This Is truly an amazing story, it depicts the harsh reality of our Indian society but it does so in a beautiful way, here one sees everything that an average Indian child goes through in his life, we see the fun, madness of teenage love, a loyal dependable friend, dark side of our rural society where acts like domestic violence, harrasment for dowry and the youth getting destroyed due to substance abuse. We also see ravi's father as a ray of hope, a medium of change in society who constantly works to bring the change & looking back at his legacy his son decides to take forward his father's vision of a better village. Among all this the author regularly makes us laugh at the normal acts that kids of an Indian village do in their adolescence, the book is beautifully crafted and honestly presents the dilemma through which every Indian youth goes through in his early life, that is what to choose, should he step out of his village forever or stay and bring the change...

अजित भारती जी को मैंने काफी समय से social media पर follow किया है और उनके बोलचाल के तरीके से मैं खुद को काफी connect कर पता हूँ। अब इसकी वजह हिंदी है, उत्तर प्रदेश - बिहार का एक दूसरे से जुड़ाव है या कहिये विचारों की समानता है - मुझे ज्यादा पता नहीं, और ना ही इस विषय पर मैं कोई गंभीर चिन्तन करना चाहता हूँ | मतलब connect है तो है, अभी उसमे भी वजह ढूंढें ?

खैर, कहानी की शुरुवात से आप relate करेंगे, और इसके पात्र और घटनाएं ऐसी है, जो जीवन में हुई हैं |
middle class लौंडे जो की studies, career इत्यादि में उलझे रहते हैं, और जीते नहीं बस ज़िन्दगी ढोते हैं, मगर परिवार - बच्चो - माता पिता के सामने हमेशा हँसते रहते हैं, इसकी गहराई में गोता खा ही जायेंगे। बचपन का प्यार - अगर सफल हुआ हो - धर्मपत्नी के रूप में, तो प्रेम के विषय में जो विचार रखे गए हैं, और वह किस तरह से relevant हैं, आप महसूस कर सकते हैं |
Flashback की कहानी, school , cinema , फूल और कांटे, पहला प्यार, छठ... सब कुछ जाना जाना सा, और सही कहिये तो आप-बीती लगता है|
भाषा - भोजपुरी सी है, मगर लिखावट हिंदी है,
सामाजिक बुराइयों पर धयान खींचा गया है, मगर ब्राह्मण / पंडित को क्यों लपेटा या रगड़ा गया मुझे समझ मैं नहीं आया (दुख है, मगर क्षमा ज्यादा बड़ा धर्म और गुण है)
अगर निष्पक्ष तौर पर कहूं तो मैला आँचल के canvas पर मृतक भोज, 5 point someone जैसे उपन्यासों का सन्दर्भ दीखता है |
हिंदी भाषी (Cow belt) वाली जनता को पढ़ना चाहिए, मनोरंजक है |

यह किताब मुझे आपकी पहली पुस्तक बकर पुराण से कनेक्टेड लगी । ऐसा लगा मानो बकर पुराण जिंदगी के एक खास पहलु के बारे में थी तो वही घरवापसी ने जिंदगी के कुछ अन्य पहलुओं का अच्छे से चित्रण किया है । बकर पुराण उसी रवि (घरापसी का मुख्य पात्र) की कहानी थी जो पहली बार एक गांव से शहर आता है और कूल डूड्स की लाइन में खड़े होने के लिए फटा हुआ जीन्स, हाथ में DSLR या गीटार, वैलेंटाइन्स वीक, फास्टींग वाला चाट, हे wasssup बेब्स वाला सब चुतियापा करता है तो वही घरवापसी कूल डूड बनने से पहले और कूल डूड वाले फेज से निकलने के बाद दुनिया की सच्चाई की कहानी है ।

कहानी की शुरुआत एक कसे हुए स्क्रीनप्ले वाली फिल्म जैसी है । शुरुआत आपको इमोसनली बाँध देती है और खासकर मेरे जैसे जनता को जो करियर, पढाई, ग्रोथ आदि सामाजिक चंगुलों में फँसकर अपनों से दूर कुछ आशाएं और कुछ सामाजिक बोझ लिए हर दिन घूंट रहे होते है। उनके लिए जिंदगी एक अजीब सी कहानी हो गयी होती है जिसे न तो निगल सकते है न उगल सकते है । उनका कौन्सियस और सब - कौन्सियस माइंडसेट मानो उतरी और दक्षिणी धुर्व हो चूका होता है । कहानी आगे बढ़ती है फिर फ्लैशबैक में जाती हैं । बिच में कही कही कुछ हिंदी के बड़े उपन्यासकारों की याद भी दिलाती है । प्रेमचंद की मृतक भोज नामक एक लघु कथा की झलक दिखती है तो वही मुझे पर्सनली कही कही फरीश्वर नाथ रेनू की मैला आंचल की भी याद आती है । घरवापसी पढ़ के अगर आप "बब्बन" के फैन नहीं हुए तो शायद आपको एक और बार पढ़ना चाहिए।

तीसरी सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात जो मुझे लगी, ये किताब "नयी वाली हिंदी " के नाम पर अभी परोसी जा रही टट्टी पे एक करारा तमाचा है ।
आशा करता हूँ मेरे जैसा हिंदी पढ़ने वाले को ऐसा कंटेंट मिलता रहेगा ।

