This is a chemistry text book that distills lessons into a simpler more thorough version so younger kids can learn it as well. There are worksheets and solutions to problems and many concepts have extra visual elements (color) that help understanding and remembering.
There are a couple of math chapters at the end of the book in case the younger readers are not familiar with what is necessary to complete calculations. This is also great for parents who want to help and need a bit of a refresher.

well explained, better than they explain in class. the diagrams i thought were really good, because they took the words and in case you didn't get it when you were reading you would get it by looking at the diagram

A very detailed book with excellent explanations that kids will understand. This book takes care of the questions you always asked about atomic structure, how things work with explanations and samples.
If you want to spend quality time with your kids or students discussing Chemistry this is the book for you.
