This was my first book by Kaylee Baldwin and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I've been watching this new series come out and kept thinking what a fun idea. MyHeartChannel, makes me think of the Home improvement tv shows and such, except the people who have shows aren't just limited to home improvement. Graham has taken his dreams and experiences as a stunt man and created his own hit show. He uses the alias Chance Risk and does fun stunts, scary stunts, visits amazing places, and pretty much uses the ...more

I love the idea of this MyHeartChannel. It reminds me of a cross between an HGTV show and a YouTube channel. Chance (aka Graham) is a major risk taker, which completely opposite of me (and Madelyn).

I love the message of following your dreams and living up to your potential that's presented in this story. It's kind of funny how opposite Chance and Madelyn's family lives are--one wants to be needed and the other one has no desire to need anyone at all. Learning to give and take to meet the needs

I love the idea behind this series of books, each written by a different author. Each of the main characters has a social media channel where they specialize in something specific. In this story, Chance does a travel, educational, daredevil channel. He is an extrovert, full of charisma and charm. And Madelyn? She is his polar opposite in almost every way. AND, she is the girl that ran away from him with only a note left behind and no explanation.

Chance is one forgiving, smitten guy.

This is a sweet second chance romance story with some fun adventures mixed in with a heavy dose of real life. Although Madelyn is often worn down by single parenthood, working two jobs, and a dependent mother, she keeps working hard for those she loves. She has fears that get in the way of her relationships, and Chance helps her realize that there is more to life if she will take a little risk. He is one of those larger than life people, and his attraction to Madelyn and acceptance of her life ...more

This was a sweet story. I enjoy second chance love stories and this one was no exception.

When the way and reason why Madelyn and Chance broke up the first time was revealed, I felt so badly for Chance. How could Madelyn have done that?

Oliver, Madelyn's son, was adorable! Every scene with him was so cute.

The ending was good and left you happy. I think anyone who enjoys clean romance would like this book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was asked to give my honest opinion of the

Shes got issues

-Shed found herself becoming too entrenched, too dependent, too willing to let him lift the burdens that were hers to carry. Putting a stop to things before they went any further was necessary.-

Shes fiercely independent because her mother is chronically overly dependent. So Madelyn takes it to an extreme, thinking she doesnt need help from anyone. Ever. (I found her annoying, actually. Chance was incredibly resilient and patient with her to keep trying like he did.) Chance doesnt

I enjoyed reading this clean, contemporary romance about a hero who is full of life and willing to take chances and a heroine who is his polar opposite. They both have faults, yet both have strengths that complement the other. Unfortunately, I initially had a hard time believing that two people with such significant differences can survive a relationship when the bloom of romance begins to fade. I was a little turned off by the degree with which the weaknesses of both Madelyn and Chance were ...more

At first I thought this second chance story would be boring with my recent book slump. But it proved quite the opposite! I finished it all in one sitting! I thought I knew what would happen, but I was wrong, twice!

The story is so cute. I loved how both of their personalities shined through!. I am a lot like Madelyn always wanting to do things yourself and never relying on someone else. This was a good lesson for Madelyn to learn how important it is to let others help you!

Chance wants to help!

Ill be brutally honest, I did not expect to love this story as much as I did.

The story opens with Madelyn Stewart, a divorced, single mom who is barely making ends meet to give her five year old son Oliver a better life. She works full time at a diner while writing freelance grunt articles since her dreams of becoming an accomplished journalist have yet to come to fruition.

Madelyns ex-husband, Jason, is more preoccupied with the next gig his band is headlining to care if Madelyn has enough

Cute story. Could have been a hallmark movie... My only problem was that I have a hard time seeing their relationship actually working. They have two sets of traits that do not mesh with each other. He needs adventure and attention while she wants calm stability out of the limelight. She wants to be independent while he is desperate to be needed. I'm not sure how you work that out.
In terms of being adventurous I am much like Madelyn and I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't be talked into doing these

I received an ebook copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a quick, fun romance book with a lot of clichéd tropes in it, but I enjoyed it a lot. It's not going to change the world, but the story was cute, the characters were ok, and the kid was super duper cute, I gotta admit that. I was living for him.

I also liked the adventures and that they were doing some interesting things. I am not familiar with America that much, so these were fun and new things for me, though I do

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a clean, fun, fast read. I really liked how the story developed and how their personalities each played a part in the book. Madelyn's mother drove me crazy but there really might be people out there like that and it makes me sad. I can understand why Madelyn is so independent like she is, but sometimes it gets a little frustrating because you want her to be able to accept help when she really needs it. Chance is a sweet guy. I think

I received a free copy of this e-book in exchange for an honest review.

