Leaving no loose ends in this ground-breaking installment, Unveiled ties Living Anonymous, Nyce, and Still Anonymous all together, in this final chapter. Pop-star Aneesah “Ani” Bradshaw is left scrambling to restore everything she has lost. Now, fully recovered from her addiction and slowly gluing the pieces of her life back together, Aneesah forgives herself for her past mistakes and accepts the product of who she is. However, when the love of her life leaves her for another woman, she is left dealing with yet another life altering blow. Determined not to fall back down that dark path of self-destruction that she fought so desperately to crawl out of, Aneesah turns to her first love-music. During her journey of self-healing, Aneesah finds herself falling for a much younger man who unexpectedly sweeps her off her feet. Battling her emotions, trying to determine what is right or wrong, she gives in and opens herself up to love again. Life is great and Aneesah finally feels that she has a true shot at happiness, but drama never strays too far from the pop-princess. Old habits die hard and forgotten acquaintances make their final appearance, wreaking havoc in her life. Will the girl who has lost so much finally get her happily ever after or is she doomed to a life of misery as people plot her downfall?

Unveiled the last book in the Living Anonymous Series was Excellent. Shataya put everything into this book. The story was lengthy but a page turner. This was the type of story you take your time with and not rush through. I felt as if I was in the story with the characters through the good and the bad. I was happy Aneesah got it together and Nyce I wanted to punch him in the throat sometimes but I couldn't dislike him either. Aneesah and Nyce were meant to be together but they definitely had to go their fair share of ups and downs to realize it. Shataya was able to tie up all the loose ends in this last installment. I would have like to have more story on Serge and that situation but overall this was a great series and I didn't want it to end. Shataya Simms is a great storyteller and has made her way into my list of top 20 authors. I look forward to reading her work in the future. The Living Anonymous Series is a must read and I definitely recommend it.
This was an excellent book just like the entire series. I loved the playful interaction between all the characters and the end was just beautiful. I laughed and cried the entire time. I highly recommend this series to all my fellow readers. One of my favorite series of all times!
This the culmination of Aneesah and Nyce's story and what an end! It picks up where part 2 left off and gives a blow by blow as the years ticked by. Readers get a chance to see Aneesah, post mistakes and living from life lessons.
I enjoyed the drama infused throughout the pages. And trust! It's a lot of drama to take in when you consider Aneesah's celebrity status and Nyce's underworld being thrown together unintentionally. Also I loved how the chemistry of Nyce and Aneesah was still present though they lead completely different lives over the course of 2 books. The sub characters added so much to plot progression as well: I loved the family bonds and friendships that were established. They all felt plausible and were nice touch as Nyce and Aneesah developed.
Overall I would give this book a solid 3.5, but the ending made it a 4. No its not just the storyline but how it was written. It was well concluded and not overly filled with meaningless details. Additionally, I felt the author ended the story in a way that was true to the characters. However, because of so many fillers over the course of the whole series, the book could have actually be concluded in 2 maybe 3 books. I am all for a well detailed book, but I found myself skimming over some of the fillers in Aneesah's day to day life which didn't add anything to plot progression. Great storyline, compelling characters, it's just the added tidbits that had me dragging to finish.
I DID NOT WANT THIS TO END!!!!!!!! I loved every minute of all 3 books! There was not a single moment where I was skipping pages because I was bored or the book was slow! This book was so well written! Very little, probably not even 5 grammatical errors in all 3 books combined! This was so well thought out! With all that being said! SPOILERS!!!!!!!! I liked Nyce but he took things to the extreme when he got mad about something! For him to leave Aneesah when he went to prison maxed me out. Then he left her when she thought she was HIV positive and even when he found out they were negative he still didn’t take her back! He married Tori! When this happened I definitely didn’t care about him anymore. I wanted her with Tron! I loved him and his family. He did Kai wrong tho. I do believe he was star struck with Aneesah. I love an age gap so I saw no problem with their age. However, what he did with Heather further maxed me out! So I guess it was back to Nyce. Poor Aneesah went through a lot! I could say so much more but I’ll be here all night! This is going in my top 5 for sure!
It was like an airplane ride w turbulence and you’re anxiety is going through the roof, but then you land safety. That’s how all 4 books made me feel. I am in awe how much this series felt real. Like every thing you touched on is based on everyday life mixed w a little fiction for our entertainment. My god 17 years of off and on is a long time. True love never dies but I hope not wait that long lmao! So glad you made Aneesah get it together within the first few chapters. You didn’t drag out her addiction. Loved her growth. Glad she made Nyce work for her and bow down. I was happy that all lose ends tied together and bad their karma ...Loved the supporting characters (Pree, Morgan, Dontay, Knuck, Mookie, Rita, Mr.J ,Tron etc...) well until the next book you release. YOU HAVE GAINED A FAN !!!
