You know that moment when you finish a book and realize, wait, it was just a story, and now you have to set down the book and get back to “real life”? And you try, but the book’s message still lingers in your heart and because of its quality has planted a real-life compassion and understanding of the message delivered in the novel. That how I feel when it comes to Michaela Bush’s books.

This was adorable. So, so sweet.
-- Writing: Easy to read, flowed nice, and again, the artistic POV was precious.
-- Setting: I haven't been up North (unless Indiana counts? xD) so the setting is new to me, but it was very vivid and quaint! Well done.
-- Story/Plot: It stayed true to book one while continuing the journey of all the characters... it was sweet! The story wasn't boring or drab. It was steady, made me smile and I could relate/understand to some of the issues... For the topics and situ
