I guess I'm just toooo disappointed with how this book went to write a review. There was nothing happening. It started on the same note, ended on the same note.

I loved it! Just as I have loved every book in this series.
Mostly because I just really love these characters and I want more time with them. This book felt a little like filler, which is why I couldn't rate it higher, but I am really looking forward to the next and last book in this series.
I can't wait for more Mason, Sam and Logan!

09/05: FFD sneak peak: Mason POV
When we got to the fraternity house, Nate met us at the door. He gave me a slight frown. “I thought you were doing dinner first?”
“Change of plans.”
“Oh.” He continued to frown. “Okay.” Then, as if remembering the rest, a quick smile covered his face and he reached behind him. Tossing a beer to Logan, he said, “Help yourself. I figured you wanted to release some stress this weekend?” A second beer was handed to Logan’s girlfriend. She took it and her eyes lit up like Nate gave her a hundred dollars.
I frowned. The girl was weird.
Logan laughed, throwing his arm around her shoulders. He jerked his chin up, saying to Nate, “Forget the bullshit about who you’re bunking with, you’re a good man to me right now.” He glanced sideways at me as he added, “I’m all about staying out of trouble, you know.”
I grinned, but Nate frowned. “Uh. Okay.” He turned to me. “Anything I should know about?”
“We might not stay long.”
“Yeah.” A knowing look came over him. “I figured.”
Logan snorted, opening his beer and taking a swallow. As he finished, he gestured the beer to me. “Mase wants to put off the battles for as long as possible, but we all know his tolerance of ass kissers. He’s got none. Do him a favor, Nate, stop bringing your buddies around him.”
“Oh god,” Sam groaned beside me.
Logan’s girlfriend squeaked and moved an inch behind the group. Logan was riled up. He wanted to fight. Sam saw it too and we shared a look. It was going to happen.
Nate just sighed.
Catching Logan’s gaze, I looked pointedly at his girlfriend. I wanted to talk, but not in front of her. He rolled his eyes, but got the message. “Kris?”
“Yeah?”
“You said you wanted to go to the bathroom.” With a hand behind her back, he propelled her further inside the house. “Maybe Nate can show you where it is?”
That was his signal. He didn’t want Nate to be a part of our talk. And Nate got it. His nostril’s flared, his jaw clenched, but he forced out a polite smile. “Of course. I’ll take you to my own bathroom. It’s clean and private.”
“Oh good.”
His hand replaced Logan’s on her back and he guided her forward, but shot Logan a dark look over his shoulder. Logan lifted his beer in a salute.
I snorted.
Sam began to move to the side of the patio, but I shook my head. “No.”
Logan added, gesturing to the window right next to it, “You have no idea what they can hear.”
“Oh. Okay.”
I led the way off the patio and to a corner of the yard. A few people had gathered outside, but they weren’t paying us any attention. I looked at my brother. “What’s got you worked up? Did you really hate Sebastion that much?” He was annoying, but damn, a bug could be squashed easily. Logan’s reaction didn’t make sense.
He shook his head. “Whatever. I’ll be nice. No worries.”
I glanced at Sam. “Something else happen that I don’t know about?”
Logan snorted. “Like she’d answer that truthfully.”
My alarms shot up and studying Sam, I caught the glare she sent his way. Her lips pressed tight and she shook her head, turning away. She’d been present with me. I felt her. Sam could slip away. Her mind would leave the room, thinking about other things, and she could shut her emotions off, but I knew it was because of Analise. Being raised by a monster like that would leave scars, deep scars, but I had felt her just now. She’d been present. She’d been real. She’d been raw. It was a different Sam than I had ever felt before.
She was gone again. Her walls were back up and I touched her elbow, tugging her to me. “Hey. What’s going on?”
She began to shake her head when Logan muttered, “Shocker.” She stopped. Her glare doubled.
I looked between the two. “What the hell is going on?” They were involved in a heated stand-off.
Sam crossed her arms over her chest, but one of her hands broke free. She gestured to Logan. “Ask him. We were fine this morning and now he’s ready to rip into the world. The guy was an ass, but Mason’s right. He wasn’t that bad.”
Logan rolled his eyes. “Maybe I’m just sick of the bullshit and lies going on. Something is obviously going on with you and you won’t say a word about it to me. This,” his finger moved in a circle between the three of us, “is a joke. I’m in Fallen Crest, but it’s like I’m a stranger to you. Now, coming here, and—” He stopped and cursed under his breath. “Whatever. I’m fine. I’m sorry.” He sent me an apologetic look. “Sam’s been distant as hell since you left. I have to fight with my girlfriend’s sister just so I can see her. We went five rounds today. That’s why we’re late and now seeing Nate with that douchebag. What the hell, man? It’s like he doesn’t even want to be friends with you anymore. That pisses me the fuck off. I just want to punch someone.”
09/02: FFD sneak peak
Mark grinned. “Your dad sent us up here.” He frowned, scanning the rest of the group. “We were thinking the other football players were up here. He wanted to challenge you guys to a scrimmage since we’re not playing each other this year.”
“You aren’t?”
“Yeah, something happened with the scheduling. Your dad says that it won’t happen next year, but what do you think?” He nodded towards Logan. “Your football team against ours?”
“Today?” Logan scratched his head and glanced behind us. The other guys hadn’t appeared yet. “We’re still spanking these guys’ asses here.”
Straven snorted, puffing out his chest. “Speak for yourself. You’re holding on by a thread.”
Logan shot him a look, his eyes glittered from the sunlight. Or evil mirth. “Whatever. Once I get a hold of a thread, I don’t let go. Ask Quinn down there. I like to make people pay if they hurt someone I love.”
Gone was the joker and hello to the fighter. Mark shot me a questioning look, but I shook my head. I didn’t want to get into it. Clearing my throat, I asked, “Would you do a challenge somewhere else? Or maybe sometime else? These guys are doing a conditioning run today.”
“Sure—” Mark started to say.
Logan interrupted, “Tomorrow night. We have a game, but they leave the lights on. We can do a scrimmage then.”
“Wait. With everyone? Full uniform?”
“Just the guys. A friendly thing.” Logan’s tone did not indicate friendliness.
Mark frowned, glanced at me, and then to his teammates. None of them said a word, but Mark shrugged. “Sure, but I have to warn you. We have an ace player this year. He’s new and he’s going to kick your ass.”
Logan’s eyes lit up. A slow grin spread over his face. “I’ll look forward to that then.”
Mark and his teammates left and it wasn’t long before Straven took off with the rest of the cross country guys. Logan’s friend remained behind, but he stood at a distance from us, waiting for Logan to start running again.
Logan looked at me.
I looked at him.
He liked to fight. He liked to cause havoc and that side of him had been dormant. I saw it in him again. It was like it had awakened, a prowling tiger that was getting tired of its cage. That’s when I realized the Roussou pranks had served a purpose for him, an outlet, and he wanted a new outlet.
I sighed. “Don’t hurt Mark.”
He frowned. A flash of irritation heated up his eyes, but then he smirked at me. “Not Mark, but there are others on that team who have hurt me.” He paused a beat. “Hurt you.”
“That’s over.”
He shook his head. “Not true. Those beasts always linger. They’re always there, waiting to get out.” Then he turned and started off. When he saw I wasn’t running with him, he paused, still running in place, and glanced at me.
I didn’t move.
Then he shrugged and took off down the trail alone.
I was starting to wonder what beast was inside of Logan and why hadn’t I realized it was there until now?
08/25: FFD teaser
The light turned green and we started forward. Logan squeezed my hand. “I’ll be there for the whole thing. Whatever you need, you tell me. I’ll be your running bitch. I’ll give you a radio and you can call me any moment. I’ll come running. I’ll do whatever. If you want an inspirational poem, call me Logan Angelou. If you want music to warm you up, I’m the new Beastie Boy. Whatever you want.”

