I was reunited with Livingston Montgomery in the broad sunshine of a Carolina morning, right where she belonged; in the light.
It’d been too long since I’d seen her face.
She had changed, but so had I.
I was Adam Nova, reformed bad boy.  Now, successful business man.
I had it all, except for the one person I’d always wanted, and now I was back to claim her.
She was liv

A stunning and emotionally charged conclusion to Adam and Livingston's epic love story.

It's 10 years later and Liv and Adam's lives have changed so much. Liv is no longer the star gazing dreamer but a realist who has forgotten to 'look up'.

Adam, who had three years of his life stolen from him unfairly (understatement) has come out of it all much stronger and very rich, he invented a star gazing app that has done really well. So he

Edit: CONFIRMED when I asked if both have been celibate... By Author herself said and I quote. “What do you think? What would you want? I left that up to the readers imagination”.

I decided to call it quits. @68%
After a long week of trying to push myself to finish this I just can’t do it anymore.
I’m very disappointed in this book.
And before you ask me about their celibacy confirmation the author left it to open to interpretation. I’m 100% sure she has been celibate because she has been pining

“Adam Nova had been gorgeous at nineteen. At twenty-nine he was the stuff dreams were made of.”

Since finishing Beneath His Stars I just could not wait to get my hands on the stunning conclusion of Amie Knights Stars Duet, In Her Space. To put it simply, wow! This story was so emotionally driven and it packed a massive punch in all the right ways. I thrived on the intensity, passion, electrifying chemistry and the anticipation of young lovers reunited.

In Beneath His Stars we meet Liv and Ada

‘We could have burned the world down. Maybe we did. Maybe we’d burned too bright. Too big. Until we’d just snuffed out.’

“Look at the stars, Liv. If you feel alone. Don’t forget to look up.”

This duet was and is everything we love about reading. It brought us back to how we used to feel reading YA books like this back in the day. It felt old school. Amie Knight brought us back and we loved every minute of this coming of age romance between two teenagers from opposite si

After finishing Beneath His Stars I couldn't be patient and read anything else but In Her Space, the second novel in The Stars Duet. Livingston and Adam are the definition of star-crossed lovers, soul mates with a history that pushes them apart and leaves them both fighting what's meant to be. We read about their romance and now, ten years later, we get to read about their future, who they are as grown ups, and how life has turned out so very different than readers could've ever expected. Both h

4.5 second chance stars!

Oh, how I love a second-chance-romance! The drama, the angst, the longing and intensity, and the romantic bliss that is two people who are so meant to be, coming back together. And that is exactly what this book is. After being so brutally ripped apart at the end of Beneath His Stars, Adam and Liv are reunited once again, and it’s everything I was hoping it would be, finishing off the duet beautifully.

It’s been ten years (*sniff*) since that fateful night. Liv is now 26

With the way things ended in Beneath His Stars I couldn’t wait to get my hands on In Her Space...well, that isn’t the entire truth. I wanted the book, badly, but I was also a little scared about what direction things may take because, let’s be honest, the cliffy at the end of BHS was pretty intense and things could have gone in any number of ways. But my curiosity about finding out what Liv and Adam would have to go through to get their HEA was stronger, so I dov

3,701 “you can’t dream with your eyes open” stars

This author has once again brought us the most beautiful and captivating romance in the conclusion to the Stars duet.

After the cliffhanger ending of book one, I was afraid that the years following would not be kind to Adam, that he would’ve become tainted by the horror of his surroundings and turned into someone unrecognisable from that caring, sweet young man of 10 years ago. I worried that he would have become bitter and twisted, a shadow of hi

In Her Space picks up ten years...yep you did read that right...TEN long freaking YEARS after that epic cliffhanger ending in Beneath His Stars. All I could think was thank goodness we didn't have to wait that long to see what happened because there is no way I could have waited longer than a few weeks. My heart wept for Liv and Adam in the first book of the Stars Duet and I could hardly handle the new round of emotions that hit me full force when

Beneath His Stars ended on such a tragic cliffhanger. My poor heart wanted a quick resolution with In Her Space. Those first couple of pages I thought I was going to get it. Amie Knight had different plans and what she gave us was simply a lovely story.

