This is a paranormal shifter short-read with lots of sass and sauce! It is the fourth in a five-part series about five separate couples' stories set against the backdrop of one wedding. You may encounter cliffhangers between books, but each couple's story always eventually ends happily. No cheating!

I'm not sure what has happened to this author but every male she writes she emasculates him. They all seem to be wimps and idiots. But the woman oh wow they are the only ones with half a brain. Instead of writing what her characters are telling her to write she is IMHO writing her views of the world. It seems for some reason everyone from the south are country bumpkins.
If it was just one book ok. But it looks like she is incorporating this in all her books recently.

I could have enjoyed this book so much more if not for that.

From the first page I knew I was going to love it. I love a best friends to lovers trope but adding in the paranormal aspect makes it even better. There is an attraction you feel from both of them but they are both scared that the other doesn’t feel the same. This is a very fast paced book and is a part of a series. I would recommend reading the others even though it’s a standalone there are interconnected characters and shared stories. Even though I had read the first book I think I would of benefited more to read the other books and meet the other couples. It’s beautiful written and I’m true Abby Knox style gives you all the feels. I look forward to more from this series and more from this author.

Prologue starts out with something amiss in one of a Wolf shifters tattoo shop, and a stray yellow lab takes off to find Pen and Bobby for help. Pen and Bobby are Wolf shifters that have been best friends since they were young, and have been fighting their feelings for about that long, neither wanting to jeopardize their friendship. But as we all know, best friends normally make the best mates. They are still at the wedding reception when the lab finds them, then we get a little suspense and action for these two lovebirds. Baby batter aplenty, an epilogue and hea for these soulmate besties.

WHAT THE EVERLOVING F**K? This whole stupid series was one cliffhanger after another. I read every single book because the first book ended with a cliffhanger and the h was still a freaking virgin at the end of the book. Guess what? Read every book and that has not been rectified. On top of that, this book ends in a bloody cliffhanger with someone being arrested and there’s not another book! Where’s the rest of the f-ing story? I’m so pissed 😡

We have been building towards Pen and Bobby from the start of this series. It totally lived up to my expectations. Their history is long and filled with some serious feels but neither want to mess up their friendship. Bobby also has some issues with thinking he is a monster in Pen's eyes. The longing these two have hidden for so long could power a small city. I loved watching them work through the doubt and the fear and become a bone deep contented couple. So, so good!

This is the story about the wolf shifters Pen and Bobby. They both were in love with each other for years but neither of them made a move. Now at Ashs and Rosemarys wedding things change and they finally admit their feelings. A sweet,safe steamy and romantic story with action and with a sweet HEA. 😍😍😍Another sweet read in this shifter series. Can't wait for the final installment of this series 👍👍👍

Nice but ended with a cliffhanger ...... and no idea of whether there is another book in the series or not?!!
Some hints were made that there is going to be a book for lionel but there is nothing to back up those hints!!
I'm mad as hell as i still don't know what happened during the ceremony since the first book!!!

Will Pen be able to pull Bobby out of his darkness. Can a battered soul accept his happiness. Pen will do anything for Bobby. This is a phenomenal read that pulls on your heart

I was sent a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
I haven't had the privilege of reading the other three books in this series, but it didn't matter. In this book I was introduced to Pen and Bobby.
Being friends since they were small children, Pen and Bobby shared everything no matter how personal. But the one thing Pen wanted, Bobby hadn't given her - himself. But then her best friend Rosemary gets married and things change. The story is exciting and fast paced. Full of twists and turns and a bit of laughter as well, I loved it.
I've been a fan of Abby Knox for a year now and even if any of her books is light on the sexy scenes she still writes a darned good story. Highly recommended.

This is the fourth book in the Her Big Easy Wedding series by Abby Knox. Bobby Jordan is a wolf shifter, and he owns Bobby’s Tavern. He’s known Ash, Vann, and Gavin since they were kids along with Penny. He’s known Penny for 15 years and he’s been in love with her probably just as long. In the first book, (Taking the Belle) we get a hint about something that happened when the five wolf shifters were younger, something that especially affected Penny and Bobby. Penny is a wolf shifter, she’s best friends with four male wolf shifters but she loves Bobby as more than a friend. After fifteen years she still gets butterflies whenever she sees Bobby but because of the incident he pushes her away. When the two of them are in a dangerous situation together Bobby’s first instinct is to bolt. Will Penny get to him before he leaves town ?

This review is for the updated version of the book! I really enjoyed Pen and Bobby’s best friends to lovers story. They were engaging, fun, sexy and their link on the page was palpable. This is a really fun series and all of the books are different and connected.you will not regret the fun series
