I started following Marc on LinkedIn due to a family connection when he worked at ASOS, and I have thoroughly enjoyed his posts ever since.
I believe this was Marc's first book. It was straightforward to read due to an innovative structure of Goals, Related Tools and Techniques To Consider, In-Depth Look, Key Takeaways before finishing with Applying These Takeaways.
While the book is arguably aimed more at those just starting, there are very good nuggets of information that even the most experienced Product Managers can indulge on.
My personal favourite chapter was the final one, in particular the section on 'active listening, which is a personal professional skill of mine I wish to develop this year.
This book provides a great overview of product management, while it also offers lots of practical "tools" and techniques to apply the theory, which is grounded on lots of other well known books in this area (e.g. inspired, build trap, lean startup, storymapping, ...). Good one and still has lots of potential to be expanded to a go to book for PM!
This book is great! It doesn’t matter if you’re just beginning or you already have experience as a PM, there’s lots to be learned and great articles/books recommendations.
