Poppy Torian has been in love with Jerimiah since she moved to Caroline Springs. Only he didn’t know she existed until her dad joined his father’s MC club, the Venom’s.

Friends. It’s what’s she been assigned to, but Poppy wants more. Biding her time, a few years to be exact, she goes to make her move. But when she overhears Jerimiah saying things that crack her heart, she runs.

In an emotional state, she makes a grave mistake and heads directly into the path of trouble. Poppy has no choice but to leave town; it’s the only way to protect the people she loves.

Jerimiah “Fang” Liang has dealt with a lot of crap in his life. A corrupt father, an MC he doesn’t want to be a part of—until he changes clubs and hooks up with the Hawks MC—and the loss of a woman he thought could be his forever. Until she left him for four years, without giving a reason why.

But sh*t really does happen for a reason. She’s back in town and is the one woman who currently doesn’t want anything do to with him. But Fang is determined to change her mind, to help her out and win her over… despite the possible fallout.

Please note: This is book #6 in an MC spin-off series, but it's more light and based on the hero finding his love interest than club business.

DNF so no rating.

I didn’t believe for one minute he really loved her. It seemed a bit forced to me. I felt more of a connection between him and the woman he really loved who was with someone else.

But the double standard bullshit is what stopped me reading. Got no time for shit like that.

Nary…. Christ, Nary was another story. A love I’d lost to my brethren because I’d been stupid to think she’d eventually love me. She had, but it was never a strong hold like she’d had for Vicious.

I’d lost Poppy too. She’d left without telling me and refused to take my calls. I didn’t understand why. I still don’t.

But back then, I’d met Nary, and she’d been a welcome distraction.

Didn’t realise my feelings for Nary would grow so fast, but they had. Hell, I never thought I’d get over losing Nary.

Could have been good…BUT… no.

Sometimes I read books despite seeing trusted reviewers reviews which should have been my SIGN TO ABORT THE READING MISSION.

Sadly, I read this book and as usual the heroine is in love with hero when they are in their teens / young adult and of course so is hero but does nothing but get with everyone else. She of course is not allowed to date under his watch. She ends up moving away for 4 years after the hero dad SA her. (The dad is bad news and one of hero’s reasons for not going after her when she leaves to protect her from his creepy dad, for clarity the hero doesn’t know about the SA).

Anyway the hero finds himself in love with someone else for awhile and they are in a relationship but then that doesn’t work out. This could have worked too if the heroine had some good happy times too while she was away for four years…she doesn’t - she’s busy pining away for a loser and that makes her a loser too.

Heroine comes back bc her mother is sick and without much resistance they get together and even play happy families with the ex gf bc you know he was really in love with heroine. What a load of trash. Throw this book away.

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book

Every time I see a new release for Lila Rose I am freaking ecstatic. And man the Hawks are my boys.
This book was another amazing story from this author

Fang and Poppy became friends when Poppy was the new kid at his high school and she was being tormented by the 'cool kids'. He decided they were going to be best friends, and they were
Until Fang said something stupid and thought that she didn't hear, but she did and he hurt her. Unbeknownst to Fang something else happened that made Poppy pack up and leave. Cutting all ties with him and he didn't understand why.
Poppy thought by leaving she was protecting Fang and her father when she left home. Now she is back to help her dad out with her mom being sick. That also means she comes face to face with the man she was once in love with. But Poppy is also in danger from a biker she went out with on a few dates. Now he wants to claim her and will do everything to keep her, especially when he sees Fang hanging out with her. And to make matters worse he is part of the Venom MC club, Fangs old club.

Fang will do everything to protect Poppy. He finally got her back and he's not giving up on her again. But what will he do when he finds out the real reason she left? Will he be able to live with himself and will he be able to stop the psycho who's after her now.

