This is part two of the duet....and it's a highly emotional ride.

Getting matched to hospitals in different cities was never going to be easy for Thom and Perrie, but they were determined to follow their respective dreams and then end up together. But when Thom's asthma progresses to lung cancer, his life plan goes awry and he breaks up with Perrie.

Broken, Perrie focuses on her work and though she gets what she wants career wise, her heart has never moved on. When she ends up working in the same

If you love someone, would you do what he did? I don't know and hopefully, I'll never find out. I thought that what he did was good in some ways...he wanted her to be happy and to move on with her life so he made a personal sacrifice. However, if he truly loved her, wouldn't he want her to make the decision for herself. She might have chosen him or maybe not. Now he will never know. Bri did a GREAT job making you truly "feel" Perrier and Thom's story. This was one that made me teary-eyed quite a few times, it kept me turning the pages for more ups and downs on the emotional roller-coaster I was on. Due to the time frames being spread out over years, it left a lot of blanks for my imagination to fill in, but you could just feel the strength of love dripping off the pages.

This is the second half of the "The Brightness Duet". You definitely need to read them in order. This was a sweet but emotional story. I liked the build to the relationship it was different. I enjoyed the continuation in Thom and Perrie's story. After the intense cliffhanger the first half left you with this one did not disappoint.

Thom & Perrie are continuing there paths in medicine studying at different hospitals neither realised how hard it would be.
The story is emotional & goes to show that life & plans never go as expected. I found it difficult to follow in some places but overall a lovely story.

they are both at medical school. she will not allow anyone to affect her chances. so when he comes along she tries to stop him getting too close. he had never had a challenge when it came to women until he met her. he wanted. will they take it further? will it ruin their chances? see what will happen

Wow what an absolute cracker of a way to finish, I've cried so hard through this book, the love they have for each other, in the end that's what pulls them through. I had a serious book hangover after I finished.

Bri Stone writes page turning, skin tingling new adult romance. If she isn't writing, she is probably reading, binge watching anything on Netflix, or imaging crazy scenarios in her head that will probably never happen. When she is not cuddling with imaginary book boyfriends, she is wading through her English classes at the University of Iowa.