Okay so as I said previously I love Aneesah. I live that she got her happy ending...I just hate that her happy ending was Nyce he in my opinion wasn't worthy of her love and devotion. No she wasn't a Saint but all of her stuff was a reciprocal of what he'd done to her EXCEPT HER ADDICTION. He treated her like trash. The best thing that he did was to help get her clean. I kept getting mad every time they were like he did six years for her cause no tf he didn't. He was a kingpin he got caught, Lamar got with Yaya and turned her and she snitched for him. Speaking of I'm glad that was handled bc Yaya been had that coming!!
Overall I loved this series I wish someone could have really stole my girl heart from Nyce but hey she loved gim and happy and she definitely deserved it.
Shataya Simms YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! **SPOILERS**
Lets see where im going to begin. First off the book was amazing i finshing it in 2 days i could not put it down. Im a little sad that its over unless somebody gets a spin off. The yaya portion ummm i like the way she went out but her azz deserve a old hood whipping. The build up of the book was great even thou ani was pissing me off on how she was treating nyce when he was trying to make it right #NyceIsBae! The seen with tron and his cousins singing at the bar i almost thru my kindle because that Dru Hill song is my favorite song! Well i can go on and on but ill wait till the book discussion. I cant wait to see whatelse you have in store.
All I can say is wow! This is one hell of a banging series. From book one I just couldn’t put the book down. It just sucks you in deeper and deeper. This series is definitely worth recommending. The storyline, the lyrics, the execution...everything is just on point. Aneesah , she went through a lot. At a time I thought to myself this is it....she’s done. And Nyce, lord he was up and down my ladder. At a time I just gave up! But the chemistry that Aneesah had between she and Nyce as well as Tarron....that was real chemistry and love. I even got scared. I totally loved and enjoyed this series. This author has serious pen game. Definitely looking forward to reading more of her work. Fantastic job!
5 stars!! If I could give it more I would. I don't know why I waited so long to read this series but thanks to a fellow reader posting about it, I decided to jump right in & an so glad I did!! Aneesah was done with Nyce but not really. She loved him & couldn't really get over him. She was just so angry. He broke her heart for the last time & she couldn't take anymore. Nyce loved her but knew he had made a big mistake & wanted to fix it but it was almost impossible to fix without resorting to his old ways. Eventually things get worked out. Now I'm curious as to the very ending where Nyce mentions finding out the info on Serge. Been curious since Serge said he cut his own tongue out. Made me think he was in some type of mob.
This book was everything and more. I'm so happy Nyce &Ani finally got their happy ever after because I was going to pull my hair out if they didn't!!😅😂😂 It was perfect they're ending was absolutely perfect! Dang Nyce why Dani!!! But I understand the safety of his kid and his family as a hole. But I still sad☹☹😢😢 I have completely fallen in love with this series and i feel like everybody is extended family in this novel. Thank you so much for sharing this awesome, absolute phenomenal series. You have definitely gained on Lifetime fan and Reeder I can't wait to see what your next project will be God bless😍😍😘😘😘
I’ve read each installment for Living Anonymous and in each book, the character development is PHENOMENAL!! Aneesah & Nyce has an electric bond. They’re truly inseparable. There wasn’t a dull moment in this book and although tragedy occurred, Aneesah never lost her way! It’s not everyday you read a book that takes you to a place you’ve never been... but it’s so familiar. Unveiled did that for me! Not only was it lengthy, but it had that ole’ school feeling that today’s books are missing. Shataya, your talent is rare! You’re such an amazing writer and you truly outdone yourself with this series!!! Unarguably, this was an amazing read!
WOWSER!!!! This entire series was a rollercoaster ride that I honestly wanted to get off more than once but HAD to know how it would end. This book is not for the faint of heart and definitely not for anyone that needs a quick and easy read. I kept thinking the entire time that this poor girl can’t win for losing and by book 3, wasn’t even sure I wanted her to end up with “him” (trying not to give spoilers).
Overall, it was an angsty read that I couldn’t put down. I look forward to seeing what future projects this author comes up with.....but NOT RIGHT NOW!!! I am going to focus on reading about unicorns and rainbows and la la life is great shit for a few months!
When I started reading this series I did not realize how much I would fall in love with this crew. Annees and Nyce, Pree and Knuck. I love how Diane and MJ loved Annee. Unconditional and with no motives. This was beautiful. Nyce and Annee both were forces to be reckoned with and my prayers were answered. I could barely finish because I was scared of the outcome? Shataya Simms left no stone unturned with this series and discussing so many subjects drug abuse, rape, relationships and recovery. Absolutely 10********* and thank you for such a beautiful ending. The masterpiece of it all....for me..Serge. Damn!
