Second Chances

Taylor has been in love with her best friend's brother, Aaron, since she was 12 years old but he just treated her like a little sister.  But on the night of her graduation he REALLY noticed her and one thing lead to another and they end up alone on the beach and he takes her v-card.  They both are shocked by how much they enjoyed it but , Aaron behaves like a real jerk and leaves her alone whilst sleeping on the beach!!!!  She doesn't see him again for years as he goes off to colle

This is a great taboo story about Taylor and Aaron. Taylor is best friends with Aaron’s little sister, Chelsea and they both cheer and Taylor has always lived in the shadow of Chelsea. Aaron is a quarterback football star who was pushed by his dad his entire life and decides to play college ball at UCLA and walks away from his hometown after graduating high school. Everyone thought he would stay and play for his dad and then go Pro. The night before he leaves him and Taylor have a night to remem ...more

Good book. Nothing too weird. I hate in these books if they call each other sis or stuff like that. This book didn't do that. it was about the h. and her bffs parents getting married when they were college age. The h. falls for her bffs brother years before and they rekindle at the wedding kinda.

overall it was a good book, I don't really care for sports stars but the H was alright. not great but ok. The sex was hot and detailed and not rushed. 3.5/5. The ending tho.. while the family didn't car

TOO HOT TO TROT!!!
If you're looking for a fast paced, easy to follow, action packed, betrayal, deceit, lies, backstabbing, nailbiting, smooth flowing read that captures your attention and holds it till the end. Congratulations my friends you've found it. I was hooked from the start. Twists and turns abound as the tale unfolds. The characters and scenes were realistic and believable. I was fascinated following the characters as their personalities transformed and blended. Enough drama for a dayti

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I was so happy to see that Aaron and Taylor got their own story. We met Taylor back in the story of her best friend Chelsea in Out of Bounds. Aaron is Chelsea's brother and Taylor has had a crush on him for a very long time. Now they meet up again when Aaron's father and Taylor's mother are getting married. The attraction is still there but with their parents getting married it brings up questions for both about giving into feelings they have ignored f ...more

I read this book as part of an arc program. I really liked this second chance romance between Taylor and Aaron. After Taylor graduated, Aaron took her virginity and then left before morning, never to contact her again. Taylor and Aaron's sister were best friends and when Taylor's mother was going to marry Aaron's father, no one expected Aaron to return for the wedding. Aaron had left to go to college across the country instead of playing college football for his father, the coach at the local co ...more

I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review. I found the book entertaining about a college quarterback, Aaron, and Taylor who has loved him since she was a teen. It was an unusual plot filled with passion between Aaron and Taylor and there was some serious complications in Aaron's life. For one he did not get along with his father who was the local college football coach. Also he was having dilemmas in his football career. Plus he had feeling for Taylor ...more

I loved this book!! Juliana Connors did an amazing job with this one. Second chance romance and a step brother book all rolled into one. The way she wrote this you could really feel the emotions from the character and though they are young they were genuine. Misunderstanding and no communication leaves a family strained and now they are all together again, even though things are not going smoothly. Secrets and lies, passionate moments and a showdown all combine to make for a riveting read. Great ...more

Aaron's life is basically falling apart--he avoids his family because of tension with his dad and he football career could very well be at an end due to a doctor injecting him with a banned substance instead of cortisone. On a trip back home for his dad's wedding, he sees his younger sister's best friend Taylor, who he last saw when he left her on the beach sleeping after he devirginized her. And the chemistry is all still there. They are both going through major things at the moment. When they ...more

This is a best friend's brother/soon to be stepbrother romance. The heat level between Taylor and Aaron was high, their chemistry sizzling, even if they did try to deny it. I liked that along with their relationship, there was a small mystery thrown in. I did figure out who was behind what happened to Aaron before it was revealed, but I didn't realize the connection of characters so that was a surprise. This was a fun story that kept me reading wondering when they would admit their true feelings ...more

I briefly met Taylor and Aaron in another of Juliana's books and it was fun reading their story. Taylor was his sister's best friend and he gave her her first 'O' before he left town. Years later he's back for the wedding of her mother and his father. They think that one last fling will clear their systems, well all it did was heat it up. Complications from their parents getting married, secrets about a sports injury and relationship problems with his father all lead to the suspense and drama. N ...more

Loved it. Well written. He thought one hook up years ago would be enough. But things have a way of sneaking up on you. Then you have to overcome people and their opinions and so much more that comes with something like that. How strong are you and how much do you want it? It is emotional, exciting, suspenseful, hot and so much more. I recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

This is a wonderfully written story that has everything you could want. It’s a story that gripped me from the beginning and kept me excited until the last page. Aaron and Taylor have a history from high school that continues after two years apart. Juliana brings the characters to life jumping off the pages and becoming characters you become vested in. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

An amazing story with characters that has a fantastic chemistry and passion. They are well described and likeable. Storyline and plot is great and the story is, as always, very well written. Story about daring to take the one you are attracted to and the best match for you. Not to think about what the opinion of others are.
The emotions, steamy scenes, chemistry, passion and twists makes it an awesome read.

A quick read that offers plenty of heat, heart and a touch of taboo. Aaron and Taylor hooked up once and then Aaron just left. Now years later they are reunited because their parents are getting married. The sizzling chemistry is still there and they decide to give in and burn off the attraction by having a fling. But what happens when it turns out to be so much more? A great read with a fun storyline and complex characters. I'm posting a voluntary, honest review after reading this book.

I was surprised with how much I enjoyed this book in the end. It was well written and I just loved Taylor and Aaron’s interactions and the banter between them. I loved how everyone was so accepting of them when the truth came out.
It was great seeing where Chelsea and Wesley were at together. I’m happy they all got their happily ever afters

A fantastic read, this book sucked me in from the start. Family drama, recomposed families, loyalty, betrayal, bereavement, this one deals with a lot of issues but in a sweet non-imposing manner. Loved the characters and their interaction as a family unit. I voluntarily received an ARC of this book.