Drew waved again, mouthing my name once more, so I slid out of the booth and rounded it on the other side. We were positioned against the wall and there was an opening next to him. As I sat down, Matteo was dancing in front of us. He wore a white unbuttoned shirt. His bare chest was solid muscle, but his stomach ended with a fat roll hanging over his jeans. Grinning, sweat rolling down his face, he rubbed a brisk hand over his bald head. Then he placed one hand on his hip, he pointed at us and yelled, “FOR YOU GUYS!” With his hand still raised to us, he took a dramatic step, turning so his ass was facing us. His hand was still up and he started pointing at others around him, keeping in rhythm with the music. At the same time, the deejay suddenly switched the song. Loud bass slammed through the speakers. It sent a wave of energy through the crowd and everyone started dancing harder. As this happened, Matteo glanced over his shoulder at us, winked, and bent low. His ass stayed up and he began moving it up and down in a twerking motion.
“Oh my god.” Drew looked down. His shoulders lifted as he began laughing, shaking his head at the same time. “Only Matteo.”
“Mason!” Matteo yelled again. He had moved closer. A small ring of people continued to surround him, but there was an opening for us. “Roommate pay per view.” As he shouted each word, his ass twerked up and down. The bass in the song changed again, speeding up, and Matteo stopped shouting. He kept going, matching the fast pace of the song now.
“We do not need to see this.”
I grinned. “Just be glad we’re getting the back end view.”