Take a Chance on Me had it's cliche moments like all other love stories, but it was worth a read. Kaylee Baldwin's book was fun and cute. It is an easy read and an innocent, clean love story. I think the characters could have been a little more developed and while they did show growth in the story, sometimes I felt like it was not enough. The love story was cute and their story line progressed throughout with clear obstacles

I was entranced by Baldwin's writing style from the start; honestly, I do love novels with lots of dialogues. Apart from that, this is a quick, fun clean romance that leaves you with a happy glow once finished.
Madelyn is not a typical heroine you can easily associate with. She is fiercely independent and to me, it looked a lot like false pride. But there is no way of hating her, she is too lovely at the same time. Chance, on the other hand, is the polar opposite. He is caring, protective (but

This is part of the "My Heart Channel Romance" series which can be read in any order.

This was such a cute story!! I loved the main characters Madelyn and her son Oliver. Madelyn is a single mom and works hard at 2 jobs just to make ends meat to provide for her son. She doesn't have much time for fun and relaxation. But when she's reunited with an old flame after 8 years, she begins to second guess whether she wants to be a single mom forever but doesn't want to heavily depend on a man like her

I got a copy of this book for review purposes, but this review is all my own.

I thought Id pick this book up Friday night and just read a few chapters. Wrong. I picked it up and completely lost track of time! I woke up early this morning to finish it. I thought I saw where it was going but there was more than I imagined. The characters were so real and relatable. From Madelyn to Chance to her mom and to Oliver. I felt like I really knew and understood Madelyn.

I appreciated the clean romance and

Kaylee tackled a difficult relationship when she brought Chance/Graham back into Madelyn's life. Like many second chance relationships, their prior relationship ended wrong. What these two star-crossed lovers struggled with was unique--the desire to help and to be independent. It was nice to read a more challenging issue, although it wasn't until they finally broke down more barriers that they could really understand each other. Truly a deep and struggling take on romance that was both nice and ...more

Sweet little love story

This is such a darling little story about a single mom trying to make it on her own. Madelyn struggles to make ends meet for herself and her son Oliver. She works two jobs and lives paycheck to paycheck trying to catch a break. Chance Risk is a risk taker and the star of his MyChannel show. He has an adventurous heart, but hasnt quite forgotten the one that got away all those years ago... As the worlds of Chance and Madelyn collide again, they each must decide if they can

This was a sweet, clean romance. I've read a couple in this series and they are good light, fun reads. The hero and heroine are sweet, and it was a pretty fun escape read. The hero was great and sweet with the heroine. I liked how the story showed how each complemented one another in their strengths/weaknesses dependence vs. independence needs, etc. This was my first book by this author and I thought it was pretty good. Take a chance on me was a cute book about a romance that get's a second chance after many years. I especially enjoyed the little son, he was so cute and always there to light it up. I did not really enjoy the main character, because she was so hard trying to be independent, that she came over as very stubborn. The love interest was interesting and I also enjoyed his show. Overall it was a nice story. A bit predictable, but still written well enough and enjoyable.

Well, truthfully the summary of this book is in it's apropos title. I found this so enjoyable and heartfelt. Yes it's a light read, but the emotions were real and I liked the growth that developed in both of them. However, this story is all about Chance. Ohmylanta he is dreamy. Not sure the cover paints him accurately, but he is completely lovable and way patient. This is my first read of the MyHeartChannel Romance, but this author has enticed me to read the series. Great summer read.

I struggled to like Madelyn. The stories where one person (in this case Chance) has to win over a frightened, hurt and frequently angry person (in this case Madelyn) it makes the woo-er seem like such a spineless doormat and the woo-ee almost a shrew. It is just not my favorite trope. Otherwise the authors writing was good. I honestly had trouble seeing Madelyn as Chances one great love. A nice person, sure, but I just couldnt see it. ...more

Take A Chance On Me was a book I couldnt put down. I love reading Kaylee Baldwins books and this one did not disappoint. The relationship between Chance and Madelyn is sweet one.

Eight years ago Madelyn broke up with Chance in a note with no explanation of why. Now at a Chance Risk event she bumps into him after all these years.

This book needs someone to proof read it to take it to perfection. At one point the main characters name was misspelled and in another instance she was called by the

Fun quick read. I would like to have seen more of their relationship. Because it developed in the past we just get to hear that it was awesome and now we see them 8 years later, but don't get to see a lot of the growth which is what makes sweet romances so fun. Neat characters trying to overcome the negatives of their childhoods making them great for each other.

This was a squeaky clean read that felt like a vacation. The characters and setting were fun. Chance was super sweet. I kept waiting for Madeline to put her foot down and not let people walk all over her. The book is appropriate for any age. Couple of typos. I might read this one again. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