This book was everything I expect from Lila Rose and from a Hawks book. Danger, violence, steamy sex scenes and lots of drama, so freaking good. I hope this series never ends☺️❤️

From the cover, to the story, then through to the epilogue, I couldn't have asked for a better journey than the one Lila Rose took me on in this book. Really enjoyable, and I'd recommend.

When a Hawks’ brother makes up his mind and claims a woman, there’s no going back, so try as Poppy might to remain hurt and angry about what went down between her and Jeremiah when he unknowingly broke her heart and put her in the position to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, unequivocally altering what they had hoped was a future together, Poppy can’t resist the pull she still feels to the man who has always owned her body and soul, and now that Jeremiah has his Poppy back in his life, he’s not wasting anymore time, claiming her as his regardless if she likes it or not.

Poppy and Jeremiah share a complicated past, and Lila Rose does a good job of illustrating the present and Jeremiah’s quest to get the girl that should have been his from the very beginning and transitioning to the key moments in their past that sent them in opposite directions, leaving them with only half of their heart.

I love that Rose brought two motorcycle clubs together since they’re both a part of the hero and heroine’s lives. The Hawks MC and the Venom MC might not be rivals exactly, but there’s still a certain need to retain power and control over their respective territories and their members, so having two clubs in rather close proximity as well old members patching in to the other club can make for some unfriendly encounters. But, because Poppy’s dad, Charlie, is a member of Venom and Jeremiah once was a Venom brother and now wears a Hawks cut and both clubs are trying to be on the straight and narrow for the most part, there isn’t that much bad blood between them, and it’s that camaraderie, in the end, that helps Poppy to fix her troubles and it’s also the people at Poppy and Jeremiah’s back that want these two to have a future together - the one they should have had before mistakes were made and lives were altered.

Jeremiah is an alpha male to the core, which is exactly the kind of man that Poppy needs. He’s always seen her as his future, and even though he fought it and his mouth ruined their first opportunity, this time around, he’s not backing down and he’s not allowing her to freeze him out, which means that the cat and mouse game she’s been playing with him is not going to work, and I loved watching Jeremiah claim Poppy in every possible way…it wasn’t rushed, but he also refused to give her anymore space than what she finagled on her own, so as their story progressed, readers got to see one hot alpha male get his girl.

I’ll admit that Poppy’s rationalizations frustrated me, at times. I get that it’s easy to let one’s heart and emotions dictate actions, and I can also kind of see why she would want to fix her troubles so they don’t cause anyone else any damage. But she has all of these kickass bikers at her back - ones who would gladly lay down their lives for her, and even though that’s exactly what she’s trying to prevent, she definitely couldn’t handle things on her own, so I’m glad she finally sees the light and little by little lets others help her with situations that were never her fault.

I really enjoyed Fallout, which is not surprising because I love everything that Lila Rose writes, especially her bikers, and I am more than intrigued by the trio who are headed our way in her next biker book!

Poppy to my Fang <3

>>> So many thoughts, and opinions, along with a bunch of SPOILERS in the inside of this review<<<<<<3

I hope the author will write a story about Alvin, Poppy brother (I mean he still a Hawk right)? I want to know what happened to him to make him the way he is. It cannot have to do with Switch (Fang, dad). Not only, that, I hope she writes a story about Muff and even Gamer. I hope so. Towards the end, it has me curious with East (Easton), and Lan! Not only that maybe Parker and Lan have a thing; and maybe all 3 Lan, Parker, and East will end up together or just Lan and East. Cannot wait for that story either because I am curious now and want to know what up with Lan and East.

When it comes to this story, I’ve wanted to read Fang and Poppy story, after readings book five because of what happened with Fang. For one I already knew this book was going to be good. Like every book, I’ve read by this author (no ) every Mc hawk series I’ve read by her was good. The only one of her storylines pisses me off. Was that of Saxon and Nary..... but with this story it was good. Moreover, I wasn't disappointed at all from beginning to end it had my attention. Cannot wait for the next book. I know it’s going to be a good one.

