Sacrifice Me

Sacrifice Me, Season Two: Part 1

Rate this book
Sometimes it’s our sacrifices that define us.

In the Brotherhood of Darkness, killing a fellow vampire is an offense punishable by death. So why haven’t they summoned Rend to answer for the Devil’s murder? It’s been months since the attack, and though Rend and Franki have settled into a new life together, the threat of judgment hangs over them like an ominous cloud.

But there are other threats just as dangerous as the Brotherhood of Darkness. Threats like the Mother Crow and what exactly she wants with Franki after all these years.

They cling tightly to each other as the gathering storm approaches, but when it finally arrives, it’s not at all what they feared.

It’s much, much worse.

Vampires. Demons. Witches. Shifters. Season Two of Sacrifice Me begins with an explosive Part 1 you won’t be able to put down.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

Wow...wow...wow.

From Prologue to Cliffhanger this book had me hooked.

Franki and Rend have always been my favorite Cannon couple and this book did not waiver that feeling. Their commitment to each other is amazing and unbreakable. This is what makes the book so thrilling. For every action they do in the name of love the heartbreak is real.

In this season, part 1, we get to meet a new character, Connery; however those who have read other work from Cannon recognizes him from a short story she wrote. We also get to learn more about Azure and Silas. Marco is there and I am so darn curious about him and I hope we find out more.

In this season we are learning more about the Crow Witches and the Mother Crow. With every crumb we are getting the more eager I am to know more.

Franki has spent some time in one of the abandoned villages and has found something there that could help her in her quest to learn about herself and the witches she is related to. But will this find be her answer or lead her to more questions?

I could gush about this book all day, but I am not one that gives away a lot of spoilers. So I am going to say this...Season 2 is not going to disappoint and I highly encourage anyone that is curious about this book to pick it up and give it a go.

All I can say is...WOW!

What a story! Sarra definitely brought this story to life! It felt like I was right there within the pages experiencing and fighting right alongside the characters. I was so caught up with everything going on that I was afraid of missing out on a major plot point if I stopped reading. Sarra definitely knows how to draw in her intended audience and keep them interested, that’s for sure! She wrote this segment well and never strayed away from the story.

In this segment, we worry and wonder about Rend’s punishment for fighting against and killing some of his own, the Brotherhood. While we await the Council’s decision with a sense of doom and dread, some of our other questions get answered: How Venom was created and why, Azure finally opens up and tells Franki the story of how she and Rend met, and why Azure feels she owes Rend. We also learn more about Silas and what his motive is and where he has been since the fight against the Brotherhood.

But not only were some questions answered, there were even more questions arising throughout the story as well. Most of my newly found questions factor around the women and children of the crow village who live with the Mother Crow, especially Franki’s “real” mother (her birth mother and not the poor excuse of a “mother” that Franki was raised by). I am dying to know more about her and what she has been enduring from the Mother Crow all this time.

But I must admit, I was completely blindsided by the cliffhanger. I totally did not see that one coming at all, and I am dying for more. I can’t wait to see what the next episode entails and what Sarra has up her sleeves for all of her captivated fans.

I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

Wow 😮

Absolutely loved this book!
Frankie escaped one evil in the previous season but more evil lurks just around the corner for her!
Frankie and Rend wait anxiously for him to get summoned by the brotherhood to determined his fate for the crime committed against them in getting Frankie back... What lies in wait and has yet to come to light?
Have wheels been in motion since Frankie was born that will now come between the new love she has with Rend, with both their lives resting in others hands.
Or will they have to ride this storm they find themselves sucked into to find out whether or not they will make it to the otherside not just to see if their love will make it through this trying time in the fight but will they make it out with the lives in tack as well.???
Or will this next part of season leave use with the greatest sacrifice being made??? Can't wait to find out!
Cliffhanger an omg😱 moment that for sure! And so many emotions are felt not by only the characters but us readers in this book. 😭
Have come to love Rend and Frankie even more as well as all the crew from venom family and people that help them in the fight they find themselves in. Glad we get to have these side characters from Shadow Demons series story to enjoy and getting a closer bond with 😍 xoxo

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Wish I hadn’t started reading this!
On the edge of my seat... loved it!
But now I have to wait for part 2.

Fantastic to get back to Frankie and Rend, loved their story in the 1st book and now we follow on further into their relationship and the consequences of Rends action.
Twists and turns along the way and further inteoductions to newer characters.

Characters from beautiful demons are effortlessly swept in and out along the story line.

Just a brilliant addition to Sarras on going list of books that just get better and better.

I now excitedly await part 2

Sacrifice me season 2 part 1 by Sarra cannon is the first part of the second book in the sacrifice me series. This series follows Franki as she one day is drawn to a club called venom- a safe place for supernatural beings.
This book is written in first person past tense and provides two perspectives.
Rend, who is the owner of venom who is awaiting his trial in the brotherhood of darkness for his crimes in the first book.
Franki, who is worried for her partner Rend and is determined to find her mother, is terrified when she finds out that her best friend Katy is locked under a curse made by the mother crow.
All in all, this book was great. The cliffhangers at each chapter end was well done.

I received an ARC for a honest review and Sarra has done it again!! The ups, the downs, the ‘OMG’ moments to the cliffhanger leaving you desperately wanting more... This has it all.
I’ve found that Sarra has a way of writing, that makes me feel that i’m right there feeling and going through everything’s that’s happening right along with the characters. (And if you’ve read Season one you know that a lot of stuff happens to Franki, Rend and the rest of the crew)
So if you haven’t read this yet then what are you waiting for?? Get on it!

More witch & demon fun from Sarra Cannon. I devoured this quicker than a rogue vampire having a quick snack! The Mother Crow is back in all her perverted and deviant splendour and the apparent traps which have been laid throughout will delight all readers of the paranormal genre. Rend's "Summoning" sequence is especially convoluted - sort of a "Who's Doing What To Whom" scenario. Once again, Harper & her guys lend a hand where possible. I'm still getting used to the "episode" format but as long as the tale gets told, I won't complain.

Sarra can spin one heck of a story, and that’s exactly what she did here. Riveting from beginning to end, it took me less than a day to read, and I wish like crazy I hadn’t finished it so soon! The cliffhanger was a nail biter, and I won’t be satisfied until I can finish the season!

Excellent , just like all of Sarra’s books! But seriously this book does not disappoint and I cannot wait to read season 2, part 2. It did take me a minute to remember what had happened in the previous book, but I was very quickly engulfed in the shadow demon/ Venom world and could not get enough. I am super intrigued to find out what happens next!

Franki and Rend each have major issues

Whew! Individualy Framki and Rend face some serious issues. Ones they will have to face alone as consequences from their last adventures catch up to them. And Franki is still trying to finish college as finals draw near. We see some old friends too. Now I need to start the finale.

This was a pretty good book, although there was a tad too much romance for my taste! It was interesting to learn more about the vampires and the crow witches, and the cliffhanger at the end of the book... wow! Can't wait for the second part to come out!

It's amazing how many sacrifices we take for granted or steal without people's knowledge, I do hope Franki & Rend survive this round!!

Quick books, the short nature of these books makes them fast to read through and easy to put down. I enjoyed Frankie’s story and how the character developed over the story