GUILTY PLEASURE READ AND NOTHING MORE!!!
This authors is my ADDICTION. My CRACK! My ESCAPE! My EXCEPTION. I can't get enough of her books.
Her stories–all of them–will ALWAYS be 5 star reads for me because I don't read them like I do other books. They have become my escape, my guilty pleasure, my one exception. They encompass EVERYTHING that would normally drives me bat-shit-crazy, yet they don't. For whatever reason, they are in a class of their own and they work for me BIG TIME. I just hang on and enjoy the crazy ride.
Note: To be honest, this is my least favorite book of the series. It's still a 5 star read–as all of Tijan's books are my guilty pleasure reads–but it didn't capture my attention like the first three books did. What I love about this series is the dynamic between Mason, Logan and Sam. It's pure magic when the three of them are together. With Mason away at college, the three of them weren't together as often as I would have liked. Still, I had a blast reading this story! I can't wait to get my hands on the next and final book of the series. I'm hoping it's from Logan's POV.

This is the fourth instalment of the Fallen Crest series... Mason is away at College, and Sam is stuck back in her senior year of high school. This has been my least favourite book in the series. I’m hoping the next book will be way more exciting because Sam and Mason will be back in the same town and school!!

Yeah! Let me just say that I am happy that Nate is back! I am also glad that Sam finally grew some balls and be able to stand besides Mason. About dame time lol. Glad that Marissa is out of her funk. Mason is so strong and I love that he's not the type to fall for bullshit. He's a very strong character. As for Logan? He's to adorable and he's Logan fucking Kade lol. The ending was great and I can't wait for the Finale!

Okay I just finished the book and I don't know how to feel! First thank god she has steered away from the love triangle cause that was just pissing me off. But I feel disappointed that Heather and Logan are not together! Although I got the feeling that they were secretly seeing each other. Just saying! Anyway Sam really bugged me in this book. I wanted to slap her so bad, hopefully she has grown a pair for the next one.p

Say what you will about this series but it’s so dang entertaining! This one takes place while Mason is in his first year of college and Sam and Logan are finishing up their senior year. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the drama/plot point in this one, but overall I still liked it. After the ending of this one, I can’t wait to see what happens next!

That pseudo love triangle? Don’t even get me started. That was so dumb. And that was the only thing I thought this book got going for it seeing as everything else seems to be a repetition of what already came in previous books. But NOPE. The book opens with it annnnd guess what, it effing ends with it too. So the whole book was there to... what? AVOID dealing with it? Really?

And the kicker? It wasn’t even a real love triangle. Give me a fricking break man.
Oh my god Mason, can you stop being a robot spewing inspirational/motivational crap?! Act like a normal teenage boy for once damn it. Their texts read like nothing people, let alone teenagers, communicate with each other. So trite. And tiresome to read.
One thing about Samantha - you’ve got to admit, girl got skills. Samantha is the only fictional character/person that I’ve met whose “oncoming headache” NEVER materializes into any kind of headaches whatsoever. Like she got half a dozen of the “oncomings” in this book without any of the actual “beings” of them. Wow. That’s impressive girl! You gotta teach us lowly mortals sometimes, in the word of Logan fucking Kade, share the love. Alright?

It's time for me to say goodbye to this series. Reading this book made it very clear to me that there's very little I enjoy about it anymore.
Sam is still the exact same person from Book 1. Needy, extremely delicate, runs away from things she doesn't want to face, and still searching for any trace of a backbone.
Her relationship with Mason is as codependent as ever. But at least they finally acknowledged that they barely have any real conversations. Well, outside of the ever constant:
Mason: What's wrong Sam?
Sam: Nothing (Dying inside over some tedious overblown issue)
Mason: I know something is wrong. I can see through you and shit. Just tell me.
Sam: ......
Mason: Okay. Tell me when you're ready.
Sam: I will (Continues dying inside over something that would be resolved if she'd just tell him).
Rinse and freaking Repeat.
This book barely had a plot and the whole triangle situation was absolutely ridiculous. Adieu Fallen Crest High. You won't be missed.