I still think that Parker and Lan are dating or something because something isn’t right about that situation. Plus, what’s up with the men beating him (Lan) up. Gosh, now I’m curious. Especially when Fang and Poppy son Nate mentioned he wasn't going to be kissing with a girl or boys like Uncle Beast and Knife but when he said Uncle Parker but was cut off by Charlie (Poppy father who's his grandpa). I was done for because I wanted to know whom Parker was kissing lmao ugh I bet it was Lan ugh. I hope the author makes this book soon got to be this year.

Oh my god I need to read the rest of this series. This book was so, so good. I haven't read any of the others in this series but I need to fix that A.S.A.F.P. not because I was lost but because it was so freaking good. I loved getting Poppy and Fang's story. This book was like a crazy roller coaster ride. Not only do we get to see their past and how they met, it goes from the past to the present but in a way that ties into their feelings and not confusing at all. Lila clearly lets you know when it switches and I loved how she gave us the background.

Poppy fled 4 years ago and cut Fang off from any kind of contact. Things happened and she was heartbroken from his actions and a secret she has been holding that only leaving would protect him and her dad. She is back now and now that Fang knows he is determined to make her his but not only does he have to conquer the unknown of why she left and get her to believe he wants more than friendship but there are outside forces as well. Things get dangerous and once again Grace thinks that staying away from Fang would be best.

This book was full of so much but it was just right. I was totally engrossed into this story and there was no going to bed until it was done. I devoured the pages in this book and time just flew by. I just had to know how it was all going to go down. This is a must read book and series. It has become one that I can not pass up on and one that has me eagerly awaiting for the next. I can't wait for the next!!!

Lila Rose has reminded this book whore once again why I enjoy her books so much, and she has added Fallout to the list of books that I love. Is there anything better than a friend to lovers, second chance romance and add in it is also a MC romance, and well you know that is one combination that I can’t help but want to read.

Jeremiah aka Fang and Poppy were best friends, until one day she up, left, and refused to speak to Jeremiah. Years have gone by but she is back and he is determined to not only get his girl but also find out the truth as to why she left. I was worried that the reason why she left was going to be petty because we only learn about a part of the reason why at first and it was a typical teenager kind of response. When you get the full picture, you understand and I can’t go beyond explaining that further because it would spoil it just know that she was right in knowing what would happen. The dynamic between these two, the history, the chemistry, and the friendship are all foundations to their relationship and even those mistakes that had been made, all play a part in the building of their relationship.

There are some heart breaking moments in Fallout as well as some action, drama and of course some sexy moments between Fang and Poppy. If you haven’t read the previous books no worries you can read Fallout as a standalone but I think you will have a better feel for the background if you do. I can’t wait for the next book because I need more!

This MC romance is a second chance love story about Jerimiah and his teenage love, Poppy. The main characters have a sweet chemistry that makes you want to keep reading past your bed time.

The story starts off with Jerimiah, aka Fang, having to deal with Poppy's older brother. He'd been trying to help the boy out by getting him in a new MC, trying to help him get a steady job, and trying to get him off drugs. Unfortunately for Fang some people you just can't help.

After he's forced to kick her brother to the curb, Fang has to talk to Poppy's father. A man who had been like a father to him when he was younger. The trip to the old man's house brings him face to face with the woman who's heart he broke and who has haunted her thoughts since she blew out of town.

Poppy isn't the 16 year old wide eyed innocent girl she used to be. She is jaded by the life she's had to lead since she left Fang and the MC she was raised in behind.

Once Fang lays his eyes and hands on Poppy again, though, he's not taking no for an answer. She's going to belong to him no matter what the cost.

This story was a well written British MC story. The author paints a very vivid picture of the struggle these lovers have to stay together. It's a nice story with a good plot filled with twists.

