time reading great books with the most unforgettable stories.

Hello to my new BBF - Matty Spencer = HOT

"If there was one thing that Matty Spencer knew. it was that he was an asshole."

This sums up perfectly my first impressions of Matty Spencer. Alex Wolf gave a superb introduction to Matty and his lifestyle. It is amazing how first impressions can affect the way in which you assume a character will be. Rich, arrogant, confident, cocky, but Matty has a flaw - he is totally disorganised when it comes to his business life. As a result he decides to hire someone who can organise and help plan his daily schedule.....enter Christine Smith. Confident, determined, independent and very good at her job. What will happen when these to meet?

This was the first book by Alex Wolf that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I found his writing to be easy to read, the visions he gave through his descriptions were superb. The way in which he allowed his story to develop and flow, had me ensnared and wanting to see what was coming next. There was humour, wit, a touch of angst, and a very very hot sexy scene contained within these pages.

As a new author, I was impressed with Alex's writing and I look forward to reading many more of his books in the future. A recommended read.

Christina is a no nonsense, straight forward, organized and motivated woman. She works hard and is focused on her career. She is an assistant to the wealthy and unorganized. She gets their shambles of a life in order and helps them be more efficient in running not only their lives but their companies.
Matty Spencer is the definition of a HOT mess. When a colleague suggest he hire Christina to get his life and business and Order he is reluctant but when his Hi-Tech virtual assistant screws up a meeting he figures he has no other choice.
Hiring Christina bringing her into his life to organize it what's something that should have been simple and all professional and only business however Sparks Fly attraction is obvious on both accounts and they can't stop the sizzling electric chemistry.
After one night Everything Changes both are confused and aren't sure what to do but when Christina gets a call from home and has to face a family emergency Matty assumes the worst when he finds out the truth what will happen?
This was a super fun read,
I love Alex Wolf's work he never leaves me disappointed ever this is an absolute must read.

Can you say hot? Holy smokes, I think I need a cold shower after reading this book! It’s a little bit naughty and a little bit sweet. It’s the perfect mix, really. Very well written story with developed characters.

Matty Spencer is a very wealthy man. A very wealthy man with his life in shambles. His appointments are all messed up, his house is in disarray, and his bills are sitting in a stack on his desk, unnoticed.
Enter Christina. Her job is to organise men like Matty and show them what they’re doing wrong. She has a reputation of being a cold bitch, and rightly so. Her abrupt demeanour demands respect and doesn’t allow for any misunderstandings.

Straight off the bat these two have a chemistry, albeit a frosty one. They can’t seem to agree on anything and are both stubborn to a fault. I loved watching them slowly change the more they got to know each other. Finding out those little bits they kept hidden from others was an added bonus, and one that made them more human.

Fantastic release for Alex Wolf, and definitely an author to watch!

What a phenomenal read!

The chemistry that these two have from the start is amazing! They seem to connect and open up with one another in ways they never have with anyone else!

Matty isn’t the man that you would expect to fall in love with he’s disorganized and he’s arrogant and doesn’t think about money when making decisions because it’s something he’s always had.

Christina works hard to tidy up others lives and takes pride in it. She isn’t the girly girl and doesn’t put up with anyone or anything!

Matty hires Christina to fix the disorganization that the house computer “Mia” has messed up and from the moment Christina walks in the door to Matty’s mansion her life will forever be changed!

What could possibly perspire from the two when they are completely opposite and their lives say they want completely different things.

Jump into this amazing story and watch the sparks fly with these two! You won’t regret it! It captivated me and had me in tears by the time I got to the end! 5 stars from me Alex Wolf!

Matthew Spencer is an incredibly wealthy bachelor desperately trying to complete his father's last professional project.

He has absolutely no idea what he is doing and is unable to organise himself, or his staff, to ensure developments are made.

In a bid to organise himself and on the recommendation of a colleague, he employs the services of Christina Smith, a P.A. whose professional reputation indicates that she is exactly what 'Matty' needs.

It cannot be denied that Matthew Spencer is wealthy but he is also spoiled and petulant and reminds me of an angry toddler who has a tantrum when he doesn't get his own way!

Very quickly he decides he wants Christina and works tirelessly to get her.

The intimate scenes between Christina and Matthew are hot to say the least and in the end both Matthew and Christina get their HEA.

