If I had a nickel for every time I have been asked this reference question I'd be a rich woman. I'm always looking for good answers, but it isn't an easy path and the 'tell all' resources usually aren't out there. Those that are billed as such usually aren't. They are more about 'how to write' with publishing resources appended, not literally how to navigate the trecherous world of publishing and come out with fame and fortune.