I love everything to do with all these Hawk men so when Fallout was next I had to preorder, once I started Fang and Poppy’s story I was hooked I just couldn’t put it down. Everything about these men is sexy there fierce, loyal, protective and loving fighting for what’s there’s and there family. I love how we still get to hear from The Ballarat Charter. I can’t wait to see what’s next, I just love Lila Rose books.

Yay! Another Hawks book. I love this series, so it awesome to have not only a new story, but also to meet couples from previous books and to see how they are doing.
And talking about new material, Fallout was packed. It had pain, tears, love, family and danger. So, in one word it was ensnaring. And I so don't want for Hawks ride to ever end.

Jerimiah ‘Fang’ is introduced in Vicious and Nary's book.

Poppy has always been bullied at school, Jerimiah was part of the popular crowd. Once he befriended her, things changed....their feelings for one another deepened. Sixteen to her fourteen, he recognised his father Switch’s predilection for young girls.

Continuing to hate Jerimiah, because he crushed her tender heart so many years ago, seeing him, she relived the night she’d overheard him talking about her, devastating her. Hurt that he never liked her as more than a friend and that her feelings had meant nothing to him.

She’d heard he was at a party, going in search of him, only, when she found him, she regretted it. Not wanting to go through the front door of the party, she snuck around the side and paused at the gate, looking over. It was then I saw him. He was sitting on a lawn chair with some stupid b*tch I didn’t know on his lap. They were that close I heard everything they’d said.
“You gonna come back to my room?” Jerimiah slurred.
The girl giggled. “Maybe. But only if you can tell me what’s up with you and that red-haired girl.”
“Poppy?”
“Yeah. She your girl?”
“Shit no.”
“Why do you hang with her all the time then?”
“Her dad and mine are in the same club. She follows me around all the damn time, can’t get rid of her. It’s a nuisance really. She doesn’t mean anything to me… but you, you could.”
“Bile rose. I clutched my stomach. Pain from his words cut me deeply over and over.
I wasn’t anything to him.
I meant nothing.
I was a nuisance.
God. It crippled me.
“Yeah?” she giggled.
“Oh, yeah.” He kissed her.
Jerimiah kissed her.
Nothing, she was nothing to him. Sneaking into the kitchen, she went in search of something to drown her sorrows. She wanted to forget his words.
In the walk-in refrigerator, she grabbed the first bottle she saw, unscrewed it and took a big gulp. Then she heard footsteps, slowly, turning, dread filled her.
Switch. Jerimiah’s dad was standing there with a look in his eyes.

For years. He hadn’t known his father touched her. He hadn’t been there to protect her. Too consumed with his own petty worries about Poppy being too young and wanting her but had been too horny and stupid to claim her. His biding his time caused her to be vulnerable to his father. At the time, he was 18 and busy sleeping around to her inexperienced 16.

She returned home to be with her father, Charlie, a member of the Venom's MC, and her mum, Mary who has dementia, each day she’s less lucid. Trouble from her past (Python) comes to haunt and threaten her.

Fang was in love with Nary Mary until she fell in love with Vicious.

Past
(High school)
Jerimiah’s grin as he opened the door to me at his house was bright. It had been over a year since they’d become friends. He’d honoured her rules, of being friends without anyone knowing, until today.

After saving her from a school bully she introduced her friend Manda to Jerimiah. “Jerimiah, this is my friend Manda. Oh, and Jerimiah conned me into being his friend too.”
“How?”
“Our fathers are in the same motorcycle club.”
Jerimiah’s friend’s faces brightened in understanding.
“Guess the cat’s outta the bag now and you’ll have to hang with us,” Jerimiah said with a smirk.
“Ah, no.”
I took a sip of my drink and heard Manda whisper, “Are you crazy?” while Jerimiah’s friends’ expressions went back to being shocked.
“Why?” Jerimiah pressed.
“You’re in year ten. I’m in year eight. That should explain enough. If it’s not, there’s also the fact you annoy me too much.”
Jerimiah chuckled, then ruffled my hair. “You adore me.”
Rolling my eyes, I pushed his hand away. “You wish.”