घर वापसी(Ghar Wapsi) মানে Homecoming বা ঘরে ফেরা।বইটি রাভী(रवी) নামক এক ব্যক্তির তার নিজ পিত্রালয়,তার নিজ গ্রামে ফেরার কাহিনী নিয়ে লেখা।সমাজের চাহিদা অনুযায়ী সে ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এর পেশা গ্রহণ করলেও সে আসলে কোনোদিনই বুঝতে পারেনি সে আসলে কি হতে চায়।পাখি যেভাবে সকালে খাদ্যের জন্য আপন নীড় ত্যাগ করে বেরিয়ে যায় আবার বিকেলে ফিরে আসে নিজ বাসায় সেভাবেই নিজ পেশার জন্য সে নিজ পিত্রালয় ত্যাগ করে শহুরে জীবনে অভ্যস্ত হয়ে পড়লেও একদিন সে ফিরে আসে তার আসল ঠিকানায়।
বইটি একজন সাধারণ ভারতীয় বালকের বেড়ে ওঠা, তার স্বপ্ন দেখা,তার কৈশোর ও জীবন ,কৈশোরের প্রেম এবং ভারতের বিভিন্ন সামাজিক সমস্যাকে চিত্রায়ণ করে।

পাঠ প্রতিক্রিয়া :

হিন্দিতে পুরোপুরি পড়ে শেষ করা আমার প্রথম বই।আগে যুক্তবর্ণগুলোতে সমস্যা ছিলো।এখন মোটামুটি সবই বুঝি।কিন্তু পড়ার গতি অনেক বেশি স্লো।এই ছোট বইটা শেষ দিতে অনেক বেশি সময় লেগেছে।বইয়ের কাহিনীও মোটামুটি ভালোই ছিলো।বাংলাদেশের সমাজব্যবস্থার সাথে মিল আছে অনেক।যদিও প্রথম প্রথম কাহিনী অনেকটা মিনা কার্টুনের কাহিনীর মতো মনে হয়েছিলো।কিন্তু শেষে আমি মোটামুটি সন্তুষ্ট।

A nostalgic journey!

I picked this book after reading the summary as I found the protagonist's dilemma resembling with mine! The book itself was a nostalgic journey down the memory lane! But I wished the authored has offered more insight on his dilemma and how did he overcome it!

किसी भी मोटी पुस्तक या लंबी मूवी/सीरियल की कहानी का थीम दो-चार लाइन या एक पन्ने पर लिखा जा सकता है। कहानी के एक-एक रेशा को और हर रेशे से की गई बुनाई को कलात्मक तरीके से या रोचक तरीके से बुन कर पाठक/दर्शक तक जो पहुँचा सके वही कलाकार है।

अब इस पुस्तक की कहानी है कि एक प्रोफेसर साहब अच्छे शहर/कॉलेज को छोड़कर अपने गांव को शिक्षा द्वारा सुधारने में अपना जीवन होम देते हैं। उनका बेटा महानगर वाली नौकरी, टाई बांधकर की-बोर्ड घिसाई, में लगा हुआ है। पिता के देहावसान पर घर आता है, फ़्लैश बैक में बचपन के दिनों और स्कूलिया प्रेम-कहानी को याद करता है और फिर सोचता है कि वो भी पिता की तरह गाँव के लिये समर्पित हो जाए।

लेकिन कहानी की बुनाई एकदमे "फुटपथिया" तरीके से हुई है। खैर, हर सनीमा और किताब के पाठक/दर्शक वर्ग अलग -अलग ��ोते हैं।

ये मेरे टेस्ट की नहीं है। 5 स्टार वाले रेटिंग स्केल में चवन्नी स्टार दिया जा सकता है।

कहानी अच्छी थी और भाषा में भी अंग्रेजी कहीं-कहीं ही उपयोग में लाई गई है, जिस पर कहानी के कारण अधिक ध्यान नहीं गया | आजकल जो हिंदी उपन्यासकार हो रहें हैं जो बस नाम के ही हिंदी के लेखक होते हैं और कहानी के नाम पर भी कुछ नहीं होता,उनसे तो बहुत अच्छी लगी है |

घर वापसी एक पुत्र की स्मृति यात्रा है। पिता एक आदर्शवादी शिक्षक जो पूरे गांव को सुधारना और शिक्षित करना चाहते थे। उनका स्वयं का पुत्र राह भटक जाता है, लेकिन पिता की मृत्यु के बाद दोबारा गांव लौटता है और उनके सपनो को पूरा करने में लग जाता है। साथ ही कहानी में पुत्र की लड़कपन की प्रेमकथा भी समानांतर चलती है। कुल मिलाकर कहानी में कुछ नयापन नहीं देखने को मिला। कथानक में कुछ पकड़ जरूर है।

I picked this book because of its title. I thought it to be a contemporary colloquial, but the title is very literal.

The book is about the bourgeois millennials who left their houses in search of a greener pasture and their constant dilemma to find a home.

The protagonist returns to his home during his father's funeral and the rest of the book is about his memories with his friends and family around.

The book is a fond reminder of how all the changes are always driven by the passion and dedication of a single man. Where there is a will there is a way and it makes the impact.

The book is so relatable that makes it a very comforting read. I wish it wasn't that predictable.

"बकर पुराण" जैसा मज़ा चाहतें है तो वो नहीं मिलेगा अगर आप हिंदी के नए उपन्यास पढ़तें है और Up बिहार से जाके बड़े शहर में रह रहे और वापस अपने स्कूल घर की सैर इस किताब को पढ़ के कर सकते है
