Interesting MC read. Devin and Erika are childhood friends that have so many secrets from each other they try to stay away from each other. Erika has been raised in a rival MC club but knows she belongs with the Scorpions, Devin's and her birth parents MC. She has always known she'd go back to them. She hangs out out the bar they own and has made a family of the men in the MC. Devin has never felt good enough for her. He is carrying guilt that really wasn't his to carry.
They dance around each other but her strength and determination breaks through the walls he has set up. There are still things they have to share and work through but they have come to terms with the fact they must be together. The boys from the MC are very protective of her and once they find out what has been done to her, they seek revenge.

This MC book was defiantly a good one. I loved reading about Devin and Erika’s story. Coming from different MC families poses as a problem but they just can’t stay away. Each of them have their own secrets in the end does that hurt them?!?!?! The book was well written and the banter between Devin and Erika is easy and entertaining. This is a book that you will not be able to put down once you start it grabs you right from the beginning. Defiantly a must read and recommend. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

A very enjoyable romance. Devin has ben in love with Erika for years but refuses to do anything about it because he doesn't think he's good enough for her. When he finally gives in to his feelings will it be the beginning or the end for them? A good story, likable characters and a entertaining plot create a pleasurable read. I'm posting a totally honest, voluntary review after reading this book.

Great MC story.
It has everything that a good mc story should have, characters with amazing chemistry, angst, danger and romance with love.
The story Will pull you in immediately and you will not want to put it down till the very last page.... and I was sorry to see it end
Delia Petrano is a new author to me and this is my first book of hers but definitely will not be my last by this talented author!!

I enjoyed this story, it was an interesting take on an MC romance. I thought the character development was well done and I enjoyed the backstories of the characters. There were some grammatical mistakes and I would have liked to see the story edited a bit more. I liked how the author built up the side characters for future projects. Overall, it was a steamy MC read and I enjoyed it.

Great MC story, it has love and danger and angst. Devin and Erika have loved each other for years so why can’t they be together? His friends think they would be good together so what is Devin hiding?This will be a great series with so many characters to spin off from.

I’ve been in love with her my entire life.
She doesn’t know what she does to me how her smile slices straight through the darkness I’ve lived in for years. I’ve kept my distance, watching from the edges, because I know what I am. Broken. Violent. A man with too much blood on his hands to ever touch something so pure.
She deserves better than me.
But every time she looks at me, I forget why I’m supposed to stay away. She makes me believe there’s still a piece of me worth saving.
I don’t know how much longer I can keep pretending I don’t feel it. All I know is this I’ll protect her from everything, even from myself if I have to.

Raw, Emotional, and Addictively Dark

This story gripped me from the very first line. It’s a haunting tale of love, guilt, and redemption told through the eyes of a man who believes he’s too broken to deserve the light he loves. The tension between darkness and devotion is beautifully written you feel every ounce of his conflict, every moment he tries to protect her from both the world and himself.

I gave this book two stars and for me this was generous. I don't know how this book has over a four star rating. The premise was good but the writing made this book really difficult for me to finish. I almost gave up. The writing did not flow and the book really needed editing. Perhaps others liked it but I really didn't.
