The word Strength definitely belongs in the title of this book! Hayden had strength like no other! She battled to overcome her past, she fought and held faith that she would have the man she loved and she stayed strong when that past tried to hurt her again. And through it all she held her and her sons life together without breaking.
Crooner had demons of his own and battles in his mind that kept him from giving in. I was so glad when he got his head out his butt and claimed her and made a family.
Hayley Faiman is most definitely one of my favorite MC authors! She always gives me a hot steamy love story with the perfect amount angst to keep me glued to my Kindle! I sure hope another set of characters get a story. I would love to see it play out!!!

This book was AMAZING Hayley dose it yet again this book had it all it was intriguing, perfect it brings out so many feels and owns you! This story was everything I was hooked from chapter one more review to come!!

This book held me in its clutches from the very beginning. I remember her from the first book and was looking forward to her story. I could NOT put this book down until the very last page and even then the book stuck with me.
I loved Hayden so much. She is a survivor and when most people would break she does what it takes to survive. She has been through so much in her young life and she is finally starting to be independent and find some happiness. Now if only the man that she loves would stop pushing her away only to pull her back again. She is has had enough and is ready to move on but the past has a way of creeping up on you when you least expect it.
Crooner wants Hayden with all his being but not only does he think he's too old for her but he doesn't think he is any good for her. He is demanding, possessive and controling and Hayden needs freedom. He knows he is hurting her by the push and pull act is plays but he can't stay away. Finally determined to talk things out and figure it out he may be too late.
Will Hayden give up on Crooner and find someone else? What happens when the past comes knocking?

Loaded with scorching heat, nail biting suspense, and deeply emotional love Chased With Strength is a book that completely takes you over the second you start reading. The story gripped me and I could not put this book done for even a second while I was reading. Hayley Faiman has a fantastic way of writing a story that is full of romance that sweeps you off your feet while still maintaining the raw grit of the MC world.
While there is sweetness, Chased With Strength isn’t sugarcoated. This perfect blending of romance and gritty realness makes not only an incredible story but fully brings the characters to life. I’ve been dying for Crooner and Hayden’s story and while I expected a lot I had no idea I would be so blown away by these two. Crooner has been fighting his feelings for Hayden since day one. With his own demons along with all Hayden has been put through he just cannot see his own worth.
While Hayden doesn’t even try to hide how she feels about him, she also doesn’t want to be a doormat ever again. Her focus is to make life better for not only her, but her son. My heart hurt for both of them as they battled their way to each other, but while the road they took was winding and full of bumps the love they share is more than worth it. Their relationship isn’t perfect but it’s real and their love is powerful.

I love all of Hayley Faimans books they always become instant five star reads by the first page , Chased with strength can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest that you read Laced with Fear first you might run into some spoilers if you don't . I always fall for the heroines before the heroes because they can be very frustrating at times but once they get over there hang ups and claim their women I fall deeply for them . Hayden is a wonderful character we met her in the first book in the Cash Bar series she comes across as shy and guarded rightfully so due to her past but once we get to meet her more she's a spit fire and such a beautiful , kind , and great mother to an adorable boy . As I said before it did take me some time to fall for Crooner but when I did YUM-MY he's alpha protective , strong ,the way he is with the heroines son just made me melt , plus he's talented in and out of the bedroom . The storyline had me hooked from start to finish , the sex scenes were HOT HOT HOT lovable secondary characters that I can't wait to see find the one ,and couples that have already found the one . You don't want to miss out on this amazing story and if the author is new to you check her out one click every one of Hayleys stories you wont regret it .

Let's start off by saying that Hayley is one of my favorite author's as she always creates wonderful character's for us to love and cry over each and every-time.
Crooner & Hayden made one hot super couple.the sparks and chemistry and the love they had for one another made it so easy to love and read about them and their amazing love story.
Hayden and Crooner have had past history albeit not a intimate one as Crooner took part in saving her from a hellish life that was filled with abuse and sexual slavery but, from the moment they meet each other they forged a bond with one another that would last a lifetime. The connection and trust between them was so strong that it was easy for Hayden to start trusting someone again and begin the healing process and Crooner was a big part of that.We fell in love with Crooner for the patience and kindness he showed her and her child.From the very beginning of their meeting each other Crooner started falling in love even though he fought it every step of the way.

I loved how they deeply cared for one another even when they were apart and that their intense friendship developed into so much more.