I am so frustrated with how FCP ended. I can't believe it ended like that. Sigh.

I love Tijan, she's awesome and her books are awesome. I do love these books but this one fell a little flat for me. Mostly because of Mason's college drama (snoozeville).
But otherwise excited for the 5th and final book announced at the end of this one!

I didn't want to throttle anyone for the same extreme abusive behavior I'd seen in previous books.
Con :
It was all filler. There was no plot driving the story ahead. Nothing "new" happened, outside of yet another boy taking interest in Sam (which came from out of nowhere and went absolutely nowhere, so I failed to see the point). No wonder all the girls hate her. I'd probably be hating her too by now. She's a beacon for the male species.
There was literally nothing that happened in this story which didn't feel like a repeat of something that happened in previous books.
The sad thing about this is :
I put the book aside for about a month after the first few chapters failed to hook me, then I picked the book up again. I should've just let go, so I wouldn't feel the pressure to read the last book when it comes out. I hiked up that mountain, dammit. I can't go back the way I came now. O.o

I have to say, I really love this cover. It's exactly how I would view Sam when she's being a bad@$$. She may have lost some of her spunk in books 2 and 3, but it's back! Man, am I glad it's back. I was getting sick of her just taking all the abuse from the psycho b******. My girl crush dimmed a bit when she didn't put them in their place.
While I hated that this book had the Threesome Fearsome apart for most of the book, a lot was accomplished. I love that the author could have had several things come between Mason and Samantha and that she didn't take that route. Instead, she reinforced how much these two belong together and had them reacting in ways you want a couple to react in times of adversity. It also showed the growth in their relationship.
I seriously love Logan. I can't wait until he finds his Sam. He deserves to have that same loyalty and love that Sam provides Mason. Logan is such a fun character that you just want to see him happy.
This ended on a huge power play at the college and I'm looking forward to the next book to see what happens.

Like previous books in the series, 'Fallen Fourth Down' continued to be drama-filled from start to finish. The mean girls seemed to have been a bit tamer. However, that was offset by an infusion of obsessive craziness.
Mason is away at college...and so is his stalker! Meanwhile, the dynamics of Sam and Logan's relationship is being slowly poisoned by the bomb that Tate dropped at the end of the last book. When secrets are revealed, bonds are tested. Relationships that were seemingly damaged beyond repair, manage to recover. Other ties, are forever broken.
The book ends with a lot of danger and conflict. Their lives are changing. They will have to survive many more trials to remain the tight knit group that they are now. I am dying to get my hands on the next book, which is expected to be the final book in the series.

except that he is far away from the woman that he loves...
He has to deal with old friends, new enemies and a girl from the past....
Their love is strong and beautiful. It's epic in every way...

This review is purely for me and might contain spoilers and facts from the book to keep myself in the known at all time. It's also long and somewhat detailed.
Re-read: 26.05.2018
We're back with Samantha ‘Sam’ Jacquelyn Strattan (18) and her boyfriend/future-stepbrother, Mason ‘Mase’ James Kade (18). Sam and Logan was now on their senior year, while Mason he was the future star wide receiver (used to play lineman in high school, but wasn't big enough in college) for Cain University’s football team; he was going to a Division One school. That meant his games would be televised nationally. ESPN coverage. Future NFL talks. The distant is a huge struggle to all. Sam and Logan are at least together and getting closer - or would be closer if Sam hadn't been keeping things from the brothers. Then there's the distance between Mason and Nate; Nate was Mason to be friends with he new frat brothers, Mason isn't interested. Oh and there's a new enemy.
“... It’s a cancer, building in me, wondering if I might lose you one day.”
Overall, I got kinda pissed through-out the book. Sam annoyed the crap out of me with her hiding things from the brothers. In the last three books I've been really struggling connecting to Sam, for the most part I've just wanted to slap her. She's so weak, cold and 'not there'. I understand not caring - I'm like that; life just goes by - but apparently she cares so much that she doesn't care.... Not working with me. She hurting the brothers who have been there for her since they've met, and all she's done is... not giving them all back. She's so closed off and I feel like I'm on the outside looking in when it comes to her. So, the book was really boring and annoying to read, but I need to finish the series; I've only got one more re-read in the series, then two books that I've haven't read and I'll be completely done. Looking forward to that; I need closure.