“F…..’ hell, darlin’. You left me. We were close, and you left without returning my calls and texts. It’s gotta be aired about why you cut me out.”
“Did you really care?”
“Of course I f…..’ did.”
“If you did, if you really did, you would have taken the time to come find me.”
Well… Christ.
I opened my mouth, then closed it.
Her brows rose and she smirked, as if to say, “See.”
“You left me, Poppy. Like I meant nothing to you, and I didn’t understand why. I was hurting, confused, and goddamn pissed that the most important person in my life cut me out.”
“I had my reasons.”
“And I had mine why I didn’t come to you. You know how stubborn I am. I got my back up about you leaving without a bloody word.”

There are flashbacks from present to past. He restrains himself, earning her forgiveness for his past cruel words. They do not immediately fall into bed.

There is the threat of Python and Switch and in his own way, her brother redeems himself.

Book 6 in a series, Fallout reads well as a standalone. Fallout is a second chance love story between Poppy and Jeremiah. Young love is full of mistakes, and their story is no different.

Jerimiah and Poppy are an interesting couple. They both have secrets and regrets, but they click. Their story is a bit predictable at points, but also has a few unexpected twists. I really enjoyed Fallout, it was paced evenly, holding my attention throughout. The side characters were interesting and I'm looking forward to finding out more about them. Fallout was a fun read, and I would recommend to any second chance reader.

I didn't like this one. He broke her heart when she overheard a clubwhore ask him what Poppy meant to him. I think him being with the clubwhore would have been enough. Something else happens to her and she takes off.

I have read a lot of your book and enjoyed them. However, word of advice...do not give a Black man the nickname of blackie (racist undertones) then try to clean it up at the end by saying his last name is Blackcomb....it doesn't work

I honestly just love this series. Everything about it. I love the mix of m/f, mmf, m/m it's just brilliant. Each book has a different feel to it. Some are fun. Some are a bit scary. Some are devastating. Some are kinda sweet. Some... nope change that all are hella sexy!!!

Up this time is Fang. One of the newer members of the MC i was really looking forward to him because we didn't really know much about him. I do now!! I love him!!! he's cute? sweet? alpha? wonderful? sexy? YES YES YES to alllll!!!

Fang recently left Venom MC and joined Hawks. Hawks still having trouble with someone attacking their clubs have several new prospects. One of them is Alvin the brother of Fang's childhood friend Poppy. Alvin says something about Poppy that gets Fangs attention. After years of not seeing her he seeks her out to find out the truth. He always had a thing for her but one day she just upped and left for college without saying goodbye. He's run out of patience and wants to find out what happened.

Poppy always loved Fang but a misunderstanding years ago and a brush with danger sent her running. She didn't want to see him again but he storms his way back into her life. She's still a part of Venom through her dad and she doesn't think Fang has any right to barge into her life. She's got enough to worry about with her mom and looking after her dad without him saying what she can and can't do. Also her ex thinks he has claim to her and is causing trouble all over the place.

I loved the storyline. Its a second chances story and they always melt my heart. Poppy is sassy and sweet. Also fun. I loved her relationship with her best friend. The story skips back to the past and i always enjoy this it gives you a better insight as to how things happened.

Fang is a bit of an alpha cuddly!! lol he tries to boss Poppy but she doesn't let him most of the time. I swooned over him big time. He tries to be there for everyone and in parts he's torn between new club and old. He still has links with Venom it was just some members that caused him to leave. His dads return broke me a little to see what he'd had to put up with but his mom was a great character and i loved seeing the members of that group too. Roda, Blackies wife being my fave!! lol she's a lotta fun!

I honestly can't fault it. Loved seeing all the guys in there too. The club stuff had me gripped as usual. The whole story had me swooning for Fang and the humour broke it up when it got a bit heavy. There's some serious issues in here and the stuff with Poppy's mom brought tears to my eyes.