I always pick a favorite character and my choice this time around is going to be Crooner as I just loved him from the start.I loved that he was trying to be selfless along with being protective,caring,kind, and dangerous to those who tried to hurt the ones he loved.I found his personality to be larger than life even along with having that dark and dangerous side to him to that we love as well.What I loved most about him was the way he was with baby Easton and how he stepped right into father mode without even realizing it it was something that just came so naturally to him.
I love the lit bit of a cat and mouse game this couple had going on as Crooner was obsessing over Hayden and protecting her from himself and yet fighting the inevitable .He reminded me of a caged tiger more than once.
"It was like whiplash sometimes lol."I understood Crooners reasonings but, I even saw from the beginning it was a doomed cause as he lost his heart to Easton and Hayden from the very beginning of their acquaintance.I think it was love at first sight for him for them both of them.
I have to mention that it amazed me at the strength and determination Hayden had. I loved the way she loved Easton with her whole heart considering that he came into this world because something was taken from her that was not freely given just makes her more amazing to me.Selfless love......
I have to say that I really loved the story from beginning to end as the story line dabbled into subject content that is a growing concern for women today and that if you are strong enough you can rise above the ashes.I loved how something positive came out of a very bad situation and that meeting someone and other someones gave a beautiful soul a second chance at a new life.The story became very emotional at times as both Crooner and Hayden's demons kept creeping up and interfering in their new found relationship but, I loved how they just had to find their way together to overcome those obstacles.
Just made their love stronger....
I will say that as much as I loved see this couple happy and the love grow between them I knew that their happily ever after was going to be a rocky one and it broke my heart for the trials that they would have to incur but, knew one filled with patience ,kindness and understanding would help them to achieve their kind of happiness they both deserved.
Another amazing hot and scorching read that was filled with a great cast of characters that made you laugh as well a want to cry.

I loved when you connect with the characters you read about and I was able to do that as both the main characters Hayden and Crooner and Easton were just so easy to love from the onset of the story.

This is the second installment of the Notorious Devils Cash Bar series by Hayley Faiman.
Why am I such a big fan of Hayley Faiman? Because she always delivers on a story filled with drama, emotional turmoil and exceptional characters. This book is no different.
Usually I am all for opposites attracting but in this case Hayden and Crooner are more alike than they realize. Both are so emotionally damaged from their pasts and want to love and be loved but don't think they deserve it. This author is brilliant in regards to giving us strong, pick yourself up heroines and Hayden has to be the strongest from her back story. But being a mother made her into steel. To watch her deal with her feelings for Crooner then set her mind on where her heart and life is going made me want to stand up and cheer.
Crooner had me exhausted. The man played emotional ping pong with Hayden far too long. But sometimes it takes something startling to realize what you are walking away from. That is what changes everything for Crooner and sets his plan to have Hayden.
The story was amazing, flowing with desire, angst, and action. You won't get perfect characters that go with the guidelines of a cookie cutter story. Instead you get complicated, stubborn, and messy. But the love that comes from this story and characters drives right into your heart.

I waited for this book for a what seemed like forever! We were first introduced to Ward aka Crooner and Hayden in Laced with Fear. Hayden was an underaged mother that the Crooner’s MC rescued from the dastardly Aryans. Right from the moment they met, they gravitated to each other, but there were hurdles to being together - Hayden’s underage and traumatized and Crooner is in his 30’s. Despite these issues, I couldn’t wait to read their book. Hayden is not going to stay underage forever and I wanted to see their story unfold.
Hayley Faiman didn’t disappoint. This book has her signature edgy plot where nobody is safe. You know bad things may happen to your fave characters. My only complaint is that I am so tired of the Aryans. I want to burn them all. We meet a new character and there’s a hint for the next book and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Faiman has in store for us next.

Just wow Hayden is such a strong woman in this book. She is a single mother and does not give up like most would do in her position,
Crooner has known loss but finding his chosen brothers has helped him in the best ways.
These two both just need to be chosen and cherished as themselves and that's it, they are so attracted to each other and just need to let it happen as it should

