it's a very short book read in one sitting that feels more like a long blog post than an actual book. The tips are mostly relevant but if you are not a beginner language learner, these will already be fairly obvious to you. Thus the lower rating.

-"language learning is basketball (...) not learned by putting your head in a book, but by getting your head in the game. (...) you forget what you learn, but you acquire what you practice"
-on finding reading material in your TL: try wikipedia
-Chunking method: review a small part of bigger content multiple times -> breaking down the content for easier assimilation

Short and simple book but it's ok

It's a simple book with some interestings tips. You can find those tips easily on google but it's ok. Being a "tips" book, the best thing you can do is to pick up the ones you like. My advice, read the book one tip at the time. As a language learner I got some tips I think can be usefull to my goals.