If you're a fan of this series it's a cracking addition. I can't bloody wait for the next book!!!! Lan, Parker and Easton!!! OMG Hurry!!! i need it!!!!

5 Fang-tastic stars!!

What would you do to protect your friend, the guy you have loved since you were a young teen aged girl? Poppy had to make that decision really quick when after overhearing her best friend, Jeremiah (Fang) say that he wasn't interested in her, puts her into a vulnerable and scary position...one that would put that friend in danger, she leaves town. Four years later she returns because her mother is ill, Poppy comes face to face with the man she has always loved but who shattered her young heart. She's angry, she's hurt and she lashes out. But Poppy has another problem. She dated one of the Venom MC brothers; well it was actually two dates, but he evidently has claimed her as his and he promises to make her his and soon. He's watching her closely, or having her watched, she knows it and now with Fang coming to her door, trouble is going to follow. Then there are her feelings for Fang. Yes she's angry with him, but tell her body that because every time he's near, she feels the pull and has to fight herself to not give in to him. I think she's fighting a losing battle.

The characters are well written, well defined and complex. Jeremiah is hot, of course, but he's also a member of another MC. Fang left Venom because he didn't like the way the MC run and felt that Hawks MC was right for him. Of course, his father was a Venom brother, and that had a lot to do with his leaving as well. He and his father didn't get along...at all. His father had a thing for young girls and Jeremiah had to watch when he brought girls home that he was interested in because his father would take interest in them as well. So when he brought Poppy to his house, his father noticed his son's attention to the young girl and Jeremiah noticed that look in his father's eyes. And he didn't like it.
Poppy had been an outsider when she arrived at the school. She was pretty, but no one paid her attention; at least not the good kind. She was picked on, bullied by the popular girls; and when she noticed Fang on her first day of school, she was quickly told not to look at him but the snooty little skank of the school. That's also the day she met Manda, and a fast long friendship began. Then when during the school assembly, the snooty skank purposely trips Poppy, Fang catches her and calls out the girl who tripped her. Their friendships began that day, as well as Poppy's love for Fang.

This was an amazing read full of angst, love, excitement, action and revelations. If you are a fan of MC reads, I highly recommend this book! I really need to go back and get the first 5 books of this series now that I've read this book!

Poppy fell in love with Jerimiah in high school, she was sure that Jerimiah didn't return the feelings and saw them as best friends, which they are, its just that Poppy wants more. When Poppy hears just what Jerimiah thinks of her, she ends up leaving Caroline Springs, unable to face him again. Years later, Poppy returns to help her father care for her ailing mother, and never thought that she would have to come face to face with the one person she really would rather not see, Jerimiah/Fang. When Jerimiah hears that Poppy has come back, nothing will stop him from making her his, not Poppy herself, nor the problems that come with her. But when the problems take a dangerous turn, will Jerimiah be able to make Poppy his, or will he be too late?

This was sooo good, and everything you want an MC story to be. Drama, danger, violence, sexy times, and a cast of characters that can keep you cracking up. I give this 5 stars.

When Alvin, a prospect that Fang/Jeremiah is sponsoring, spouts some disturbing things to the club about his sister Poppy; the girl that Fang has loved for years, Fang and his brothers race to Poppy's house to find out the truth. Fang knew she had returned after being gone for 4 years, and the spark between them was still there.

Poppy has loved Fang for years but when he starts insinuating himself into her life again she fights it. She feels he left the "family" when he left her father's club "Venom MC" to patch in with "Hawks MC", she still feels hurt from something she heard him say all those years ago and there's a secret she has been holding onto about what really drove her away from Caroline Springs. Not to mention someone else is falsely claiming she is actually his and will stop at nothing to make it so.

Plenty of drama, some action, secrets revealed and some sweet second chance sexy times and Fallout is another great instalment in the Hawks MC world. A nice little tease at the end also has me eager for Parker, Lan and East's book. Fallout gets 5 stars from me.