Hayley Faiman has a way with words that just pulls you in every single time...
The Cash Bar series is back with its next sexy and suspenseful installment, Chased With Strength. This book was better, more intense, more dramatic, more dangerous, and more everything I knew it would be after reading book one. We are thrust back into the lives and drama of some of our favorite men and women as they battle love and evil on a very thin line.
He's wanted her from the moment she enteted his life but he's not a man deserving of her. He's pushed her away and kept his distance, making it known they can't cross that line. That is until the moment he realizes he may lose her forever. Now he's got to find a way to wrestle his demons and find salvation....in her.
She's always felt a connection to him. A deep, soul consuming one but he continues to push and push until she realizes she needs to move on. She's a single mother and she needs stability and trust. Problem is, he owns her heart and always will. And when he finally does try to step up, can she trust him and put all her faith in him?
Crooner and Hayden were a complicated mess right from the very start of their story. She, broken from her past, just trying to survive and heal and raise her child. He, jaded from his past, not feeling worthy of anything, especially her. And while their journey was hard, scary, twisted, and dangerous at times... it was also packed with so much heat, lust, blooming love, and undeniable desire that I couldn't put it down. These two made me feel everything, every single moment.... anger, sadness, pain, regret, happiness, and yeah even some swooning (while fanning myself!).
Hard to read at times and suspenseful from start to finish but so worth every single moment these two gave... you can't miss out on this brand new series from Hayley. And you might even get some pop in blasts from the past.
Excited for the next y'all! Can't wait!

Chased with Strength is not for the faint of heart, as there's nothing easy about any of it. Hayden, my poor Hayden's life was taken from her when she was a teenager, only to become a nightmare of epic proportions. She's saved by the Notorious Devils at 17 years old & pregnant, but it takes everything in her to put the past behind her. Crooner wasn't exactly raised in the easiest of ways, but when he became an orphan, he joined the Notorious Devils for all the family he needed. But then Hayden came, and he wanted her, but knew that she was too good for him, so he does everything he can to keep her at arms length. This story has been rolling in my head for a couple of days, trying to figure out how to write this particular review, because I stated above, there's nothing easy about this story. It's realistic, raw, and gritty, not pretty, so yeah, hard to describe properly without giving spoiler douchery away. The emotional gambit I ran was extreme, as I wanted only the best for Hayden, as she never had a full childhood, and she wanted Crooner. But see, he really pulled some crap on her, trying to make her run from him, and it pissed me off badly, to the point where I wanted to hurt him badly. And trust me, it took me a lot longer to forgive him, because he went out of his way to do it. Loved the secondaries that called him on his crap though, as they added more to the story. And of course, for the people who will forgive him quicker than I did, the sexy times are HOT, so HOT, they lit the sheets on fire. Plus, since this a brilliant Hayley Faiman story, there are crazy twists which lead to mega action, so that allowed me to drop crazy f-bombs throughout. Not to mention, you can see how far she transported me into her world, as my emotions are still fully engaged in Hayden & Crooner's world, long after I finished this book! Love this series, and cannot wait for the next book! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Hayden has a past which is filled with baggage, she never gives up and has the strength of a woman who is determined to give her son a family that both of them deserve. Ward “Crooner” has denied himself for years, growing up with parents that had some belief’s he knows is wrong but can’t seem to shake. Crooner has to make a decision, claim her as his own or set her free.
This book brings up a lot of dark issues and takes you on a journey that you don’t even know how Hayden is surviving each day. Hayden proves that she is a strong, independent woman who will continue to dust herself off and try again, doing everything to support her son Easton. Crooner is a alpha male who has beliefs that are not ordinary that make him feel not worthy of Hayden that has been through hell at such a young age. He fights his attraction, will he give in and claim the woman he loves?
Hayden and Crooner has chemistry from the beginning, something that they don’t share for a long time, when they finally come together their slow burn has built up to explosive levels, leaving both of them wondering why they took so long to get there.
Hayley has done an amazing job with Chased with Strength, she went deep with some dark and serious issues that could for some make them uncomfortable. I personally felt that they enhanced the book and gave you a higher level of understanding of both characters.

This book was supercharged with heat and emotion. Rescued from the type of life one can only imagine, Hayden is a survivor. Used and abused by men her entire life, at the tender age of eighteen, she is a mother to a beautiful baby boy that she might've resented considering his parentage, but whom she loves enormously and lives her entire life for. You'd think she'd either be terrified of men or be a man-hater but she's finding her way past the fear. I'm just going to go ahead and jump into my review and hopefully not write out a long first paragraph. This is the second book in the Cash Bar series and follows Crooner and Hayden. We meet both of these characters in the first book Laced with Fear.
I'll start with Hayden. If you don't remember who Hayden, she is one of the girls who was abducted by the Aryians. And than she was dropped on the doorstep of the Canadian chapter of the Notorious Devils by a Nomad. Hayden is a young woman, well I can't even really call her a young woman, because she's still just a girl. But she's girl that definitely hasn't had the easiest life. First her ja(k off father, and than the Aryians, and becoming a mother. I have say that despite it all Hayden turned out stronger from it.
Oh gosh Crooner. I have to say I really liked him in Laced in Fear. But I have to say that he was kind of j*rk at the beginning of the book. But I could understand his hesitation with Hayden. I did come around more to Crooner when he stopped being so stubborn and went for it.
I will say that I enjoyed this book. I think after Crooner stopped being so stubborn, I really warmed up to them as a couple. In fact they maybe up there with a few of my favorite couples.
I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5 and can't wait for Free's book!!!!

