Maude and Gertrude are best buddies. Day in and day out they do everything together. They have a strong bond that can not be shaken. Their community is turned upside down by a grisly murder. All evidence points to Mr Bardic, he always gave Gertrude the creeps.

Gertrude has her own theories about the murder. All the girls tease her and even Maude won't believe her. Gertrude must solve the crime before it happens again.

This book has a bit of a twisted sense of humor. The characters all live in a communal housing project, and they have been witness to a murder. You have to read this one to see the surprise ending!!!!

This book was a short read. While advertised as a funny short story, I didn't find any humor in it. It was the cow's point of view on a farm. It touched on studding and butchering. While may have a dark sense of humor, this just didn't tickle me.