I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Poppy Torian has been in love with Jerimiah since she moved to Caroline Springs. Only he didn't know she existed until her dad joined his father's MC, the Venom's. Friends. It's what's she been assigned to, but Poppy wants more. Biding her time, a few years to be exact, she goes to make her move. But when she overhears Jerimiah saying thing that crack her heart she runs. In an emotional state, she makes a grave mistake and heads directly into the path of trouble. Poppy has no choice but to leave town; it's the only way to protect the people she loves.

Jerimiah "Fang" Liang has dealt with a lot of crap in his life. A corrupt father, an MC he doesn't want to be a part of-until he changes clubs and hooks up the the Hawks MC-and the loss of a woman he thought could be his forever. Until she left him for four years, without giving a reason why. But crap really does happen for a reason. She's back in town and is the one woman who currently doesn't want anything to do with him. But Fang is determined to change her mind to help her out and win her over...despite the possible fallout.

When Poppy was the new kid in high school she meat Jerimiah. She was also being tormented by the cool kids and he saved her and they basically became best friends. As boys sometimes do Fang was running his mouth and and Poppy overhears him and she is hurt. Beyond hurt really. That is when something happens that causes Poppy to pack up and leave town cutting all ties with him and leaving Fang to wonder just what the heck happened. She thinks that by leaving she is protecting Fang and her father but her mom is sick and she must go back. Now in danger and with Fang more than ready to make her his this story will have you reading this book as fast as you can to find out what happened. I loved this book. It is so great and you just fall so in love with these Hawk MC guys. It is filled with everything you have come to expect from a Lila Rose book. Danger, passion, steamy scenes and drama. You do not want to miss this book.

This is book 6 in the Hawks MC Caroline Springs Chapter and while each book can be read as a standalone you do at times see a continuing story from a prior book, but at no time are you felt left out to understand the story. So, if you have read them all, some of them or just this one I’m sure you will be like a lot of us and telling Poppy, that is My Miah sorry. Haha This book is about Jerimiah (Fang) and Poppy. The title says it all, there is a Fallout between these two and just like we don’t know why either do they at the time.
Jerimiah and Poppy were friends when they were younger, connected via the MC and while both had feelings for each other never acted on this. Just when Poppy was going to put herself out there she overhears something and runs, which also puts her in the wrong path. She leaves town and Jerimiah still has no clue on why. Upon her return to town, Fang is going to do what he can to get answers and recover his heart while Poppy is going to push back at all costs. We see the story told from present to past actions so that we can get a feel for what led them to this point and why.
We see an intermix of the Venom MC and Hawks MC and boy oh boy the twists, lies and drama that comes back to the present and I’ll say pretty full circle from the past is a hang on to your seat ride. Can the Fallout between these two and then the betrayal with the added love of both the crews be worth the risk of getting a HEA or that second chance? Lips are sealed. What I will say though it that as more clues start popping up and more secondary characters appear I’m excited to where this is headed. I know who is next and couldn’t be more excited.
Poppy’s dad and Manda, her BF are nuts when put together or alone when it comes to Poppy. The fact that he knew things but wanted to let Poppy handle this her way was hilarious and ball busting. There is not a Hawk guy you don’t fall for including the gals of Hawk! Love seeing where the others characters are now or trying to figure out who the next character is that will be getting a story.

Some late night rambles! I'll revisit to write a proper review when this book hangover fades and I have some sense of clarity in my brain. But for now here is my mumble jumble rambling on my first thoughts!

I can't even begin to describe the emotion roller coaster I just experienced through this story. It's been a shit week! Like seriously so mentally and physically draining I had enough. This book just purged all my problems away for a few hours.

She does it to me every time!! Every time I read one of Lila's books I somehow end up an emotional blubbering mess even after I finish reading it.

