We visited the Grand Canyon and stopped in the bookstore to let each kid pick out a book. L, not surprisingly, picked out this book based on the dogs on the cover. She was excited to find out that it is a true story and we enjoyed the illustrations. I definitely don't think L would have liked any other Grand Canyon book as much as she enjoyed this one with dogs.
