Kind of nerdy read, but I really enjoyed it. Interesting introduction about the evolution of the film and its script. The included "final" screenplay is especially interesting as someone who knows the film well, to see what was changed in the filming. Also includes the nixed jousting scene that I'd heard about.

a picture or two not in the movie, some dialogue not in the movie, background, script; got in 1980, not sure when finished so picked 1989 as I read so few books that year & could not pick 1980 as I didn't finish it until I saw it on video & didn't have a video player that year