Liv Montgomery is not the same girl. She’s grown and matured. She’s still got that sass, but some of her glow is gone.

Adam Nova isn’t the same boy. He’s paid his dues and is the kind of man he wants to be. He’s determined to get his Livvy back.

This is the perfect conclusion to Liv and Adam's story. I was left feeling a bit unsure at the end of Beneath His Stars but this book clears up every single unsure feeling. Liv and Adam are both still keeping secrets but their love is very evident that it never died when they were torn apart ten years before. I loved every page!

This the second and final book in The Stars Duet, and after reading Beneath His Stars, I was SOO excited to get this book as BHS ends in a cliffhanger. BHS is everything you would want in a YA romance novel, but both Adam & Liv seem so much older than they are even in that story. But, I really liked how In Her Space felt more like an adult novel - they are older, and the changes in both of them and their friends were exciting.

After reading the Prologue, I was shocked, disappointed and then

Ever since I was young, when I’ve looked up at the night sky I’ve always looked for Orion. He’s the hunter in the night sky. He’s also the constellation I always find myself looking for and thinking of whenever I look up at night. Admittedly that’s probably because it’s the easiest constellation for me to find, but there’s always been a part of me that’s connected to that particular constellation. Orion is always there, and always just one look above.

“He was the love of my life. He was my biggest tragedy.” Beneath His Stars, the first book of this duet, left Liv and Adam in the most hopeless and desperate of situations. It's ten years later, and after a decade of no contact, Adam is home. Now, if I were writing this book, Liv and Adam would fall into each other's arms, dispel the years that separated them with one heated look, and be invincible together, obliterating every obstacle in their path. This is definitely NOT that book. While we do ...more

Nice Follow-up Book

After finishing Beneath His Stars, I could not wait to get my grubby hands on this book. We were left with so much hanging, I wasn’t sure how it was all going to end.

Adam is still one of my favorite bad boys. Even a three-year prison stint didn't dull the shine on his stars. He came out more romantic, muscular and determined to get his girl back. There have been a lot of changes in everybody since Adam has been gone and now it's his turn to catch up and make things right.

After finishing Beneath His Stars there was one thing I was desperate for – In Her Space, so I could finish the wonderful Stars duet that had left me hooked. Honestly, book one was beautiful, and I went in with extremely high hopes for book two.

At first, I was a wee bit surprised. In Her Space did not play out in the way I had imagined. Time has moved forward, and there is a very different kind of history to what I had anticipated between the characters. It threw me for a moment, but I was quick

This is book two of a duet. You NEED to read book one first "Beneath his stars".

Years gone by, the past just that. The future isn't avoidance it's head on, in your face.. right here. right now.

Two left behind, bonded by a common love, a sence of loss shared.

dreams became nightmares, freedom lost long ago. Hearts given and promises made.

Silences of awkwardness, pauses of time and space. A yearning for the ease of the past, to be as they were and not as they are.

Liv with the beautiful soul. A daz

Earlier this month, I read and reviewed the first book of this duet, Beneath His Stars. The story of star-crossed lovers, Adam and Livingston, drew me right in and I was intrigued to read more. After receiving a small glimpse of the second book, In Her Space, I was especially curious about the course Adam’s life would take.

Beneath His Stars is the story of Adam Nova and Livingston Montgomery, two young people from two different worlds connected by a bridge. Adam lives in Madison, a place overrun

In Her Space is the brilliant conclusion to the Stars Duet following on from Beneath His Stars. Amie just smashed this book out of the park for me, it had me constantly held on an emotional edge of pain and loss ready to ball my eyes out at any moment. Why? All because the magic between Adam and Liv had diminished and I was ready for them to fight for each other - and they do.

In Her Space brings us to 10 years after that cliffhanger ending of Beneath His Stars. After 3 years in prison, Adam is a

I love Amie Knight’s stories because they have this ethereal element, more than lust and sex, something spiritual that brings a couple together and binds them forever. Sort of like a soulmates vibe. In this conclusion of her Stars duet, we see Liv and Adam, ten years later after their explosive separation, and the love and devotion is as deep as when they were teenagers. The only effect of time is that they never communicated during those years and now they think that the other hates them, so th ...more