I LOVED IT !!! I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. I think it would be cool if you did a story about the next gen with all the kids . It could be cool to see if annesah's kid's go into the music biz or if they go down a different life path. Hoping you have more out. These books mesmerized me. I could CLEARLY see EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN my head that is how engrossed I got in it. Thank you for writing such vivid and great stories. Not sure if I want to go backward with NYCE's story though. If I had known that was his story growing up I would've read it first. I don't go backwards ... Lol Keep up the awesome work girl.
These two Aneesah and James 17yrs roller coaster ride and no it wasn’t always Nyce but his hurt and already having abandonment issues. I don’t want to give nothing away but Serge tho... Tyron was cool but she f’d up that but Heather was to comfortable in her s*** I was so mad about her hiding, smh 🤦🏾♀️ Nyce was big mad about baby girl; “nah put her back”” we got a receipt” dfl 😭 Babies and forevers Love the ending I really enjoyed this series the wait was definitely worth it
I need paperbacks immediately! This entire series is worth it! From start to finish I loved everything about it. The deep love Nyce has for Ani! And vice verse! How despite the many obstacles they go through, they other people the tend to be with they always find themselves right back to each other! I’m sad to see the story end but with Nyce last chapter of the book I kinda knew he did what he said he did in the last paragraph but my jaw still dropped. This series was an extreme rollercoaster and I just LOVED IT! 💚💙
So worth the wait. When the author posted in one of the TH groups that we readers were probably NOT going to like Nyce in this last book, let me just tell you SHE AIN'T NEVER LIED!!!! Man, had me wanting to go stalk Philly and Jersey looking for this man. And that tramp of his, she would have got it too. Now, let's not forget Aneesah was no saint in ANY of these books, she would gotten shaken to put some sense into this girl more than a few times too. But all got worked out in the end. Cannot wait to see where your storytelling takes us next.
Whoa!!! Now that's how you end a book!!! Ms. Shataya didn't disappoint in this last book. I enjoyed every bit of it. I tell you Nyce & Neesah didn't have it easy at all but I'm so happy the got it together. I liked Tron and Vic, you should do books on them... Especially Tron. Tori shouldn't have gotten a dime. Yaya was so stupid!!! Jealous of your friend that's been there for you 🤦 I understand why Nyce did what he did to Dani, she didn't care about life anymore and was just bringing Neesah down. Great series!!!!!
I loved this book so much it was well worth the wait!! My girl finally got the happiness she deserves even if it wasn't the happiness I wanted for her. Nyce got on my nerves so bad this book I still don't like him now that the book is over (#teamTron by the way lol) Overall this book was a very lengthy, well written, and one helluva Rollercoaster ride that I'm not ready to get off. I can't wait to see what you got up your sleeves next
So freaking good . I'm so happy they finally can be happy and be together without the drama they deserve each other it took them a min but finally finally got it right . I love the story line from book one the characters are amazing I love how hard you fought for Dani but sometimes you have to let go especially when that person don't want help but Dani was a really good person just sick but that's what drugs do right I kind of figured he nyce killed her
So sad that this is the end of the series but it was worth the wait. Shataya you have not disappointed when you put this series together. I had moments of anger, laughter, and sadness while reading but through it all I was rooting for Nyce and Aneesah. Although they had a rough 17 years of ups and downs, Nyce and Aneesah still had that true love for one another. #TEAMANESSAHANDNYCE. Looking forward to what you have in the works next. Excellent job
I'm blown away by every book in this sseries. someone recommended this author to me and I am so glad that I took a chance with her. Her attention to detail and giving a complete story is what I love best about her writing style. This book ties up all Loose Ends and I Am So Satisfied with the ending to their Journey. I can't wait to read whatever she has coming up next.
First let me say that I absolutely loved this series! However, this was my least favorite out of four. I couldn't get with all song lyrics and parts of the story, couldn't keep my attention like the others did. 600+ pages of the author closing out questions that went unanswered in the previous stories and Nyce will forever be BAE!! I highly recommend this series because this author has a gift and I'm looking forward to what she has in store in the future.
I started this book Fri morning and it's now Sunday afternoon. I couldn't put it down and when I did I was dying to get back to it. This book was definitely worth the wait. You did it! You are an amazing detailed author. I am so glad I have been able to read and love all of your books.
This book was amazing , I thank you for letting Annesha get her happy ending finally. The fights, relationship drama, crazy secrets thus book had it all. And it played out very well, I couldn't put it down and I didn't want it to end. I will miss the gang, Nyce, Knuck, pree and tudy, I grew to love them like. family.
I'm always rooting for my girl Aneesah to get it right. I had high hopes for the finale and I was not disappointed. Emotions were high, laughs were plenty and lessons were taught. What more could you want in a book? Can't wait to read whatever is next for Ms. Simms
I read this book twice already since it came out. I'm glad she finally got her happy ending. Even though she had to come out of character a few times LMAO Nyce had me so damn mad but I see he got his self together. No matter how mad they are, they always looked out for each other. You did ya thing girl can't wait to read what you will release next 💜