Poppy and Jeremiah's story is a sensory overload. It's filled with secrets and lies. So much heartache you'll feel a piece of your heart break every time you think back on it. A sweet sort of second chance/friends to lovers slow burn romance that will have you on the edge of your seat waiting for the goodstuffs to happen.. It teases you in the best ways. You laugh so much you'll cry and you'll cry so much you'll start to feel like you can't possibly cry anymore. You fall in love with every person becoming so invested in their journey to happy, relating to their struggles and connecting to their characters. I know it's fiction but the way it written makes it so easy to believe and hard not to feel. It's a journey for sure and not all hearts and rainbows!. You have stubborn broody alphas and surly sweet sassy heroines .. that combination is fire!. Its one big disfunctional family getting up to all kinds of crazy, absurd, some times dangerous and nearly always hilarious shenanigans. It's written seemlessly to perfection with the perfect balance of everything and the emotional capacity to destroy us as readers.

I haven't long finished it and I'm feeling devastated that it's over. I'm dying for what's next and I'm so curious about where it will go. The wait for the next release will be killer but so worth it!.

4 stars for - Fallout - book six in the Hawks MC: Caroline Springs Charter by Lila Rose. This can be read as a complete stand-alone from the series but many characters from previous books show up in this one.
Poppy Torian moved to Caroline Springs and fell hard and fast for the most beautiful boy at school. After a rough day at the new school she was shocked to find the gorgeous boy at her home for dinner with his dad. Since her father was joining that boy’s father’s MC club both families were getting together on the regular. Poppy was soon spending more and more time with the beautiful boy who goes by “Fang”. Years passed and and she was more in love with Fang and he treated her like a little sister so she loved him from a distance until the unthinkable happened and she had to leave town. Four years have gone by and her mother and father need her back home so Poppy is back in Caroline Springs with no idea that Fang is coming for her.
Jerimiah “Fang” Liang has been around for all long time throughout the series. He was once part of a rival MC and decided the Hawks were a much better fit for him and has been a loyal member ever since proving himself. Watching all his brothers fall in love has him thinking about the only girl he ever cared about and how she up and vanished from his life. Finding out she’s back in town and possibly in danger has Fang going after her the way he should have four years ago. He is going to stake his claim on the only woman he has ever loved in the way only a brother of the Hawks MC can.
I truly adore this series, it takes a healthy mix of laughter, tears, angst, mystery and danger to create all these unique stories with characters that are captivating yet you can relate to them too. I honestly hope she never stops writing about the members of the Hawks MC.

As most of you know, I love a good MC romance, in fact they are usually my go to variety when I want some down and dirty romance. Fallout by Lila Rose is a fantastic MC romance. As a new reader to Lila Rose’s writing, I didn’t expect much from her, but she blew me away and left me wanting more as a reader.

Fallout is Poppy and Fang’s story. High school sweethearts that have been torn apart due to a misunderstanding and after four years they are reunited. Fang wants so answers and Poppy isn’t ready to forgive Fang, this leads to some amazing confrontations and offers the readers some beautifully written past and present transitions.

I loved this couple! Their chemistry hits you right in the heart and you want them to end up together. Lila Rose can make her readers become invested in her characters and their story.
Poppy is a sassy character, who had her heart broken by the one person she thought she can rely on. She has strong family ties and stubborn. A girl I can totally relate too in all areas!

Fang, stole my heart and the show. His overprotectiveness was a turn on, when he sets his mind to making Poppy his, you know he is going to succeed. He is the perfect alpha to Poppy’s independent woman attitude.

Together, they are dynamite. Their story flowed beautifully and had a natural progression from pain to love. Of course, their antics in the bedroom, lit up the pages.

This is a great second chance love story with a touch of MC thrown in, making this the perfect story to read. Once I started reading, I could put the book down. It’s a fun and easy read that sucks you right into the world of Poppy and Fang. It's also a safe bet to say that i will be visiting the previous stories in Lila Rose's Hawks MC: Caroline Springs Charter asap.
