Just a quick note, this book does technically have cheating so if you have problem with that maybe it is not a book for you. But on the other hand keep your open mind and give it a try just like I did even I don't agree with infidelity. It is a story about neglected wife stuck in a loveless marriage and a son that is returning home to replace his father as a milkman that passed. He is the new local milkman and he is attracted to Kim that used to be his high school "dream girl". She's been throug ...more

He's that tall glass of milk I've always craved.

But the home I've made belongs to another man.
A man who refuses to give me what I need.

I never thought I could be that woman.

I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book strictly because of the subject matter. Cheating spouses is not an easy subject for me, but I trust Tabitha Kiss so I was willing to give this a chance. Boy, am I glad I did! This was not just good but great!!

Tabitha weaves a tale that grabs you from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go until the end. We learn who we dislike before the relationship between Kimber and Luke begins, and that is Curtis VanHouten. We meet him in the first chapter, wher

This is a sweet love story between two people from high school that later in life gets the chance for romance. Nate and Kimber went to high school together, she was the cheerleader type, Nate was the shy one who had a crush from a far. Nate moved off after graduating and Kimber stayed home later marrying. Nate's father passes away and he returns home for the funeral. Nate has all intentions of leaving after the funeral but mom needs help with the diary farm and he agrees to stay only until she ...more

The Milkman by Tabatha Kiss is an emotionally gripping and sizzling story. Kimber and Nate's story is one that involves Adultery. I will say this was a story that was tastefully written and written very well. The plot is one that will hook you from the first page and doesn’t let up with the drama, angst , intrigue and passion until the very last page. Kimber is a woman whose life hasn’t been easy in a while and then into her life comes Nathan, the “milkman”. Nathan definitely put a smile back on ...more

There will be many who will not give this book a chance because of the infidelity. While a lot of authors shy away from this subject, Tabatha Kiss took a chance and got a winner. The story is funny, emotional and steamy. Nate and Kimber are characters you will easily fall in love with. They both have things going on and go into the affair thinking it wouldn't last. After all, Nate is leaving in 3 weeks. He comes around when Kimber is at her lowest but he is not rea

“...a good underdog story” Funny, sweet and will love this romance

Kimber VanHouten is married. But it’s been a year since the car accident that left Kimber scarred and broken. Since then, her husband shown little interest in her and can’t accept her flaws. Her recovery is spent reclusive at home with just her paintings. She’s surprised when one day Nate Scott delivers her milk and groceries. They’d known each other since kindergarten. When Nate shows interest in her, Kimber can’t be

Let's start by saying, yes, this does have cheating in it. No, I don't condone it. But in this instance, I can forgive it. (When you meet her husband, you will understand.) He's had a crush on her since they were kids. She was the popular cheerleader who didn't give him a second glance. Years later, he comes back to town and begrudgingly helps work his families dairy farm until his mother can hire more help. One is his stops happens to be that of his longtime crush. “Sweet-&-sexy second-chance romance”

I received an Advance Reader Copy for THE MILKMAN written by Tabitha Kiss and voluntarily reviewed this book. One of Nate Scott’s banes of his existence was the four-generation-old farm and milk delivery service and the other was feeling tied to the whole business. So as soon as he could, he left this hometown behind. Until his father’s death five years later brings him back home, if only to help his mother, who refuses to

From the blurb we know this book is about adultery. Lonely housewife and sexy milkman crossing the line.
She’s unhappy married, but still married..
I was curious what is the problem with her marriage, because come on guys.. there has to be something wrong, right?
I’m happy I got this book. In the second chapter we meet Kimber’s husband
And that’s the first time I wanted to punch him in the face. He is selfish, rude egomaniac. He doesn’t care about his wife fe

I went into reading this story wondering which direction the author was going to go with this story. Was it going to be your regular milk man story. I did not find this the case.

There are several of us that probably know what it is like to be raised in a small town and be dying to get away. Where that is where Nate had been. He had actually escaped and was called back due to his father’s death. This had to make him feel trapped. Now his mother needed him and like most mothers she was good at gu

It's so good to be back in Clover! Cheating and adultery are not usually my cup of tea, but extenuating circumstances and a gripping story can make it not only palatable, but an enjoyable read. Kimber's gone through so much, has absolutely NO support system at home and virtually no contact with the outside world. Nate comes back in town and resumes his old duties as the town's milkman. Their paths cross almost immediately. There are a variety of emotions this couple goes through as Kimber heals ...more

Steamy, sweet second chance romance!

I always enjoy Tabitha's books. This was no exception. I wasn't sure how a milkman was going to work, but this story proved it can be done. Nate comes home to smalltown Kansas when his father dies. He's only going to stay to help his mom out with their dairy until she hires more help. She wants him for one specific job, milkman. So he reluctantly takes up the deliveries and in doing so rediscovers his high school crush, Kimber. She is now married to the jerk

This was one hot book!!

