Sadly, it took myself over a month to read this book. It wasn't due to the size; it's not a huge book, rather I would classify it as a normal sized length. It was due to my recent brain injury and short term memory loss. I finally picked it back up early this morning after my youngest threw up all over myself and my bed, and read the entire book and am now finished.

When your life has been altered, how far would you go to correct it? In a world unable to see the truth around them, caution is warranted. How far will you go to hide the truth? how much would you sacrifice for love? Can a small group get beyond their fear and suspicions to save a life.
This story takes on love, betrayal and the inability to change with the world around you. Good read, recommended for all

I read this book way back when I didn't know about GR. I was looking for werewolf stories all over. Hard to believe in 2006, I was not hooked into the internet much. This story is okay with a 2.5 star. This is lighter and not as erotic as the more current books.

This is probably my least favorite of Thompson's books. About Tala and Jason. He is looking to find the werewolf who made him what he is. In the process he finds Tala, an Native American Indian whose job is to destroy the evil werewolves. When Jason saves her she decides to see if she can save him.