When Hayden was rescued in a previous book, she started working at Cash Bar, one of the old ladies looked after her son, Easton, while she worked and Crooner/Ward took it upon himself to keep her safe. All was going well in her life now except for one thing... Crooner wouldn't give into his feelings of desire he felt for her. They both knew how the other felt but for various reasons, Crooner felt Hayden deserved better than him. When another brother shows an interest though, Crooner has to decide to either claim Hayden as his own, or let her move on with someone else. His decision may not matter though when Hayden's past catches up to her and puts not only her and Easton in danger but the whole club too.
OMG, I really do enjoy this series and Hayley Faiman's writing. You start reading and the next thing you know three hours have passed, you've bitten all your nails off and you have forgotten to eat. lol. I can't wait for the next one, which will hopefully be Free's story. Another highly enjoyable read with drama, action, HOT sexy times and Chased With Strength gets 5 stars from me.

There was so much going on in this book! So I had not read the first book in this series or any of the books from the original series, and I felt like I was missing a part of the story when I started reading. There were some jumps in time at the beginning and I am not sure if it was explained in other books or if it was just like that. It made it pretty hard to understand at the beginning. As the story went on, things were kind of explained how the relationship started, but not much. I wish I would have known this before hand. Other than that, it was a pretty good book. Pretty intense.
I liked the characters in the story, though both MCs had some major issues they had to work through and they didn't always communicate which bothered me a lot. There was also lots of back and forth between them that was frustrating. There was lots of action to keep you on your toes. It was also pretty steamy and dirty and hot! Just a warning though there are lots of references to sexual abuse in the story, so if this is a trigger do no read this book.
Overall, it was a good book and I'll probably read the next in the series when it comes out.

This was a good continuation of book one in the Cash Bar series. Although it could be read as a standalone, it really helps understanding the story line better if you read book one, Snake and Ginger’s story. Also, the guys from the original Notorious Devils series make a cameo, Fury&Co.
I was so curious to find out how Crooner and Hayden would find their happy ending. It really didn’t seem like they’d be a good fit. He is thirty-five and bitter, not looking to settle down. She is nineteen, has a little kid, lived through hell and just tries adjusting to having a normal life. However, they are attracted to each other and can’t stay away. They come together in an explosive way, and just as they settle down and try to make a good life for themselves, a blast from Hayden’s past shows up and ruins it all.
I can’t wait to read the next book which is hopefully Free and Whitley’s story :)

I liked this story. I loved Hayden. Her story was so sad and you have such compassion for her. It was horrible what had happened to her and she can't help but have hang ups.
Now Crooner, royally pissed me off. Yes, I get that the way he was raised and what his father taught him was hard to forget. Lord help me I wanted to throttle him more than once. All these men can be rough around the edges, we get that. But most tend to not put their giant foot in the mouths on the daily. He was constantly saying crap that hurt her and not even realizing that she was hurt. Yes, he did say on occasion that "I hurt her" or that he should not have said that, but that did not make up for the fact that he continued to do it.
He did get a little better by the end, but it took something tragic to get him to pull his head out of his ass. The end felt a little rushed, but then I got to the epilogue and that helped a lot.
Now, I am dying for Free!!!!!

Crooner and Hayden both with only themselves in the world find that they can’t be without the other! Crooners tried to push Hayden away but when someone steps up to do what he’s to afraid of Crooner decides he wants Hayden and her beautiful boy for himself but what no one sees coming is the demon lurking in the dark! Hopefully the Notorious Devils and Hayden herself can find a way to escape what could be her new reality!
I have finally read all Cash Bar novels up to date and yes I have bounced around from book to book but that shows that they are written like the author says and can be read without having read the others! I can assure you though that once you read one you want them all! I am actually going to go and read the MC series previous to this because both worlds are interconnected and I just love to know the different layers behind each one of the tatted up bikers and they head strong woman who have their hearts!