In my everyday life I am not a fan of adultery. However I can in my fantasy/reading life especially when it is written like this one.

This book tugged at your heartstrings in so many ways. Here is this woman who is broken who is married to a man who should be supporting her through her ordeal but yet all he can think about is himself and be cruel to her. Kimber is merely surviving, she isn't really living anymore. She is trying to through therapy but with an unsupportive hu

Tabatha Kiss- The Milkman
Tabatha strikes gold again! I’ve loved reading Tabatha’s sassy and funny and sexy adventures, and this one is no different. Growing up on a dairy farm can’t be easy for anyone, and our hero of the story Nate is no exception. Nate wants nothing more than to escape the dairy life in his small Kansas town. It is the untimely death of his father that begrudgingly brings him back to help out his mom on the farm. Funny how time seems to stop and take a step backwards when you

This is Tabatha Kiss' best work yet! Kimber VanHouten was the popular cheerleader who had it all in high school - looks, talent, and friends! After getting married, she becomes a recluse from a horrific accident that leaves her physically disfigured. Scarred both outside and inside, she refuses to leave the house. Her husband abandons her emotionally which adds to her loneliness. Nathaniel Scott, the milkman's son, returns to take his father's place as the milkman after his father's death. At fi ...more

~~~ Excellent Read ~~~
If you are easily offended by a romance involving a cheating spouse than you need to pass right on by this gem. But, if you are a true Tabatha Kiss fan, then you know she wouldn't write something that people would totally hate.
This book was fan-freaking-tastic. When I read the blurb, my slight taboo mind was "oh hell no", BUT, like I said, you have to think of the author and peeps, Tabatha wrote this book with so much feel and with so many swoon-worthy moments and it will
Note: ARC received in exchange for an honest review.
I was apprehensive because of the adultery theme, but (I can't believe I'm justifying it) I loved this very much.
I'm not a Puritan to say that adultery is wrong and the characters should be condemned. Tabatha Kiss really put a good spin on it when she set the characters and the circumstances. If it were adultery with malice, I'd not have read it. This is not the first story I read with this theme that I appreciated.
Whilst The Milkman may not be to everyone's taste as it has a storyline involving Adultery I found it very tasteful in the way it was written.
Kimber and Nate's story was an interesting storyline that mesmerized me from the first chapter and had me hooked throughout.
My heart actually broke for Kimber at times as she hadn't had an easy life recently.
If reading about an affair is a turn off don’t start this one but it you’re into great books that will hold you till the very end and you still want more well read on and find a good chunk of time because you are going to need it.
Aside from the affair, this book will capture you and make you feel so many things. You will feel empathy for Kimber and rage for Curtis but nothing but hearts and roses for Nate, aka the milkman.
See Milk IS Good For You!
One of the things that keep me coming back to Tabatha Kiss's books is her empowering, determined, find their way, kickn' booty and taking names female characters.
The Milkman is a fierce, titillating, humor-laden, " Bleeping right she should " kind of story that made me want to send virtual high fives to the author!
While it may not be the story for some since it condones extra martial activities, not something I for one would be all for- in this setting, I felt no disco
I really enjoyed this story. It does technically have cheating. Kimber is married but you quickly find out that there is a lot more involved between her and her husband, along with the fact that she has asked for a divorce. I really liked the way that this was handled. Kimber is trying to take her life back and figure out she is again after a horrible accident right around a year ago. Nate is back in town and they connect. They knew each other in high school but were never super close. Nate had ...more
The Milkman is a sweet, romantic, sexy small town , second chance romance. It deals with taking chances, the conflicts and joys of growing up in a small town , where everyone knows your business (real or made up) , self-esteem and acceptance. Also, there is cheating in this book ( not a big issue or trigger for me) and way it's handled was funny, on point and made sense why the cheating happened in first place.
I was entertained while reading this delightful and quirky story. I liked the H/h , th
The villain is her husband (Curtis) seems to consider her a burden and neglects her. The milkman (Nate) came home to help his mother after his father's funeral, on his rounds he notices Kimber on whom, he has had a crush and from here the emotional journey starts. Tabatha Kiss got my attention in chapter 2 and kept it till the end. My only complaint is I would have like more scenes between Curtis and Kimber. I know he is very absent in the relationship, but when there was times with him I could feel the tension. In my opinion Tabatha Kiss did a good job of portraying the tension between Curtis and Kimber. For my this was an emotional, heartwarming and hot steamy story. Not only could I feel Kimber's scars, I could also feel her sorrow. I liked the how Nat ...more
Wow! Very well done. I do not usually like a book that has cheating in it, but in this case, it is an exception. Having a milkman was even before my time, but this story was so much more than that. Kimber has went from from being the beautiful head cheerleader, to a woman with lots of scars on her body, as well as on her heart and soul due to a car accident, which is made worse by her horrible husband. Can Nate the Milkman save her with love and caring, as well as his family's dairy farm? Tabath ...more
