Eh. Feels like a thin veneer of "intro to culanth" over a ton of regurgitated, overly familiar takes on Russian collective memory, religion, political culture, gender relations, media, art, and the like.

Currently giving Russia: Anthropological Insights a reread in the hopes of formulating a more nuanced argument, so consider this review a WIP.
