It's not easy for Maria to be so sure that her family loves her sister best.

Maria Slater could scream! Just once she would like them to notice her. Instead of perfect, genius, never-had-a-bad-hair-day Nina. But that's never going to happen. Because everyone in the Slater family knows who's important. And it definitely isn't Maria.

---
I'm sick of it. I want to scream.
Just once I'd like them to notice ME.
Instead of perfect, genius, never-had-a-bad-hair-day Nina.
But that's never going to happen.
Because everyone in this family know who's important.
And it definitely isn't me.

Francine Paula Pascal was an American author best known for her Sweet Valley series of young adult novels. Sweet Valley High, the backbone of the collection, was made into a television series, which led to several spin-offs, including The Unicorn Club and Sweet Valley University. Although most of these books were published in the 1980s and 1990s, they remained so popular that several titles were re-released decades later.

Okay. So, I've been letting myself re-read these books and now remembering some of the upcoming story lines, I think I'm going to take a break again.

Still not rating these because I don't necessarily feel like rating nostalgic re-reads is fair.

This senior year is a little slow, not much going on in the plot. However, learning more about Maria kept me interested. I’m just so worried about Angel, you know that boy about to mess things up 😳

It felt more like filler than story. But I’ve been enjoying character development (Jessica) and character regression (Elizabeth). It’s still nice having other characters povs though.

Even if Maria was horrendous in this one.

Tia and Jessica were hilarious. The was rest was pretty boring.

This book is a lot about Jessica receiving anonymous presents from Will. Also about Maria, who becomes a drama queen.

Nothing too special, the story a little bland.
