It's all over, and my heart is breaking.

I don't know what comes next in my life, now?

I mean, other than, like, a billion re-reads.

To be honest, I'm not sure I'm going to write a review for this one.

I don't know if I can.

I went into this knowing nothing but the same cliffhanger we all got with Graevale, and I want that experience to be the same for everyone else who reads this book.

I think if you've come this far, you've earned it.

So I'm not going to say anything about the plot. Or th

I am a mess of emotions and I don't think I'll be able to get my thoughts and feelings across in a coherent review so bullet points for the win.

• Straight up this book made me cry not once, not twice, but three times!!! I have stressed previously how rare this is for me. I did the maths. Around 2% of the books I read make me cry, and two books from that series are a part of that 2%. And again, three times!!
• Not only did this book made me cry, I was even laughing while crying at one point. Like

Don’t fear the shadows. Make the shadows fear you.

What a way to end this fantastic that i have come to love and enjoy over the last three and half years, thank you Lynette for writing this amazing series.

Plot: This book picks up after the events from the pervious book and Alex is now making her way to Tia Auras to try get the people to come join her fight against Aven and hopefully end up winning this war. I have really enjoyed reading th

After binge reading most of the Medoran Chronicles last year, I’m totally swept away by the creativity and the addictiveness of this series! I loved how this book stays true to the tone of the series and the conclusion is everything you ever hoped for. From Alex first discovering the Akarnae Academy, to learning about her abilities and gathering allies against Aven, it’s been an incredible journey from start to finish – and we couldn’t have asked for a better end to the journey!

This book really broke me. And everytime I reread it, it breaks me a little bit more. And I reread it A LOT.

I can't believe this series is over. I love this series so, so much and I thank Lynette Noni for writing it. So much love.

Firstly, this book was the perfect ending to the series. Page turning and funny, with the cutest romance, this book was amazing. And the plot twists and reveals, just wow. I just have to say, Kaiden and Alex are one of my ultimate favourite ships because god, those two

Having read the first four books in rapid succession (and with little sleep) about a year ago, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the final book in The Medoran Chronicles, Vardaesia, and I’m glad to say it did not disappoint.

The first half of this book has Alex and Kaiden travelling to Tia Auras to enlist their help in the upcoming showdown with Aven. Alex and her friends are put through a series of tests to prove themselves, and while there Alex learns some new things about the ancient prophecy

Re-read 2019:
I cried on my way to work. Got so much love for this book and for all of the fun times reading it. Such a solid finale to an incredible series!

Original review:
I was so incredibly lucky to have received an early arc from Pantera Press (best Christmas present ever!), and I only have one thing to say:

Y'all ain't ready.

Say hello to my 4th read through. This might become a yearly thing.

Sooo I only re-read this last month, but it finally came out this week and this time, I re-read it via audiobook. I don't think I'll ever be tired of visiting the Medoran Chronicles. Like, I honestly love this series and this world so much in a way I never expected to. I feel like I'll be re-reading this series and this book all year just because I've read this ending three times and I'm *still* not ready t

Absolutely phenomenal ending to what has been a breathtaking journey of strength, courage and friendship. The Medoran Chronicles has been an Australian institution for the last four years and five books and a novella series later, it's finally come to an end. From Akarnae to Vardaesia, to the heights of the Draekorans above the City of Meya, Lynette Noni has captivated and delighted readers with her unlikely group of heroes and enchantingly atmospheric world of Medora, it's been a privilege.

Niyx deserved better. I deserved better.

She could have saved Niyx via time travel?!? Watch me be mad for all eternity. Bet.
Kind of anticlimactic ending tbh.

All the stars I can give it

This series has been amazing and it's a bit sad that it's over really.

I remember starting it and thinking that it was just a standard YA read with standard YA tropes but it just hooked me.

The world building Is a massive part of that. Just phenomenal. So many different worlds, so many of the same worlds but different. Just amazing writing that transports you there.

The characters though are the true stars here. Alex Is such a great leader and I love how she's not perfect
This whole series is honestly so addicting! And Vardaesia is a very satisfying conclusion to it.

Yes, the whole series suffers a bit too much from the Chosen One syndrome but, what the hell, it's still so enjoyable. The characters and the world are so fleshed out that it's very easy to immerse oneself in the story which, ultimately, makes it harder to let go of.

I will miss the characters and the world so much.

4.5 stars (seriously goodreads when are you going to bring in the half stars?)

If you haven’t read this series yet, go now. Go buy this series and start reading!

I still can’t believe how much I love this series! Book 1 just didn’t do this adventure justice. It’s been a while since I almost hesitantly read the last page of a book, not wanting to bring these characters and story to a close. I adored everything about this last book. It had everything a conclusion needed to satisfy. High stakes? Chec

OHMYGOSH! This series was honestly so spectacularly phenomenal! One of THE MOST exciting and fun series I've EVER read!
Honestly, I have no words for how amazing the characters, the world, the adventures were...

Since I'm kind of numb and speechless that this amazing journey is over, and since words can't do justice to how I feel, I will come back at a later time once I'm done reeling and write proper reviews for all the books!!!

I have literally put this book off since it came out.

Unfortunately I was disappointed by Graevale. I read that book twice to see if I changed my mind but I didn't. That resulted me in almost dnf'ing this series, don't get me wrong - I've enjoyed this series along the way, but I just didn't have motivation to continue after feeling very bitter about the penultimate book.

I'm glad I decided to push myself to read this book in the end. Vardaesia is not the perfect finale, but I genuinel

**EDIT** now review embargo has been lifted I can share more of my thoughts..

It was an amazing finish to a great series and I found the ending to be quite clever, not what I had expected but I also feel it’s left it open.. I believe there is scope for more but hey that’s just me.. I loved how the book tied in the series together but embarked on a whole new adventure of 6 tests/gates - each leaving me on the edge of my seat and the interesting twists of getting introduced to new and exciting char

This book finished the Medoran Chronicles on a really high note. It had twists and turns that I totally did not see coming, my heart stopped many times when reading this book and seriously, it has all the feels that a human can handle. Be prepared for all the heart and wonder that you expect to experience from the previous novels. I loved that it ties up all the books in this series really well. For Alex, the stakes are higher than ever and I have absolutely enjoyed spending time with our favour ...more

I am in love with this serie! I wish I had a sentient Library :)

I went through it all during these 5,5 books (but really 6), I laughed and I cried like I haven't in a while, and I am so happy for it!

I had be looking out to the end of this serie for years, and now I'm so happy (as you can see I'm really happy) to learn that there will be more. The story is not over, Alex's story has ended, but there will be new adventures!

While I was reading We Three Heroes, I found myself crying because the stor

Such a satisfying conclusion to a long series! Really wrapped everything up well and didn't feel too rushed. Of course there is always more I want to see from my favourite characters, but everyone got to have their moment.
