Aziz Hamid Madnis kuliyat was bought on the recommendation of noted URDU critic Parekh Sahib. However much of the book failed to resonate as it is filled with abstruse Persian idiom which I find insynchronous with the present times- as relevant as they were in the age Mir and Ghalib. However there are some ghazals which, apparently inspired by Ghalib, are very original in thought and style. But really his verbose nazm style was indeed very laborious. Not a bad read if you "discount" the weight and the price of this compendium.