However, I really felt that the background story which, in my opinion, adds a bit of substance to a novel, got lost in the mad dash to HEA.

This story is about Matty, a disorganised owner of an English software organising company, and the American Christina, who is hired to organise him. Matty comes across as a totally arrogant a$$, demanding, entitled, and inert. He doesn’t seem to care about his business, although he does worry about it. Christina is softness itself covered by hard edges. Initially, Matty sees her as an beautiful object; when he starts to develop feelings for her, they are so foreign he doesn't recognise them. Why would Christina fall for this man? His passion lies elsewhere, and Christina sees this. Christina has to return home for a family emergency, Matty steps in-in a big way, and redeems himself. I found the flow of the book a bit jagged in the beginning, and then it smoothed itself out. I liked Christina, but it was harder to connect with Matty, although I did come around eventually.

I received an arc of this book and have voluntarily reviewed it.

Alex Wolf is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. This is his second book and he has again hit it out of the park!

I loved the steamy chemistry between Matty and Christina. Matty is drawn to Christina in a way he’s not felt before, all he knows is he must have her. Christina, as much as she knows she needs to resist because he technically is her employer at the moment, cannot seem to deny what her body and heart wants.

I loved their connection and how it genuinely grew as they spent more time together and began opening up, letting the other in.

I loved that Christina is an alpha herself. Matty has definitely met his match and she can give as good as she gets! I love their banter and the sexy, hot chemistry…HOT, HOT, HOT!!!

Great characters with an intriguing storyline, all in a well-written book. You CANNOT go wrong with this one! Alex Wolf is an author you want to check out, you won’t be disappointed.

At first, I didn’t know what to make of this story. There is a fine line between arrogance and confidence, and let me tell you, Matty was as arrogant as they come. So many times, I wanted to smack him in the face. Christina, I didn’t know what to make of her at first. She wanted to keep her professional and personal life separated. At first, she stuck to her rigid professional beliefs, and then the next minute…well, she caved in to her desires, and boy did the bed sheets flare up! Hot and steamy those two were. Both Matty and Christina were stubborn, and the journey of their developing relationship was entertaining to read.

My favorite scene was when Matty came to Christina with a chart showing that he “…can afford a bloody meal at a restaurant.” I laughed so loudly at that part I had someone ask me what was so funny. That’s good writing when you can make a reader laugh out loud like that, and then make the person talk about the book.

Matty is rich and is used to getting his way in his personal and professional life. He hires Christina to help organize his business and life because his artificial intelligence app Mia that runs his house and business calendar has issues. Mia has caused him to miss important business meetings which can cost him important clients. Matty doesn't like people in general and uses them for his benefit. That was until Christina walks in and there was something about her that caught his attention.
Christina is good at her job and is known to be a cold bitch. She never mixes business with pleasure until Mattie sets his sites on her. They have this push pull love hate vibe that pulls them together until they can't resist the chemistry that's pulling them together. Don't miss out this fun, feisty, hot read.

Shagged is a short, sexy romance. Wealth does not always bring order, nor does an unfinished software system in this story's case.

Matty Spencer is in need of assistance with his personal organization. His life is in disarray and the smart-home software that should help him isn't cutting it. So he hires a personal assistant.

Christina Smith organizes for a living. Matty Spencer is not her usual client, he younger and very attractive. Christina doesn't mix business with pleasure but Matty has other ideas.

Matty is not my favorite character. He's a bit of a rich, spoiled ass. I even mauled over reasons for his behavior, diagnosing him with either ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) or possibly Asperger's. He really irked me. From the start, Matty comes off too strong, maybe there could have been a little more seduction. I did enjoy the sweet ending. 3 Stars

When Matty Spencer realizes his life is a mess and hires a highly recommended PA, he doesn’t expect to get Christina Smith. She’s too contained for his taste and he wants to break her demeanor and find out what makes her tick whatever the cost.
This is my third read by the author and the one I’ve liked best. Shagged is a short story about complete opposites that fall prey of the immediate attraction they have for each other.
Though I’m not a fan of insta-love and the bulk of the story develops over a short period of time, there’s an explanation for it and I ended up enjoying it to the very end.
I’d love if the author had further developed the characters’ background stories, but it was an overall entertaining read.