Having read Hayley Faiman before, I knew that I would love Chased with Strength. Although it may be a bit taboo for some, this was right up my alley. A May-December relationship can be so refreshing, especially when each are a bit damaged.
Love is what we make it and it comes with it's own challenges, although the rewards can outweigh said challenges. Love comes with fear of the unknown. From insecurities from past relationships to damage due to heartbreak. However ... that one special person can erase all that fear. Bring you into their world and encompass you in a heart full of gold. Not everything or everyone is perfect, but it is those flaws that make you want to jump by leaps and bounds. That is Chased with Strength. Accepting love as it comes. Accepting each other for who they are. Sure, Hayden and Crooner have their troubles, but don't we all? One thing is for certain ... their strength cannot be altered or broken. Love conquers all.

This book was unexpectedly emotional and heartwarming. This story has a gritty start but soon blossoms into an incredible pairing of two people that need love in the worst ways. Hayden is attempting to build a future for her and her son after years of disappointment. She wants to be the strong woman that Crooner knows she is. Crooner has demons of his own to battle and could easily miss out on the love of his life until something sparks deep in his heart. That is when everything changes and oh my, the story really takes off. These characters have become almost like family and I love each and every story they share. The writing was excellent and the story unfurled in a slow but satisfying manner. This series has become one of my favorites and I recommend it to everyone.

The second book in the Cash Bar series brings us Hayden and Crooner’s story. I loved Hayden, she was strong and fiery and knew what she wanted, and as hard as she tried so couldn’t walk away!! Crooner was your typical biker, he believed he wasn’t worthy, he protected Hayden and wanted what he thought was best for her, but when you love someone nothing and no one will ever be good enough.
This story was really well written; loved the glimpses of the men from this series and from the Notorious Devils interacting. The intensity of the underlying story surrounding Hayden had me on the edge of my seat.
Can’t wait to see what will come next from this author.

This was just meh for me. It was angsty...in parts. It was hot...in parts. It just wasn’t my favorite read from Hayley. I think it had more to do with the characters and the story than it did with the writing. I wasn’t crazy about how Crooner was such a dick. He kind of pissed me off actually. I’m not big on the “weak” female but I did like Hayden. I hate these Aryan assholes and that whole thing at the compound had me like 😱😳! I don’t know what it was but this book just didn’t do it for me like her other books.

Hayley wrote Prescott perfectly in book 1, but she made up for it in this book. Crooner was a freaking jerk and a complete a** in the beginning. His behavior was just disgusting towards Hayden. I respected him for wanting to do right for her and his hesitance because of her age, but I still wanted to smack him there for a bit. But luckily he got his head out of his a** and did the right thing- he claimed his girl!
I loved Hayden. In book 1 she was so soft spoken and broken from what she went through. But she’s not anymore. For everything she’s been through and being only 19 and a mom, she was mature and so much stronger.

Loved this story. You could definitely feel the push and pull attraction between Hayden and Crooner. Their story wasn’t easy, but it was real. They had to endure a lot to get the HEA they both deserved.
Crooner was at times frustrating, at times sweet, and always pure Alpha!
Hayden felt she was broken, that because of how she was brought up, she was unworthy of true love. But she was strong. And deep-down she knew what she wanted, and that was Crooner.

Boy, I was not expecting this book to be good. The first one in the series was super bad(Proceeds to check that review) so my expectations were low... mind you, the Notorious Devils is very well written and thought out.
Crooner’s thoughts on sex were nonsensical and I could not see myself believing that someone believes that. However, I come from a very different culture so 🤷🏽♀️.
Hayden was very mature and well developed for her age and I liked how the author didnt live on the age diff too much.

A Hayley Faiman book that once again does not disappoint.
I absolutely devoured this book. These series involving the Notorious Devils has hot alpha males with the strongest women I have ever read about.
Crooner and Hayden have secretly ( they think) loved each other for two years since he rescued her from the most horrific of lives anyone could think of. He believes he's no good for her... she knows differently.
What follows is the most suspenseful, hot, thrilling and beautiful story.
I cannot wait till Frees book.

I love this series so much the first book was amazing, but this one was so much better. The wait was too long but so worth it. It was impossible to put this book down. Hayden is an underage mom who has been through so much in her life. She was saved by the MC from the Aryans who kidnapped her. Crooner has his own demons of his own that won't let him believe that he is right for Hayley and Easton. This was an easy read. I loved their story and how they both grew throughout this book. And of course, Easton is adorable.