I need myself a Mason. I do love Mason. It seems to be a thing with me; to love the men in authors books, but hating/disliking/not getting alone with the females.... Mason is hot, I love how cold and blunt and sexy and strong and - and I can go on and on. But the thing is, he might be cold to the outside, to people he doesn't care about, but when it comes to the people he loves? Man, he's the best, he gives it all. I also liked to see a more serious version of Logan. Too little seriousness gets on my nerves, so I was glad he stepped up a little, though Sam kept putting distance between them and he got hurt and he didn't deserves that. Hell Sam deserves none of them. Anyways, am I the only one who would have loved a gay romance between Logan and Nate? It would've been so hot....
“Just kidding. Nate already claimed me as his sister wife, even though we’re both dudes. We’ll figure a way. We don’t need you guys. You can have your own Twosome Fearsome. Nate and I have realized our long-lost, deep…deeply buried love for each other. He’s my Twosome Gaysome. Come to my bosom, my little horny husband.”
Nate stopped, frowned at him, and looked at us. “What the fuck?”
Logan hushed him. “Don’t listen to him. We’re still basking in the honeymoon stage. He just doesn’t want you guys to be jealous since it’s obvious you two aren’t.”

I tuned them out. They raised their cups, did their toasts, and went back to drinking. As we stayed there, most of the guys took off to find girls. Matteo’s girlfriend came over with a couple friends, but I tuned their conversations out.
I had only met the guy, but my gut was telling me Park Sebastian was going to be a problem. Nate came over later, less stressed and less sober. I knew this could be a problem with our friendship. Only time would tell. I missed Sam and Logan.

I love this series. It’s so addicting. Sam got her groove back in this book and of course Mason is still awesome!! Logan is always good for comedic relief. I can’t wait to read the next.

I was soooo impatiently waiting for the book; stalking Tijan's facebook page to read all the fallen crest scenes she posted.
This book didn't fail me. It was full of drama and romance :P
Mason, I just fall more and more for him. He is soo understanding, giving Sam her space when she needed, and loving her.
Logan; he is still the same. Man, i love him! He is protective and damn understanding. He could be a great boyfriend.
Nate.... I didn't like him much but atleast he came to his senses in the end.
Sam. She was the old fierce Sam but it irritated me that she kept worrying that Logan loves her. I mean, not everything is about her! But whatever, i still like her.
The secondary characters were cool. Kept me on my toes with all the new twists. I am so glad this ain't the last book. I won't get over Mason and Logan and I want both the brothers to get their happy ending.

Oh my gosh! I was so happy when I noticed there's gonna be a fourth book! I wasn't and will not, ever, get over Sam, Mason and Logan. I just wanna read more and more about them. (Does that make me crazy? Hope not :P) I wonder what's going to happen now that Mason is soon going to college and it will be only Logan and Sam in school. With Kate out of school, I don't think there's any other enemy of hers, or am i wrong? And what about Marrisa? She, too, is going to the same college.
Ugh! I can't wait for the book! I have soo many questions in my mind! Please Tijan write fast and remove me out of my misery! :)

I love Tijan’s style of writing…. she has this way of instantly getting me hooked in the story and characters involved… and there is always a lot of edgy angles and angst involved… well, specially in this series.
That said, much as I really loved and enjoyed this sequel, I did not find any difference to that same scenario as the previous ones, it’s like a merry go round. I was hoping for something different or more maybe. But I guess it wouldn’t be a Fallen Crest High series if there was none of those dramas between bullies and bitches involved.
I did love that the spotlight was turned on Logan for a changed, in a sort of kinda way since Mason is separated from them! I absolutely LOVE him! The things that comes out of his mouth can sure make me laugh!
In this sequel, I got to realized the bond formed between Logan and Sam… which makes my heart smile… ;)
While Mason and Sam’s relationship is being tested…. and despite the distance, their relationship is still, in fact, unbreakable. Definitely sigh worthy… makes my heart aflutter. ;)
Mason is still the man. He is still in his cool and in control character. While Sam, well, there are things she does here that just doesn’t make sense to me. She sometimes act mature and yet be so immature. :D
But there is more to this story than just Sam, Mason, and Logan. Cause remember Nate? The fourth member of their supposedly “Fearsome Foursome”? Well, let’s just say, he carries the title “fallen fourth down”. No spoiler, so I won’t say no more about that!
There were scenes that I wish to do without or had about enough with, like Marissa, the girl “obsessed" with Mason, is back in the picture. But I guess she served her purpose in the story too.
All in all, another engrossing and mesmerizing sequel…. and the drama continues!!!! ;)
